It's close to being a stand alone app, rather than a companion app. The fonts and videos are great quality. Lots of pre-made templates, nice variety, and lots of options for customization. Also, it was fairly easy to start using; not a big “learning curve”... My only mild complaint would be with the options for importing my own audio clips for the soundtrack. At present the app lets you import audio from the Music app, or the Files app. It would be nice if IntroMate would be able to connect to AudioShare. Other than that, no complaints, and I’m still happy to give it 5 stars; thanks for a great app! UPDATE 1/16/2026: IntroMate IS able to import audio clips from AudioShare, but it has to be through the Files app. Also one other minor problem discovered: The exported video files from IntroMate are in HEVC format, which can cause compatibility issues with some video editing apps. There are so many themes and editable features that you can make your own original intro videos. Nobody will know you made them with this app. I highly recommend this app for anyone who is spending hours trying to make videos using apps like motion 5.
