The app itself is horrible to use very buggy and slow and really makes it hard work when I’m in a rush. Consistently crashes during the mileage, consistently does not record mileage, and you will go days weeks and even months without it being tracked properly.. There’s no good way for technical support to reach out to you and they do not address most issues. There are better options out there. I would steer clear. ### 3/5 — Great Potential, but Hiccups *2026-08-22, version 26.08.3* This is a great company that has a lot of potential but has so many hiccups. For me, as a small business owner, when I call with a question, I speak from someone from a third world county who tried to upsell me on products, a $50 subscription which I have to a $200.. I speak with another rep about help with a question and have to verify minimum deposit, my email address, spell my name out and sometimes get asked the same question twice. My information is updated, yet, I have to wait til Monday to to get help from the bank because they are a middle man company for green dot bank and the verification to do my mobile wallet with my iPhone is tied to my old phone number somehow. Would not recommend this company. Again, a lot of potential. But too many hiccups and prompts before getting anywhere. When you get transferred, you go through the routine verifications ALLLLL over again. ### 4/5 — Great features! *2026-08-22, version 26.08.3* I love the wonderful features. Whatever AI update they released it killed the Keyword filtering in invoicing and the invoices which used to take me 5-8 mins are now taking 30-35 mins. I was on numerous calls where the level 1 escalated to level 2 and finally they told me to write feedback. It's been 3 weeks and the support person emails me once a week just to let me know they don't have time to troubleshoot. Finally they setup a Tech support call today 8/20 at 6:00PM and I have been in lobby for past 45 mins and the host is by letting me in. Looking to swith to alternate product if the issue is not resolved in next few days as it's killing my business. ### 1/5 — CRITICALLY UNUSABLE *2026-08-20, version 26.08.2* The quickbooks ai intro screen has made the app nonfunctional. New iphone 17 pro, so it’s not my device. After logging in, it just freezes on the walkthrough screen of the ai slop feature. App is entirely unusable as no amount of clicking or tapping will progress thru the walkthrough nor close it to let me access the app. Absolutely broken - as all ai slop seems to do. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Full of bugs *2026-08-25, version 26.08.3* won’t let you get into expense transactions to add a photo receipt. This current version doesn’t work at all now. Also when tracking mileage it 9 times out of 10 just freezes and won’t track, it’s so so frustrating, I don’t think I’m going to be able to continue with it as when I do get into it (1 in 10 times I try) I have to try and do everything I need to do before it freezes again. I certainly won’t be able to justify the £12 odd pounds when it comes to paying full price for it. It frequently crashes, sometimes just can’t even load and has more bugs than the Amazon. Only half my business banking transactions load and the integration with my bank is pants. Seems to have got worse since they were takenover ### 1/5 — Flaws *2026-08-22, version 26.08.3* Desktop version works better, but the mobile app has so many flaws that a lot of the time you have to go online to fix small errors. I am currently getting on my laptop since I can’t scroll up on my invoice to edit. Just the little things that will drive you insane. Unfortunately im starting to think I’m going to have to bite the bullet and level up with jobber. Quickbooks seems to get worse and worse every year. ### 1/5 — NO GOOD *2026-08-22, version 26.08.3* I’m struggling to say anything good about this and the fact that I have lasted this long using this program is beyond me. It’s hard as it’s a massive job starting all over again with a new program. It’s constantly not being able to save my work including quotes and invoices resulting in me trying do them a second even third time and waisting hours and hours of my time that I just don’t have. I’ve had to text message quotes through half the time as this doesn’t work. I recommend paying a bit more and using something reliable that saves you money and time instead of this program. ### 1/5 — Crashes constantly *2026-08-22, version 26.08.3* App crashes when logging in often. When I do get logged in for auto mileage tracking the app crashes every time here. Turned off auto mileage tracking and app still crashes. Phone is updated to newest software along with app and still having issues. Tried deleting completely and reinstalling three times and consistently running into the same problems. It’s hard paying over $100/month for an app to make business life more efficient and have to open up Quickbooks through a browser to get it to work. App needs work increasing reliability. When it works it’s awesome, I’ve wasted far too much time trying to resolve this situation. Apple and Quickbooks have updated many times between hoping it would be fixed. Still an ongoing issue unfortunately. ### 1/5 — Promotions, Promotions *2026-08-21, version 26.08.3* It’s hard to get anything done in QBO or their app anymore. Intuit, interrupts every simple task with endless promotional offers to upgrade your subscription, gain access to business financing, or learn about agentic AI by upgrading your subscription again. It’s so excessive and disruptive to my daily workflow. My book keeping has suffered using QBO has become a tedious chore of closing intuit popups.
