### 2/5 — Adjusting my volume???

*2026-02-13, version 4.2.1*

Well I’ve used this app for years and now this week the app is adjusting my volume without my control. I mean when I’m working out I want my tunes loud. Drop the app dropping the volume. Not happy have to find another app until this can be fixed.

### 2/5 — Last update ruined the app

*2026-01-23, version 4.2.1*

App is pretty good. The last update created a bug that reduced the volume of music when the start button is pressed. Would be five stars otherwise.

Attempted to contact the company but the email doesn’t work.

### 3/5 — Love it before update. Now not so much

*2025-02-13, version 4.2.0*

Updated version is not as responsive as previous version.

### 4/5 — Import fix

*2024-11-14, version 4.2.0*

I’m looking to import a workout is there a specific template that it needs. I’ve tried multiple ways and it does not input the data

### 2/5 — Pretty garbage

*2024-05-20, version 4.2.0*

Doesn’t work great, the screen orientation always causes it to bug out and makes it impossible to use if you want to use it landscape or portrait. it’s a total pain not very user-friendly in general.

### 4/5 — Solid app

*2023-07-24, version 4.2.0*

Solid

### 5/5 — Best interval app there is!!

*2023-02-10, version 4.2.0*

My husband and I use this app 3-4x/week for various running and biking workouts (we are triathletes). By far the best interval timer app we have tried! Allows use to customize a plethora of workouts to fit our needs. Have recommended to friends and coaches as well. Very satisfied!!

### 4/5 — Great app needs to fix some bugs though

*2023-01-09, version 4.2.0*

Near perfect app for intervals. Allows for all types of custom intervals from basic to complex. I only give it 4 stars because the screen doesn’t gets jacked up when going into landscape mode. It zooms into the bottom half of the screen then gets stuck there. The only way I can make this app work properly is to lock my phone into portrait mode. PLEASE FIX THIS BUG🙏🏼!!!!!

### 3/5 — Bug

*2022-12-27, version 4.2.0*

With the iOS 16.2 update, end of workout notifications are not working

### 5/5 — Great interval trainer whatever your objective

*2022-12-17, version 4.2.0*

I use it to time my Tim Anderson Original Strength routines as I progress through his resets of my movements and vestibular system.
Pleased it makes a daily record of my workout and times.

Wish it would automatically integrate into my Apple phone health app

### 2/5 — Apple music library wiped out

*2022-12-01, version 4.2.0*

Thank you Mr. Cook. When you released the latest IOS upgrade it disabled my Apple music library. This is the third time it happened. As with the two previous ones, I had to troubleshoot it by myself (troubleshooting on line with even the a senior afvisor takes just as long; as my lifetime of 24 hours or more of troubleshooting with such wonderful people – truly wonderful professional – attests they are just as thwarted by the IOS BUGS) for four hours often and on for a week(inc signing in and out of everything). Not the first time this is happened. I think it’s because m each time you release an upgrade, it it wipes out my credit card information. But who knows maybe it was just signing in and of apple tunes. Strange because I have a renewing paid up subscription to Apple Music and it was fully pay for it in before this upgrade. I was so frustrated I bought another subscription for Apple match for $27, Which seems to be a necessary part of re-activating Apple Music. I still cannot get the Apple Music playlists back or the personal playlist I created. When I pull those up there is no music in them. I I don’t just go through this trouble because I pay for Apple Music. I do it because I love it and play it on my phone constantly throughout the day. I assume the Apple wants more subscribers to the service. If so, I humbly suggest, is Aamir Consumer, that you avoid this problem in future upgrades. M To compensate us for this, Please give us a Killswitch to stop our kids from playing games on their screens, which makes my teenagers meltdown. In other words, give me the adult organizers of family share ability to disable all apps used by child members of a family share group to block their use of the phone even altogether, independently of the ineffective such features counting by ones ISPs Comcast, Verizon etc. But I the ISPs would lose the revenue thev generate selling streaming data. In the interest of transparency, would please release the contract terms for the for Syd and the amount of money that you obtain from such agreements.. I would eat my hat if you don’t share in that revenue – directly or indirectly. You may counter that I can simply turn off the Wi-Fi but of course0f course the rub is that the kids can simply turn on their data streaming, when I disable or Wi-Fi router ((which by the way is now built into the ISP cabe modem so I will lose my ability to access Wi-Fi). Perhaps I should write to my senator to ask you to testify before the senate interstate commerce committee, or whichever committee is now raking poor Mr. Zuckerberg over the coals. Thank you so much Mr. Cook, and your shareholders (Remembering that only a tiny fraction of society owns any stock trade it on the market it’s either individually or even through their 401(k) or other institutional accounts. Best regards.

### 5/5 — Simple and effective

*2022-10-19, version 4.2.0*

Works really well for basic gym needs. I use it all the time.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — They broke the app: cuts off audio

*2026-08-08, version 4.2.1*

I bought and used the app for years. And they broke it. It now drops audio volume to almost muted for every timer, then cranks the volume back up when the timer is done. The app is now unusable.

### 1/5 — awful sounds

*2026-07-12, version 4.2.1*

awful sounds, completely unusable

### 1/5 — Garbage

*2026-03-18, version 4.2.1*

Update ruins the app. Music now ducks out. Can’t fix in iPhone settings. Trying to sell me a subscription. I already bought this. Garbage

### 1/5 — Was Great But Display Malfunctions In My Pocket

*2025-01-03, version 4.2.0*

I start my routine and put my phone in my pocket and the display expands to where I can no longer pause it or fully view it it makes the app totally unusable

### 1/5 — Free version works better

*2024-11-18, version 4.2.0*

The timer is covered when the phone is turned sideways. This isn't an issue with the free version.
Sound can cut out at times too on ipad.

### 1/5 — Super buggy. Freezes a lot. Can’t turn iphone sideways either.

*2024-05-01, version 4.2.0*

Best designed app for interval training I’ve ever seen. Problem is that it desperately needs an update. Starting to get super buggy. It’s a shame that such a good design is wasted by poor programming.

### 1/5 — Bad app

*2024-01-02, version 4.2.0*

It is bad, only works at the first couple cycles, then it won’t alarm again until you touch it. We need it to Continue alarm every 15 minutes, but I have to alarm this app every time.

### 1/5 — Appears to have issues with current iOS

*2022-12-28, version 4.2.0*

Appears to have issues with recent iOS update, I have iOS version 16. Rotating the screen doesn’t work any more and the sound when a interval has completed does work any more.

### 1/5 — No widgets

*2021-09-03, version 4.2.0*

Title

### 1/5 — Froze and now won’t restore

*2021-07-31, version 4.2.0*

This froze on me mid-workout last week. Couldn’t find a way to get it to work. Finally deleted end tried reinstalling but now there’s no way to restore my purchase so I lose all my programmed workouts. Disappointing. Was great until that happened.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great Customizable Timer

*2026-02-17, version 4.2.1*

I use this app daily for different purposes, not just interval exercises. The app calendar tracks a weeks worth of activity at a time, which is great. It would be REALLY great if you could track activity time for week, month, year as well.

### 5/5 — Perfect for the job!

*2025-01-24, version 4.2.0*

This app is perfect for setting up interval training for just about anything. I use it for strength training, and run/walk training. It lets me add warm up and cool downs for each activity, and the intervals are easy to customize. It’s exactly what I was looking for!

### 5/5 — Schedule

*2025-01-20, version 4.2.0*

This helps me to do everything from eating, to meditation
A simple alert to help me remember
It also helps me to train for my physical needs

### 5/5 — 1A

*2025-01-01*

### 5/5 — Best Timer App out of 100’s

*2024-05-26, version 4.2.0*

Have been using this app for ages, its the easiest and best by far, just needs an option to move around the sets, like click & drag rather than deleting if you need to add or change just one set (I run pretty complex layouts sometimes) and be avail on more than Ipad
Love how my favourite tunes and playlists are easy to play within it!

### 5/5 — Great timer

*2024-01-25, version 4.2.0*

I use Interval Time every day.
Easy to make minor adjustments quickly or add a new routine.

### 5/5 — Great interval trainer whatever your objective

*2023-02-13, version 4.2.0*

I use it to time my Tim Anderson Original Strength routines as I progress through his reset routines of rocking and rotation movements restore my vestibular system.

I am Pleased for it makes a daily record of my workout and times. Time of more than one session is consolidated for the day.

Wish it would automatically integrate time into my Apple phone health app which records my steps
