Recently signed up to the lifetime 3TB plan because of the fantastic deals that are currently available.
Great app and service, I actually really like that they have decided to keep things plain and simple.
A little more visual customisation would be appreciated though…simple things like being able to customise the colour of folders or adding icons to folders, for easy identification would be nice.

As the old adage goes “you get what you pay for “ and in that respect, I think a lot of the comments are unfair.
Internxt is basically saying “buy the space you need, at a fraction of the price… like 80% cheaper than some big names. So if Internxt is trying to say “we are the Dacia of the cloud, I think 1 Star reviews, because they are not Ferrari standard, is pretty low.
So in short; you get cloud space, you dump your photos and documents (Word, Pages, PDF’s), and that’s it. There’s no thumbnail or metadata or ladies sprawled over bonnets, there’s no hairy chested Mickey either (thankfully). But if you do want that, there’s plenty places that will take £8.99 for 2Tb, you don’t need to look far.
PS: Developers; thumbnails are a basic thought. I mean, it’s like going to buy a Dacia, but you are not allowed to know what it looks like until you get it… that’s like USSR Soviet Lada’s!

Just started trying out your service but, out of the gate, please change your icon! I don't want people to think I'm using that oligarch's social network! Besides, if he finds out you're using "X" as your logo he could sue. 

I just noticed that there is a 25 photo upload limit. Annoying but not a dealbreaker. I don't see the slowness others are complaining about. I do think the ability to select multiple files and move them all at once is DEFINITELY NEEDED!!

Also, while your pricing and encryption options seem great, you really need an auto-photo-upload feature. All the cool cloud services have one and it seems like an obvious omission. But mainly, please change your icon! Thanks!

But when it works, very fast and slick. 

Hopefully when they have swatted more bugs it can be a useful product.

The app is easy to use and looks great.

Its missing key features to make an it extraordinary like iPhone files integration and photo backup.

Otherwise, its a fantastic app for anyone who cares about protecting their data. If you don't, go get Dropbox or some other platform that has access to all of your files.

Then, you are the product, not the other way around.

I was so tempted to buy a lifetime plan, but I am SO happy I decided to test out the app and service first. I tried to upload 3 files around 200-300MB and they all failed with an error that their server was unavailable. I would definitely avoid this and get a good app/service. I recommend Proton Drive if you care about security and privacy.

Hello!

I did notice issues while using the app : -It is not possible to sync gallery, but we must instead upload files manually.  -The files are not stored locally but we must download it each time we want to open/read it. -The app is working a bit slowly, maybe because it is mostly web-based not working on-device (cause it doesn’t work when it is offline) -I get logged out everytime I close the app (perhaps for the same reason as above) -I can’t upload files when I leave the app in background. Below are suggestions for improvements and features : -support for background refresh. -support for multiple selection of the files instead of moving files one by one. -hopefully in the future, support for more on-device functionnalities. -possibility to sync my pictures, so I’d only download those of my friends or those of mine that are not on my device. Oh and -support for dark mode :)

I don’t use Cloud services that much because I don’t have a lot of pictures to upload on a cloud. This service might not be a first-choice for other users though. 

Do know, dear Internxt team, that I think this service looks promising in the future. It is a great idea, but I hope one day it will also be a great product.

Tried to use this as an alternative to Dropbox it is utter rubbish their support is non existent they say we will respond in 3 hrs and a day later with all data missing they still do not respond. Lucky I had back ups. Really be warned about the poor support

*Use try version before buying

For Windows, say less; it works amazing. I have not had any problems so far I used.

For the IOS app, uploading photos is quite tricky. First, when you upload, make sure you can open and see the pictures on the app (if not, try a different way)
I saved the photos in Files and uploaded the images through the Files folder.

Noted: upload chunk by chunk to prevent upload failure. Also, it took pretty much longer than the other apps because it encrypts everything.

I thought 10 tb for lifetime would be amazing but I rather pay the monthly fee for pCloud then to have a one time payment for this . Photos never show up . Half way through the transfer it fails, when I try to reinitialized the upload process, it starts a new folder completely . Right after I see 7 gb used even after permanently deleting the old file. Developers used to respond to people, but only to good comments but when it comes to negative comments, they offer no reply no solution and doesn’t seem like they want to fix the app. If stacksocial didn’t have a deal on this I wouldn’t have bothered and nobody should bother even with the deal, not worth it. Only reason why I gave it two stars because there is potential in it, but only if the developers do something about it and actually take other peoples critiques into account because they are the users.

I uploaded some files on Drive. After two months, when I tried to download the files, they failed. Is it a joke? Seriously, it’s not downloading, and I lost them. Not only that they have an option for sync photos in the drive, but that is not also working properly .I need to stop using this app and find an alternative—awful experience.

I downloaded the client to my Mac. I moved about 120GB of day into there drive. It synced about 2GB and the got stuck. The status showed that all was up to date. I rebooted my Mac. All the rest of my files simply vanished. I waited a few hours, about 50GB magically started to appear. But the nothing. Waited some more. No new files. No upload traffic from my machine. 100GB of data simply gone.

Decided I can't trust this app. 

Mind you this data was all local. It never made it to their cloud.

Update 31st December 2025 : It’s 365+ days after Internxt promised “No Questions Asked Refund”, nothing happened so far, all the problems I’ve raised last year remain the same, ie issues with uploading larger files, disappearing files, failed uploads etc etc.Now they are selling 100 TB of “Lifetime Storage” for under 1000 USD, so I rest my case…. RIP InterNxt.                       purchased the 2TB lifetime plan from Intenxt during their ongoing Black Friday sale 2024, enticed by their promises of “upgraded infrastructure” and a “30-Day Money Back Guarantee—No Questions Asked.” Having been a customer in the past, I knew they had issues with uploading larger files, but based on their advertisements and recent positive reviews, I decided to give them another chance. Unfortunately, I regret that decision.

The Issues
1.Upload Problems Persist: Despite their claims of infrastructure upgrades, I encountered the same issue with uploading larger files that I experienced in the past. This made the service practically unusable for my needs.
2.Refund Policy Not Honored: I requested a refund the very next day (on November 20th, having purchased the plan on the 19th). Their policy clearly states a “30-Day Money Back Guarantee—No Questions Asked,” but I’ve already sent more than five emails, only to be told to “stick around for 60 days.” This is deceptive and completely unacceptable.

Advice to Potential Customers
If you’re considering their Black Friday lifetime deal, do not trust their refund policy at face value. I recommend subscribing to a smaller plan first to test their service, as their advertised claims do not align with reality. Once you commit to their lifetime deal, you may face hurdles getting your money back if the service doesn’t meet your expectations.

Final Thoughts
This experience has left me deeply disappointed and frustrated. If a company advertises a “no-questions-asked” refund policy, they should honor it without making excuses.

This is a warning to anyone considering investing in their 2024 Black Friday deals—think twice before letting them take your hard-earned money. I will update this review once I receive the outcome of the refund request.

A very unreliable iCloud service if you are using it through the app on an iPad . There are problems connecting to the server and the tools are poor. I spent $149 on a lifetime storage plan and I’m trying to get a refund.  They haven’t answered any of my e-mails or chats for 10 days now. They are located in Spain and I don’t think they even care. Very frustrating.

Disappointed that they have elected to move away from this app and eliminate that auto uploading of photos.  No longer see thumbnails of the images, slow uploading times, complete lack of up-to-date features available to other platforms.  Lifetime storage, but everything has to be done manually!

Their pricing page said I could get 10TB for $10.50 but failed to mention anywhere on that page that it was for the first month only.  I found out on the first day of my second month when I saw a $35 charge.  I immediately reached out and they said that they wouldn't give me a partial refund.  They claimed that they did say, on the sign up page, that the second month is $35 but when I went back to look, I found it in tiny letters at the very bottom of the page.  It was also partially behind my iPad's white bar.  So even if I had noticed it, I wouldn't have known what it was about. Don't trust these guys.  I've cancelled my account and am moving on with my life now.  You should, too. I wonder how they'll mislead their users next... oh wait, they just got rid of all their good deals!  No more 10Tb! Like I said, moving on...
