## What is Interval Run?

Exercise healthily, backed by science.

Doing intervals on your own usually means watching the clock more than the run. Every minute you have to speed up, change the incline and remember what comes next. Interval Run does that part for you, by voice. Put your earbuds in and just follow what you hear.

[Treadmill mode]
It tells you ahead of time when to change, to what speed and to what incline. It even allows for the few seconds your belt needs to catch up, so each change is called early and you hit the new pace right as the phase starts.

[Outdoor mode]
Outside, GPS tracks your distance and pace. Drift below your target and the coach says "a little faster", so there is no need to pull out your phone. Every run is saved with its route on a map.

[14 proven interval programs]
Both modes use the same programs, from walking to sprints. Pick the one that fits where you are today.
- Beginner: Run-Walk, Power Walk, Slow Jogging, Easy Run
- Intermediate: Lose Weight, Endurance, Tempo, Pyramid, Fartlek, Hill Repeats, Legs Strengthening
- Advanced: 4 × 4 Intervals, Hill Sprints, Agility Booster

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.0.4 — 2026-10-12

Now in 8 more languages: Spanish, German, French, Italian, Portuguese, Indonesian, Simplified and Traditional Chinese. Screen and voice coach both follow your device language. Android: the app now asks for notification permission so the outdoor-run notification shows.

### 1.0.3 — 2026-09-28

New program "Slow Jogging": repeated 8-minute stretches of easy running at walking speed. Five beeps now count down the last seconds before each phase change, and a spoken summary (distance, average speed, calories) closes every workout. Walking phases run at a more natural speed. Outdoor distance is also more accurate: GPS jitter no longer adds to your total.

### 1.0.2 — 2026-09-22

Fixed long program names overlapping the level tag on the home screen.

### 1.0.1 — 2026-09-21

Fixed the markers and location dot on the in-run map. Outdoor phase briefings now include your current pace.

### 1.0 — 2026-09-19
