### 4/5 — Apple Watch

**Developer response:**

App Storeからアップデートをダウンロードして、ぜひお試しください。ご期待に沿える改善になっていれば幸いです。貴重なフィードバックのおかげでこの対応ができました。ありがとうございました。

Thank you again for your thoughtful review. The Apple Watch lap display issue you raised is fixed in the latest update (3.6.0). The lap list now shows your full split-time history instead of only the most recent entries — scroll down during or after a run to review every lap. Please download the update from the App Store and give it a try. Your feedback made this improvement possible. Thank you.

### 3/5 — Unfortunate change

I liked the old simpler version

**Developer response:** Thanks for the note. Sorry to hear the new version isn't to your liking. Unfortunately, the old version was on its last leg and had to be updated. If there's anything specific you'd like to see in the new version, please write me at https://bit.ly/WriteScottDeSapio and I'll definitely do what I can to accommodate.

This Beepwatch2 allows the flexibility that you want to beep when you want.

### 4/5 — Super useful app!

*2023-08-02, version 2.6.2*

I work in Theatre and spent forever looking for an app that would let me know on the minute every minute from when I started timing without having to watch a stopwatch. This vibrates every minute and I can track time in my script without looking at it. Love it.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Awesome

*2024-11-27, version 2.6.2*

Works great Great

### 1/5 — Great app but one problem.

*2022-11-26*

I love the app, it does what I need it to do.
In fact, it’s actually better than the other timer apps.
(I use this for excercise)
In support of the app, I paid for the full version.

However, it must of detected I have Facebook on my phone (which I rarely use) and since it did, every time I toggle out of the app (I switch between this timer and a music streaming app during my work out sessions, as I try to time rest periods, and scroll through tracks I don’t want to hear)

It always asks “do you allow bleep2 to past on to Facebook”
This is annoying as I don’t use Facebook much and don’t ever post anything personal there.

Developers, Please remove this function or I will be forced to delete.

### 2/5 — Change For Change’s Sake?

*2026-01-21*

Mmm. Not a fan. New UI is slick, no doubt… but it’s wiped all my customised settings from V2, now comprises a wealth of new presets I can’t even delete (so is just ‘visual noise’ filling the screen), it’s now replete with nag screens to “upgrade to Pro” and standard/non-Pro UI themes are all kinda garish and not so legible… AND an accursed subscription (or hefty price tag)? In this economy?! I respect the work put in but am literally NEVER upgrading my iPad (wish I could roll back my phone); the eye candy isn’t worth the disruption.

**Developer response:** Thank you for your honest feedback—it's incredibly valuable to hear from longtime users like you who’ve stuck with BeepWatch through the versions. I totally get the frustration with the transition; we aimed to modernize the UI and add more features, but it's clear that some changes, like the preserved presets and theme options, have created more noise than help for some folks. The old V2 hadn't been updated in about 7 years and was starting to show errors on newer iOS versions, which pushed us to rebuild from the ground up to keep things stable and compatible. Losing custom settings is especially disruptive, and I'm sorry that happened—it's something we're looking into improving for future updates.

On the subscription front, I hear you loud and clear about the economy and the shift from one-time purchases. We introduced it to support ongoing development (like new presets and themes), but it's not everyone's cup of tea.

To make this right and let you experience the full potential without the commitment, I'd love to hook you up with a promo code for a free upgrade to Pro. Just go to https://bit.ly/WriteScottDeSapio, send me a note, and I'll send it over right away—no strings attached. That way, you can tweak themes, ditch the nags, and see if it grows on you.

In the meantime, if there's anything specific from V2 you'd like us to prioritize bringing back (or any other tweaks), hit me up. Appreciate you taking the time to share this!

### 2/5 — Almost good

*2024-04-13, version 2.6.2*

Timer won’t beep for first second. Keep trying to set new timers, hoping one will sound for the first second, no such luck:/

### 2/5 — INADMISSIBLE

*2024-01-16*

### 2/5 — Wish this was on the watch. Like the title suggests!

*2020-12-04, version 2.6.2*

No watch app! So downloaded, setup, perfect! Does exactly what I want. Except I want it on my watch, not my iPhone!

### 2/5 — Cheap

*2020-07-28*

Yeah it works.

### 2/5 — Works... kind of

*2018-08-10*

The watch itself functions well. The beep can get annoying, but I think that is mostly because I use it while listening to other apps and it blares kind of loud.

However, early on I purchased the pro version through the app, but it has never taken effect. I sent a message to the developer through the app and never heard back and no solution presented itself. Even attempting to restore purchases, or purchasing again, I get a message saying I’ve already purchased it and it will be restored automatically for free... but the. I bring the app back up, because it is playing in the background for my purposes, and have to wait through ads every time before I can close them, close the option to buy (again) the pro version to get rid of ads, and then I can get to stopping the timer. This might be okay with other apps, but not a stopwatch timer... time counts... it’s kind of the point.

**Developer response:** RE: "The beep can get annoying..."
In the settings of your timer, you can actually change the default sound, or you can shut the beep off entirely and just have the app vibrate and/or flash the screen instead.

RE: "I purchased the pro version through the app, but it has never taken effect."
This is very odd. If you could please try writing to me again at https://bit.ly/Write-Scott I would really like to see if we can't get the issue resolved. If all else fails (which I can't imagine to be the case), we can certainly provide you with a complimentary promo code to unlock the app.

Best,
Scott

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — BeepWatch can now be completely Haptic - thank you to the developer

*2026-07-05*

Scott DeSapio, the developer, is super responsive. We had a few email exchanges where he told me how to make my timer (alarm) on my watch vibrate without making sounds. (set volume = 0) - He also at my suggestion added a feature where the haptic alarm will keep going off until you stop it - great addition! This is a great app and thank you again to the developer!

**Developer response:** Thank you for the wonderful review, Rex! ❤️🫵🏼

### 5/5 — Handy App and Responsive Service!

*2026-05-13*

BeepWatch is a very handy app and it’s not just for interval training! First I used it for daily stretching. Next I set up a routine for manually watering new landscape. Works great for both and I’m sure I’ll come up with many more uses. It’s very flexible and I like the audible and haptic alerts as it transitions from one interval to the next. Scott provides great service! I was slightly annoyed that my watch face kept rotating and was upside down when I looked at it. I asked about it and he had a fix the next day. Thanks Scott!

**Developer response:** Thanks so much for the wonderful review! ♥️🫵🏼

### 5/5 — Bleep watch

*2026-05-11, version 3.5.3*

Excellent

### 5/5 — Best companion for my workouts.

*2026-01-31*

I just wanted a simple stopwatch to track my rest time and an alert to start my next set. I would love to have larger buttons like two big circles for lap and pause or restart. It would also be nice to have some kind of counter to show how many sets I have completed. But overall, I really love this app.

***Update*** What a great improvement from the last version, at some point I was afraid of the app losing support but I was proven wrong. I truly believe the developer read the email I sent him long ago, because now the app does everything I wanted and I had been looking for an app like this for a long time and even better. My previous timers got deleted but it was not a big deal because with the app now I was able to set the time for my rest and how many rounds I needed which made it easy to set up the timers again.

**Developer response:** Thank you so much for the wonderful review, joannothing. And yes, you are 100% correct - I personally read every email that comes in. So glad you're loving the update!

### 5/5 — (Update) IT’S Now Very Complicated

*2026-01-28*

Update: I took some time and eventually figured it out. It’s really still a great app. I use it for many things, but my cold showers are where it really shines. Instead of trying to endure 2 minutes, I calmly count the 30 second alerts until I’ve reached 2 minutes.

(Old review): I loved the BeepWatch! I paid for no ads and it was very reasonable. But I was just “grandfathered-in” to BeepWatch pro and now the timers I created are gone and creating new timers is ridiculously complicated. Why would you do this? Can you un- “grandfather“ me?
I want my old BeepWatch back.

**Developer response:** So glad to hear you got it sorted out and are now enjoying the new version, Trav! Great to have you back!

OLD RESPONSE: Sorry to hear the new BeepWatch is not to your liking. Unfortunately, the old version hadn't been updated in quite some time and was soon to be removed from the App Store. If you go into settings, and turn off "Advanced Mode", the interface should be nearly identical to the old version. Please don't hesitate to reach out to me directly at https://bit.ly/WriteScottDeSapio if you're still having trouble.
