### 3/5 — Good but overpriced

*2026-05-08, version 2.0.2*

This works well, and unlike other apps that claim to test signal but instead test download speeds (!) this actually heat maps for you. But for £50 I’d prefer to invest that in hardware upgrades. It’s just way too expensive. Shame. Good app though.

### 3/5 — Limited info

*2024-04-28*

The app gives you basic ping information, nothing else. The idea is good, but needs to be enhanced with more in depth detail data about your WiFi network. The AR map does not consider multiple floor levels.
Finally, I hate the subscription model which is certainly being abused by developers. Developers need to get back to selling these kind of apps for a fixed price and they will most likely do better. Charge a couple Dollars for a tool, there is no justification in charging a monthly or yearly subscription for an app like this. Users must value the hard work and developers need to be compensated, but in a fair way.

### 2/5 — Very minimal information

*2023-10-02, version 1.9.0*

The mapping in history is just a dot mapping, not reference to the floor or house you scanned and does not even show the wifi router information (said, security, strength, etc)

### 1/5 — Waste of money

*2023-08-29, version 1.9.0*

Does not analyze Wi-Fi

### 3/5 — A bit simple and can’t export data

*2023-08-29*

I downloaded this app specifically for the purpose of predictive analytics so I was a bit disappointed. Otherwise it does what is says on the tin with maybe a bit too little detail

### 2/5 — Meaningless data

*2023-07-23, version 1.9.0*

Great idea in theory, but the results didn’t bear any relation to reality. Distribution of red-green over the scanned area appeared random and was never the same in any one location twice. At a minimum I was expecting to be able to identify access point locations by a blob of green, but nothing of the sort came out.

### 1/5 — Платное

*2023-07-12*

Полностью платно

### 1/5 — Very weak

*2023-05-20, version 1.9.0*

Pings your router and gives a wiggly worm graph. Not worth the money.

### 1/5 — There’s discount

*2023-03-11, version 1.9.0*

From 5 to 1. Tnx

### 4/5 — Simple and works great

*2023-02-02, version 1.9.0*

Easy to use and works good.
Very helpful for giving clients a visual idea of why they need a range extender in my case.

### 1/5 — Обман

*2023-01-23*

Без оплаты не работает совсем. Платное приложение, маскирующееся под бесплатное.

### 2/5 — NOT got for Wi-Fi heatmap

*2023-01-19*

This app is misleading as an augmented reality WI-FI heatmap.

The map that is shows you on history is just a cluster of green and red dots on an open black screen not accurate to the devices location at any time and no way of actually telling the location of the dots.

### 1/5 — Scam

*2022-11-18, version 1.9.0*

Please tell me how to unsubscribe so you con-artist can stop stealing my money

### 1/5 — Not Connecting to wifi

*2022-09-27*

I am connected to the Wifi and every time in open the app I get an error message saying please connect to wifi but I am already connected to the wifi router, needs improvement but overall okay app.

### 1/5 — Did not work

*2022-06-09, version 1.9.0*

The AR did not work at all. Don’t pay for this.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Free download, Not so free use

*2025-07-19, version 1.9.0*

There is absolutely nothing free about this app. While it has a free trial, you must buy the subscription in order to use it. Not so much of a free trial if you ask me. Don’t even bother downloading this app.

### 1/5 — “Free” but not really

*2025-04-29, version 1.9.0*

It lures you in with it being free on the app page, but it’s basically useless until you pay for it.

### 1/5 — Junk

*2024-10-27, version 1.9.0*

Forced to buy it

### 1/5 — Total waste of time!!!

*2024-10-05, version 1.9.0*

Can’t use a single thing without a ripoff subscription. Not to mention the paid version is the same thing you can get from “arp -a”

### 1/5 — Useless

*2024-09-28, version 1.9.0*

Scanned the whole house, ten minutes wasted, didn’t show any data. Waste of time and money

### 1/5 — Not really a Wi-Fi scanner

*2024-07-11, version 1.9.0*

It’s a test of reliable ping times for quality in houses or business buildings

### 1/5 — Goes by Ping, not Signal RSSI

*2024-05-08, version 1.9.0*

Why make a WiFi Heat Mapper & then base it on ping data instead of Signal RSSI data.
Also needs subscription to work.
Cancelled after Free Trial.

### 1/5 — Same Result Mo Matter Location

*2023-10-21, version 1.9.0*

The result was always the same. Poor at the beginning if the path, better at the end - even when I started at the router or furthest away from the router. The results should have been opposite, NOT the same.

### 1/5 — Генератор рандомных чисел

*2023-09-14*

Приложение больше подходит как "генератор рандомных чисел" нежели анализатор сигнала wifi, показывает совсем нелогичные показания, которые не соответствуют действительности.

### 1/5 — Have to pay

*2023-09-05, version 1.9.0*

Makes you pay to use the app when you click on it so it looks like it's free. Dont waste your time on this.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Love it!

*2023-11-19*

It’s very easy to use with simple directions and it actually works. The price is just as amazing. I love it!

### 5/5 — Does the job. Simple. Inexpensive.

*2023-08-08*

Scanned all areas of interest with an AR image of my floor and furnishings, which helps identify the locations for any subsequent action you might wish to take.

### 5/5 — Great use of AR technology!

*2022-07-24*

I love this app. We all have the issue of trying to fix WiFi connectivity issues. This app made it easy to walk around my house and map where the dead spots are. Then I could try adjusting the placement of my router and satellites, take another measurement and compare to see if the new placement was better or worse. Thanks for taking the time to make this app.

### 5/5 — Super cool

*2022-07-05*

Hats off to the developer. This is such a cool application of AR; marrying ping with positional location. Incredible value for the price. If you’re using this you can afford to purchase a year.

### 5/5 — Cool

*2022-06-23*

This is one of the coolest apps I’ve seen for wifi signal reading

### 5/5 — Brilliant concept, easy to use, elegant implementation

*2021-07-25, version 1.8.1*

This app told me exactly what I needed to know about my network. Intuitive interface made it easy to understand where my network was weak and what I needed to do to resolve the issue.

5 stars, will recommend

### 5/5 — Minimize your Wi-Fi obstructions

*2021-06-19*

Not sure how latency impacts real-world usage, but I do like making a ‘heat map’ then moving some potential problem objects and checking again. I know metal objects impact RF, but should I move router away from metal lamp on table? Yes, I took metal lamp away and coverage improved. I had my cordless phone base station (still) about 3 feet away, should I move that? Yes, I removed it (permanently :-) and latency improved in some areas.
Without these visual tools and recorded files, it would be very difficult to make environmental improvements, so for that I give it 5 stars.
Yes, this app is a tool, not a software suite. It does nothing other than headline description, but I assume it’s early days and developers will be adding to it based on popularity and revenue.

### 5/5 — Cool app

*2021-05-30*

I was hoping to map out my house and see where the WiFi signs was strongest. I “subscribed” for a year to use the free trial since I am not sure if the app was going to do what I was interested in. The augmented reality feature worked really well and I walked around my house with the camera aimed down and I was turning grey dots into colored dots. Green = fast ping to router, red = slow. The results were cool in the sense I could see a rough map of my house. I could tell where I walked around the kitchen island, around dining tables and beds, which bathrooms I forgot to scan etc. Five stars there! I was expecting to uncover dead zones or rooms where it was clearly slower than others but unfortunately all of the rooms were about the same. There were some random red dots next to green dots in the same room so I considered those outliers to be ignored but there were equal amounts of outliers everywhere so it couldn’t identify any problem areas. Perhaps my house coverage is good and I shouldn’t replace my existing setup with a new mesh router…hmmm

And for the “unsubscribe”, it was easy once I figured out how. Go to iPhone settings, go to your Apple ID, then there is a menu item for subscriptions and I canceled with a click of a button. No calling customer support or emailing needed. The other cool thing is my house scans are still visible in the app even after I’ve canceled. I’m guessing I will lose access after the three day trial is up, I just didn’t want to forget to cancel since I don’t have any other use for this now.

I feel like I’d pay a dollar or two for the use I already got out of this, I just don’t want to have to “subscribe”. Why didn’t I “buy” it for one month? I wasn’t sure if the app would do what I was hoping so making that the purchase decision before using it just felt weird. There’s plenty of junk apps that don’t work at all and I was afraid this might be one.

### 5/5 — Helped me to find a hidden modem

*2020-10-02, version 1.5.0*

Some kind soul moved the modem and failed to let me know where. This app helped me to find it.

### 5/5 — Great visual tool!

*2020-09-13, version 1.5.0*

This is a great visual tool and histogram for finding dead spots. Easy enough I could walk family and friends through using it to improve placement of wifi tools.
