## What is Interview Expert?

Interview Expert is a voice-first interview coach for professionals preparing for English-language job interviews. Practice real interview questions out loud, get instant AI feedback on your answer, and learn the better way to say it.

WHY VOICE MATTERS
Interviews are spoken, under pressure. Interview Expert is built around saying your answer out loud — so when you walk into the real interview, you've already practiced what works.

WHAT YOU GET

• Hundreds of real interview questions across 13+ role categories — software engineering, product, design, marketing, sales, consulting, finance, data, operations, customer success, HR, healthcare, legal, and general professional.

• AI feedback after every answer — score, what was strong, what to improve, and three alternative ways to phrase the same answer in different styles (concise, assertive, storytelling).

• Pronunciation notes that point out words you stumbled on and how to say them clearly.

• Type when you can't talk — on a train, in an open office, late at night. Typed answers get the same full AI coaching, and are marked so you can say them out loud later in one tap.

• Two practice modes:
  – Drill: tackle individual questions on your own pace
  – Mock interview: a structured 10, 20, or 30-minute session with an AI interviewer, summary, and overall score

• Bilingual support: English + Traditional Chinese (繁體中文) — practice answering in English with Chinese explanations alongside, or fully in English.

• Live transcription runs on your device where supported, with Gemini-powered AI coaching in the cloud.

WHO IT'S FOR
Asian professionals preparing for English-language interviews at international companies — engineers targeting Big Tech, PMs and designers moving abroad, consultants and bankers preparing for case interviews, anyone wanting to sound clearer and more confident in their next interview.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.5.1 — 2026-10-05

• Adds Meta ad measurement so we can see which ads work. On iPhone we ask before any tracking. Your answers, recordings and resume are never shared.

### 1.5 — 2026-09-29

Bug fixes and improvements.

### 1.4 — 2026-09-01

This update adds visibility into your monthly practice time.

• Your subscription card in Settings now shows exactly how many hours you have left this month.
• If you reach your monthly limit, you'll get a clear upgrade option instead of a dead-end error.
• This is accurate everywhere you practice, not just one mode.

### 1.3 — 2026-08-30

This update adds a progress chart to your practice history.

• History now opens with a chart of your speaking pace and filler words over time. It is built from practice you have already done, so if you have been drilling for a while it has something to show you straight away.

• Switch between the two measures, and see your pace against the 130–160 words-per-minute range that tends to read as calm and confident.

• The in-app privacy policy is clearer about your audio: what is processed on your device, what is sent on for AI feedback and to whom, and how long anything is kept before it is deleted.

Also in this release: a fix to version reporting, and backend reliability work.

### 1.2 — 2026-08-21

• Type your answer when you can't speak out loud — full AI coaching either way, marked so you can come back and say it in one tap.
• The free trial is now 3 hours of AI coaching, valid for 7 days from your first practice.
• Settings now refreshes your plan and usage the moment you return to the app.
