### 3/5 — Intervals used to work but now adds more time

*2026-08-19, version 2026.7*

I was using this app with its original settings of 3 minutes fast and 3 slow and it would tell me when each sessions started and stopped but now it keeps saying adding extra time to each interval and counts up. I can’t get it fixed and have asked for help. I paid for the app too

### 4/5 — Good for intervals

*2026-08-07, version 2026.7*

It works well. I couldn’t get logbook to work but once I did it’s been a good product.

### 4/5 — Indispensable

*2026-07-31, version 2026.7*

I’ve been using this app for at least seven years and it’s indispensable for training and other timing purposes. The customer support is also very good.

### 4/5 — Good app

*2026-07-27, version 2026.7*

This app is getting better and better

### 3/5 — A lot of times; No maps load

*2026-07-27, version 2026.7*

All the variations of timers are great (with the paid version). My main complaint is that all my run maps are just pending logs. They don’t seem like they will ever sync up with the actual workout.

### 5/5 — Best app to get the job done!

*2026-07-20, version 2026.6*

Been using it for years. No subscription, purchase one time - money well invested! Works great with my Apple Watch, and great for kettlebell sessions.

### 5/5 — My daily go to

*2026-07-19, version 2026.6*

Best intervals training app. Great integration options with Apple Watch as well as exporting to different apps and AI tools. Love it!

### 5/5 — The only interval app you need

*2026-07-17, version 2026.6*

10/10 so customizable and the “send activity to Strava” is back to including the map showing your route!

A consistent partner in training for this run

It gives what I need (;

### 5/5 — The best!

*2026-06-29, version 2026.5*

I’ve been using it for my gym workouts and tennis practice to be as efficient as possible and it’s been wonderful!

*2026-06-21, version 2026.5*

Used many times a day... never a problem

### 5/5 — Perfect for my needs

*2026-06-21, version 2026.5*

This app does exactly what I need it to do no more and no less.

### 5/5 — Excellent

*2026-06-19, version 2026.5*

Intervals get broken after some time.

Update: i am an idiot. I recorded a screen with app notifications on and thought those extra “notifications “ were coming from the app.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work

*2026-08-04, version 2026.7*

GPS distance does not work, when editing and saving workouts it does not do the edits it stays stuck on what was there before

### 1/5 — Frustrated

*2026-07-18, version 2026.6*

At first this was a great timer but as time goes on it is the worst! On several occasions it deleta the timer I programed within minutes of me finishing and saving. If it did not involve planning and was a cut and paste I wouldn’t care but it isn’t. Time to discontinue and find something better! I want a refund for time wasted.

### 1/5 — A subscription for a timing app?

*2026-07-12, version 2026.5*

$4/month seems kind of crazy just to be able to change interval times? I have a hard time seeing what ongoing monthly costs require the developer charge a subscription. It’s a timing app… on my phone… this isn’t Netflix.

### 1/5 — Connection issues

*2026-06-25, version 2026.5*

I don’t seem to be able to start a workout from the point where I previously stopped or where I intend to start, say if I wanted to skip the rest period. It appears that I have to restart the workout from the beginning each time. Is there a way to resume a workout from where I left off?

### 1/5 — Keeps Deleting My Premium Intervals!!!

*2026-05-28, version 2026.4.1*

I paid 20 dollars for the premium version and every time I go to painstakingly write out my workout intervals, they keep getting deleted. So that’s a total waste of time and money. Lovely.

### 1/5 — Issue w health permissions

*2026-05-25, version 2026.4*

I’ve loved this app for years and now I’m having consistent issues where it freezes and tells me it needs permissions. I’ve tried all of the fixes and it still happens. Very frustrating after years of trust

### 1/5 — Needs too much info

*2026-05-24, version 2026.3.3*

This app has always worked no matter where I was in the world, on or offline. Now it had to connect to apple health. An app i didnt have on my phone and have never needed. Now the app wont work when im traveling for work and am in a place with no signal or wifi because it cant track ALL MY DATA. I onow this wont be an issue for most but for me it makes this app useless now

### 1/5 — Long time user

*2026-05-23, version 2026.3.3*

The app is great, too many apps lose focus. This simplistic app focuses on the target of being an interval timer. Nothing else. And that's perfect. I have a water reminder app that for some reason has weather and other odd notifications.

I got pro, it's not too different. I mainly got it to support the developer. Tbh, only feedback is have is, update the icon, the app is great.

Latest update is broke. No matter the permissions.

### 1/5 — Garbage since update

*2026-05-22, version 2026.3.3*

what was a really decent timer app has turned into garbage since it seems to now require Apple Health tracking to us.

### 1/5 — Not working

*2026-05-22, version 2026.3.3*

This worked with my watch until yesterday. I had to try reinstalling because it disappeared from my watch. Now I have to pay and it still isn’t loading.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Intervals Pro: HIIT Timer

*2026-08-21, version 2026.7*

I’ve been really disappointed in the past with other interval timers, sometimes needing 2 or even 3 different apps to do what I want/need. Intervals Pro: HIIT Timer gives me everything I want/need plus more. It is so easy to set up/customise and the level of detail when summarising your workout is amazing. As you can maybe tell, I would highly recommend 👍🏻

### 5/5 — iOS 16 Support is back!

*2026-08-20, version 2026.7*

Thank you for restoring support. I use this for a lot of “exercise snacks” throughout the day!

### 5/5 — Great for HIGH INTENSITY INTERVAL TRAINING (HIIT)

*2026-08-17, version 2026.7*

HIIT is the way to go for fitness for the maximal benefit for the minimal time, and you can combine short bursts of cardio with short bursts of weight. You can designate intervals and rest periods as you like, designate number of intervals or overall time, and can make anything in your home work with this. I have weights, a few pieces of cardio equipment, and do yoga, so can loop around the equipment I have at home with maximal effort and short rest periods and get an excellent workout in 30 minutes. Works in a gym also if you are willing to move to any available piece of equipment or you work out at an unpopulated time. I paid for the upgrade to do this and it is so worth it. It transfers workouts to Apple Fitness seamlessly. Great motivator if you are starting out again!

### 5/5 — Best intervals app

*2026-08-15, version 2026.7*

By far the best intervals app out there. Allows the most flexibility. Voice cues so you can focus on workout. Can mix time and distance. Better than the interval function on dedicated sports watches I have tried. On par or better than general workout app at a better price while not trying to sell me shoes that sync with my phone. Only suggestion I would have is to prove a total at the end of a workout for each interval. Each interval is listed with stats, but I imagine it wouldn’t be too hard to provide list the totals for the different intervals.

### 5/5 — So flexible, So simple

*2026-08-09, version 2026.7*

Intervals Pro is a Swiss army knife of workout apps but is the simplest to use that I’ve found. Just imagine running and hearing just the right amount of coaching about being too fast or too slow for your target pace, keeping you from constantly placing down and seeing just a snapshot of the moment.

You can customize intervals, repetitions, and add in all sorts of odds and ends to your workout.

You can use this to record an Apple Watch Workout, and you can also use it in the background to coach your pace and let the Workouts app record your data. So flexible I use them both during races!

### 5/5 — Great for any timed activity

*2026-08-09, version 2026.7*

Besides fitness, I use it to move the hose at regular intervals when watering my garden. It works great!

### 5/5 — So much flexibility in configuration - Great support

*2026-08-02, version 2026.7*

There is so much flexibility and customization that you can build into your timers. Support is very responsive too.

### 5/5 — Great! Constant updates

*2026-08-01, version 2026.7*

I would be happy enough with this as a phone app, but it’s the watch integration that makes it one of my all-time favourite apps, period. Use it every day for exercises as well as any time I need a stop watch – much more flexible and nicer UI than the built-in versions.

### 5/5 — Honestly…

*2026-07-26, version 2026.7*

Everyone should own this app… it is one of the best apps out there. I fee like the applications of it’s functionality our vast. Anyone who buys this app and takes the time to put it to use will decide it’s amazing. From working out to kitchen timers to idk…. Endless possibilities where this app can be helpful.

### 5/5 — Awesome App

*2026-07-22, version 2026.7*

Very nice easy to use and customizable workout tracker
