## What is Intrinsic Value Calculator OE?

This Intrinsic Value Calculator is based on Warren Buffett's "Ten Cap Price" otherwise known as "Owner Earnings" calculation. Buffett is calling Owner Earnings: "the relevant item for valuation purposes - both for investors in buying stocks and for managers in buying entire businesses." 

There are many different ways to calculate Intrinsic Value. For example based on DCF (Discounted Cash Flow) Model or EPS (Earnings Per Share). Our new "Intrinsic Value Calculator DCF" and "Intrinsic Value Calculator EPS” applications are also available on App Store.
   
Per Warren Buffett Value Investment Theory the buy decision should be based on several factors: 

1. Company must have competitive advantage.
2. Company performed admirably in the past 10 years, recovered after market correction(s) and recession(s).
3. Company must have long term prospects - be relevant in 10 years from now.
4. Company's market price should be 20-30% less than calculated intrinsic value - margin of safety price. 

The logical question you would ask is how is it possible for any good company to have the market price 20-30% bellow intrinsic value? The answer is: YES it's possible. The potential reasons could include: bad news about the company, company's industry is out of market favor, market is in correction or recession.

Warren Buffett indicator -> the historical ratio of Total Market Cap over GDP is currently at 232%. Meaning we are in the biggest Stock Market BUBBLE in history!

This proves that current stock Market Bubble is bigger than "DOT-COM Bubble" of 2000 or "Housing Bubble" of 2008. It's just a matter of time before current BUBBLE will POP presenting an opportunity for Value Investors to buy their favorite stocks for less than intrinsic value! But in order to buy your favorite stocks for less than intrinsic value you need to know what this intrinsic value is.  This is when our Intrinsic Value Calculator comes handy. You can calculate, store, reload and compare intrinsic value with market price anywhere and anytime, and all you need is your phone and our application.

The goal of this application is to help value investors with calculation of intrinsic value. Most of the values required for calculation could be found on company's latest annual report. Annual reports can be found on company's website in investor relations section. Values missing in annual report could be found on GOOGLE. 

Our calculator comes with several Examples: Bank of America, JPMorgan Chase, Alibaba, Baidu and Magnificent 7 -> M7 stocks: Nvidia, Tesla, Meta, Apple, Amazon, Microsoft, and Alphabet.

App doesn’t use the power of the internet. It’s a calculator only. Put in a stock symbol and it should populate with data such as number of shares, earnings, depreciation etc. You have to manually gather the info. I immediately cancelled the trial.

People who are serious about investing and want to learn how to read and understand annual reports of the companies they want to invest into. If you are so busy to learn about company's financials before investing your hard earned money, you can find precalculated intrinsic values on internet provided by biased analists who want to lure clueless investors to buy stocks they cover disregarding any fundamentals or market overvaluation. Also our calculators are intended for all Countries/Locations/Currencies. Annual reports in different countries do have a different formats and require manual processing.

I have never had a prob with the app but I already paid for it once. I won’t be paying for a subscription to something that I have already bought the right to use. This is very disappointing and in my opinion the previous purchase should be refunded since so can no longer use what I purchased.

**Developer response:** Lilshorty2007, when we migrated our app to subscription based payments, we introduced simple logic to check receipt for the original purchase date. All users who purchased our app before migration should be able to continue using our app without purchasing subscription. Unfortunately AppStore doesn’t keep original purchase date when user uninstall and reinstall app, or when user changes phone and reinstall app. This is a known AppStore issue with receipt validation.  All we can do now is to apologize on behalf of AppStore for this AppStore deficiency and offer you a full refund for original purchase. Please follow these steps to request a refund: 1. Sign in to reportaproblem.apple.com. 2. Tap or click "I'd like to," then choose "Request a refund." 3. Choose the reason why you want a refund, then choose Next. 4. Choose the app, subscription, or other item, then choose Submit.

### 3/5 — Keyboard in the way

Just bought this app, and about half way into inputting information, the keyboard got in the way, and I can’t see anything. There is no way to use the app if the keyboard is in the way!!! Update: After communicating with the company, they suggested that I use Display Zoom at my Iphone at Standard level, instead of Larger Text. My Iphone is set to Larger Text since day 1, and after using more than 100 apps this is the first time where I have to change the Zoom Setting from Larger Text to Standard in order to be able to use the app. I increased the rating from 1 star to 3 stars due to the developer trying to help, yet acknowledging that their app currently can’t work in the Larger Text zoom setting. Once they have an update which fixes the issue I will be able to increase the rating from 3 to 4,5 stars. At the moment even 3 stars is too much as I have to change zoom setting in order to use the app.

**Developer response:** As per our email communication, you can use the larger Font size, if you like, but you do need to use the "Standard" zoom mode, since it's working for you, in order to fit all required edit fields on the screen. Just bought it and cannot use it. Need to clear up the spaces where you put the information. Unable to read what is being typed in those spots. Other than that the video makes it look good. Please fix it.

As for typing visibility issues, you can easily fix it by following these steps: Go to settings -> Display & Brightness and select Light mode. The font is not visible in a Dark mode. I purchased the app recently and the app has been helpful in researching intrinsic value and finding value especially in this market. I updated my rating from 3 to 4 stars due to how pleased I was with the customer service. They got right back with me and helped work thru my issue. Still wasn’t sure about the intrinsic value that was calculated but I’ll keep trying it. They should do a YouTube video tutorial.

What a genius app.  Excited to use it but both the text and background of the text box are in black. This makes it impossible to read the entry. I’ll update my star rate once I can use it.

It does not let you see any number

This app is a great tool. I had a issue with seeing the numbers but the team actually respond in a timely manner and help me resolve the issue and it works great now. I recommend the app and the team behind it.

I just bought this thinking it would be easy to move or navigate. It has taken me 100 attempts and I still cannot calculate anything. Cheap and worthless.

Added Nvidia Example. Warren Buffett's Owner earnings formula choke on NVDA due to Maintenance and Capital Expenditures of $463.2 BILLION is 163 times greater than sum of all other assets used in Buffett's formula. It results in negative intrinsic value of -$1,864. It basically means that in case of liquidation Nvidia shareholders will get ABSOLUTELY NOTHING -> $0. 

Someone would argue that Nvidia is a growth company and have to be calculated based on growth formulas, so we calculated it based on DCF and EPS formulas.

Based on DCF formula intrinsic value of NVIDIA is $93.10 overvalued compare to market price by 675% !!!

Based on EPS formula intrinsic value of NVIDIA is $79.14 overvalued compare to market price by 811% !!!
