## What is Introibo?

Introibo is a prayer companion built for the traditional Catholic life. Designed for the Roman Missal and Roman Breviary, with full support for the 1962, 1955, and pre-1955 rubrics. Ad-free, offline, and without subscription. No accounts. No tracking. Just the prayers of the Church, always available.

YOUR DAILY COMPANION
The Hodie screen shows today's feast, the proper of the Mass, the Divine Office, fasting and abstinence obligations, the daily psalm, and the seasonal Marian antiphon, all computed from the traditional calendar. See the liturgical colour, the season, and countdown to the next major feast at a glance. Follow one of seven patron saints with daily practice checklists and streak tracking to build a habit of devotion.

THE TRADITIONAL ROMAN MISSAL
The entire Ordinary woven together with 574 daily Propers in their correct order, each with full English translations. Latin and English rendered side-by-side. Every rubric observed: 14 proper Prefaces selected for each season and feast. The Gloria appears only when the rubrics prescribe. The Credo on Sundays and major feasts. Psalm 42 omitted in Passiontide. Proper Tracts replace the Alleluia from Septuagesima through Palm Sunday. The Canon includes proper Communicantes and Hanc Igitur for the great feasts. The correct dismissal, Ite Missa Est, Benedicamus Domino, or Requiescant in pace, chosen automatically. Three distinct Masses for Christmas. The Requiem Mass with its proper texts.

THE DIVINE OFFICE
Pray all eight canonical hours: Matins, Lauds, Prime, Terce, Sext, None, Vespers, and Compline. The complete weekly psalter with individual antiphons. Proper capitula, hymns, and versicles change automatically with the season. 285 saints' feast propers with collects and antiphons. Three-nocturn Matins with Te Deum for Class I and II feasts. Seasonal hymns for Advent, Lent, Passiontide, Easter, and Christmas. Four Marian antiphons at Compline. Set reminders for each canonical hour.

LITURGICAL CALENDAR
Browse the traditional calendar month by month in list or grid view. Every day shows its Latin feast name with English translation, liturgical colour, and season. Tap a day for full detail: feast, colour, season, fasting obligations under your chosen discipline, and a link to that day's Mass. Share any day as a styled PDF.

THREE SETS OF RUBRICS
Choose your tradition. The 1962 rubrics, the 1955 reforms, or the pre-1955 Tridentine rubrics, each with its own calendar and feast rankings. The ordo resolves temporal and sanctoral conflicts, tracks commemorations, and assigns the correct liturgical colour for every day.

FASTING AND ABSTINENCE
Three penance disciplines: the 1962 norms, the 1917 Code of Canon Law (with Ember Day fasts, vigil fasts, and Saturday Lenten abstinence), and the stricter pre-Pius XII observance (with Advent fasting and no upper age limit). The app shows your next obligation day and spells out exactly what you can and cannot do.

SEARCH
Search across everything, prayers, Mass propers, Office hours, saints, and reference articles, from one search box. Diacritic-insensitive, so "miserere" finds "Miserére." Results link directly to the content.

PDF EXPORT
Share or print the Mass propers and calendar days as styled PDFs with parchment background and bilingual side-by-side layout, ready to take to Mass.

67 TRADITIONAL PRAYERS
Build a personal prayer rule for morning, midday, and evening. Browse 12 occasion categories. Every prayer in Latin and English. The complete Rosary bead by bead. Fourteen Stations of the Cross. Examination of conscience and confession preparation.

LEARN LATIN
Ten lessons in Ecclesiastical pronunciation. 97 flashcards. Psalms and Vulgate reading exercises.

REFERENCE LIBRARY
41 articles. 574 searchable Propers with full English translations. Mass history timeline. Liturgical glossary.

Everything works offline. No internet permission. No analytics. No data collection. Your prayer life stays on your device.

### 5/5 — Fr.

*2026-08-01*

INTROIBO is perfect - well, nearly perfect (for all my needs). When INTROIBO includes a Latin/SPANISH language option, it will have attained ultimate perfection. In all seriousness, this is a magnificent and most helpful App meant to help every devout soul; for the traveling priest, it is especially beneficial. I thank God for this gift.

### 5/5 — No Latin-Spanish

*2026-07-16*

So many updates and none for a upcomming Latin - Spanish speaking

### 3/5 — UX isn’t as good as could be

*2026-06-06*

Font size too small for some elements. Doesn’t change between dark and light theme with the system. Doesn’t allow texts to be copied. App still seems to be slow and sluggish sometimes.

### 5/5 — The Best Traditional Catholic App!

*2026-05-21*

Thank you creating this app! It is well designed, user friendly, an invaluable spiritual aid, informative, focused without unnecessary distractions, and has a zero stress factor in using it. The Holy Spirit must have breathed inspiration upon you to develop such a divine tool for the laity! Thank you and God Bless you! Pax vobiscum sit.

**Developer response:** Thank you so much for your support. There is much more to come, so we’re happy you have enjoyed it so far.

### 5/5 — Outstandingly Thoughtful and Comprehensive Catholic Lifestyle Companion

*2026-05-19*

This app offers it all: Mass, prayers, daily asceticisms, and tutorials. I am grateful for the hard work put into this piece of software that will, no doubt, help countless people nurture a love of traditional Catholic life.

### 1/5 — Perfect

*2026-05-18*

One of my constant complaints has been trying to figure out how to do more traditional penances and this app seems like it will help with that. I really wish you guys would outline what each set of fasting rules contains though. Like whats the differences between each of the three. Deo gratias!

**Developer response:** Thank you for the support and the specific feedback. You’re right that the differences between the three disciplines aren’t laid out in the app, that’s something I’ll add in a future update. We really appreciate the helpful insight. Please let us know if there’s anything else you’d like to see!

### 4/5 — Good potential, but buggy

*2026-05-18*

Upping my starts a bit because the developers are working to fix the issues. This app has great potential but rather buggy. Not yet five starts, but I appreciate the effort

**Developer response:** Update 1.1.5 will be out soon and should address all those concerns. The Missal and Office needed some help, yes, and hopefully all the bugs are resolved. This is our first app, so there will be some issues, but rest assured we’re working hard to fix them.

### 5/5 — I love it

*2026-05-18, version 1.1.5*

Love how simple it is to use, no login, no nonsense but so rich of material and everything you need. Thanks so much 🤍

### 5/5 — TLM Catholic Dream

*2026-05-17*

For this who cannot afford or find a 1962 Missal or Divine Office, or for those who wish to know the “canonical” Catholic prayers in Latin (with pronunciation), this app offers all of that was and more. It allows you to create a prayer schedule with the traditional prayers, and it provides the traditional Latin with its traditional English translations, side-by-side. Great for any Catholic, whether traditional, modern/progressive, reconciler, or just Catholic, as it provides a standard for Catholic prayers and devotions.

**Developer response:** Thank you for your support! We’re so glad that it has been helpful for you. Please let us know if there’s anything you would like in future versions.

### 5/5 — Upon First Time

*2026-05-16*

This is a well-designed App. Taken to the heart of our Latin language, traditional ecclesiastical life, and for people like me, very very good, and I think this will continue to be my guide for a long time, and the fact it works OFFLINE!!! GREAT!!
Thank YOU!! I saw this off a Purely Catholic YT post, and I went straight to it, and I am grateful,
God bless! And though he probably didn’t make it with this direct intention, I hope the creator of this app has it known to millions, Love the inclusion of the Latin!! Our language, surviving, and baptized. From the Romans, to the Catholics.
Amazing, and hope we can all come to pray together by ways like the Latin, God bless the creator of the app and all who share it! Amen

**Developer response:** We’re so glad you enjoy the app. When we were designing it we specifically wanted it to be offline because that was something we wanted for ourselves.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.2.3 — 2026-08-09

WIDGETS
Bring the liturgical day to your Home Screen: Today's Feast, a Daily Reading, the Divine Office hour by hour, your chosen prayers for morning, midday, and evening, and a Sanctorale widget showing where you are in the Church's year and the saints ahead. Small and large sizes are each designed for their space, styled like a missal page. Ribbon markers, drop caps, and the day's liturgical color.

THE YEAR AT A GLANCE

A new year overview in the calendar: the seasons as bands, with a "you are here" marker.
Jump straight to the moveable feasts: Easter, Ascension, Pentecost, Corpus Christi, Christ the King.
Month cells now mark vigils, octave days, Ember days, and days of penance.

An optional Upcoming Feasts card on the Home screen (off by default and enable it in Settings).

THE MOST ACCURATE TEXTS WE HAVE EVER SHIPPED
We audited every day of the liturgical year against primary sources: every hour of the Breviary and every Mass, in all three supported rubrics (1962, 1955, pre-1955):

The Divine Office now renders feast and commemoration propers in full: the correct ferial Matins psalter, proper psalm assignments at Matins, Lauds, and Vespers, the commune responsories, the Great O antiphons, the Triduum collects, and the Roman (not monastic) Vespers structure.

The Canon of the Mass is complete on the great feasts: the proper Communicantes no longer truncates, the 1962 Canon adds the St. Joseph clause, the dismissal precedes the Placeat, and the communion of the faithful includes the Ecce Agnus Dei.

Sequences restored (Victimae paschali, Stabat Mater, Dies irae), Trinity Sunday's introit corrected, Holy Name Sunday's Mass and Office repaired, and hundreds of oration and calendar corrections.

Also in this release: text-size accessibility improvements throughout.

### 1.2.2 — 2026-07-15

Version 1.2.2

• Add the Divine Office to your Prayer Rule with bell reminders
• Redesigned prayer rule editor
• Export the complete Mass or any hour as a printable PDF
• App shortcuts: long-press the icon for today's Mass, the current hour, or the Rosary
• Pre-1955: full Epiphany octave office and Our Lady's Saturday office restored
• Fixed festal psalms overriding the weekday psalter
• Rite switching (1962 / 1955 / pre-1955) now correct everywhere

### 1.2.1 — 2026-06-10

What's new in 1.2.1

The Office of the Dead. Pray the traditional Office for the faithful departed: Matins, Lauds, and Vespers. With the full psalms, lessons, and responsories in side-by-side Latin and English.

67 traditional prayers. A greatly expanded prayer book, including the Veni Sancte Spiritus, the Divine Praises, the Litany of Loreto, O Sacrum Convivium, and a set of Marian, Eucharistic, and canticle prayers. Build any of them into a customizable personal prayer rule.

Accurate calendar through 2050. The 1962 calendar has been rebuilt from an authoritative source and verified day-by-day: correct feasts, transfers, octaves, and privileged ferias for every day from 2024 to 2050.

Fuller Divine Office. English translations now cover the great majority of the Office, and the Saturday Office of the Blessed Virgin Mary is included with its proper seasonal forms.

English for every day. Every feast and feria shows an English name on the home screen and calendar, across all three rites (1962 / 1955 / pre-1955).

Cleaner, more accurate text. Polished the Mass Propers and Office prayers: corrected spelling, removed stray formatting marks, and fixed the bilingual section headings so the English title sits centered beneath the Latin.

Plus, assorted calendar and Office corrections from your feedback. Thank you for praying with Introibo.
