## What is Interval Timer?

Tempo is a focused interval timer for workouts that need structure without getting in your way. Build sessions for HIIT, Tabata, running, walking, Japanese interval walking, jump rope, abs, boxing, hiking, mobility, or your own custom training rhythm.

Create interval workouts quickly with work, rest, warmup, cooldown, repeat groups, labels, distance targets, and optional GPS tracking. Start from Tempo presets or make your own timers for anything from 30/30 jump rope to long run-walk sessions.

During a workout, Tempo keeps the important things readable: current interval, time left, elapsed time, next intervals, distance, pace, heart rate, calories, and steps when enabled. Audio cues, haptics, countdowns, and the Tempo jingle help you stay on track while your music keeps playing.

Tempo is built for real training:

- Fast workout builder with labels, duplicate, reorder, and repeat groups
- Default workouts for walking, running, HIIT, jump rope, abs, boxing, hiking, and more
- Japanese interval walking: 3 minutes fast, 3 minutes easy, for 30 minutes
- Time, distance, and step-based interval options
- Optional GPS for distance and pace tracking
- Optional Health access for heart rate, calories, steps, and workout summaries
- Live interval list so you can see what is coming next
- Workout history with redo, summaries, splits, distance, calories, and steps
- Audio cues, vibration cues, countdowns, and progress cue settings
- Front or back camera video mode with a minimal timer overlay
- Themes, unit settings, and cue preferences that stay remembered

Tempo respects that not every interval workout is a run. Use it for conditioning, strength circuits, outdoor walks, treadmill work, jump rope rounds, boxing rounds, focused mobility, or any timer-based routine.

Privacy matters. Tempo does not sell or share your workout data. Health, GPS, camera, motion, and notification access are optional and are used only for the interval features you choose to enable.

Tempo Premium unlocks unlimited custom interval workouts, removes start ads, enables video mode, and adds live heart rate, calorie, and step metrics. A one-time lifetime purchase and weekly option are available.
