## What is Intuition Check?

Intuition Check is a simple, focused game for testing and training your intuition.

Try to sense the hidden value — a playing card, a number, or a picture — before it's revealed. Two modes let you practice in different ways:

• Passive intuition — the hidden value is already chosen. Read it before you flip.
• Active intuition — the hidden value isn't set yet. Will it into being, then check.

Features
• Guess with playing cards (36- or 52-card decks, optional jokers), with numbers (adjustable digit range), or with image sets — choose a ready-made set or build your own from your photos, added from your photo library, camera, or files
• Two ways to play: reveal one value at a time, or lay the whole set out as a grid and tap to find the hidden value — a correct tap lights up green
• Ready-made sets: add a finished image set in one tap — Zener Cards, Shapes, Colors and Rock Paper Scissors are free; the Zodiac Signs set is a one-time purchase
• Keep several guess sets side by side, each with its own settings, and switch between them right in the main view
• Track your results: mark each round correct or wrong — or enter your guess before revealing and let the app score it, telling you straight away whether you were right
• See how often you're right compared to pure chance, your best streaks, and how you're doing over time
• Share image sets with friends as files, or send them straight to your partner's phone in partner mode
• One-tap reveal for quick rounds
• Clear view mode hides every control for a distraction-free session — touch and hold to exit
• Partner mode connects two phones directly over your local network for shared sessions — with cards, numbers, and your image sets
• Clean, calm interface that stays out of your way

Private by design
Intuition Check collects nothing. No accounts, no analytics, no telemetry, no third-party SDKs. Your settings, photos and results stay on your device, and partner mode talks phone-to-phone over your local network — nothing is sent to us, and we run no servers that could receive it.

Try it free
Explore with 1 hour of free in-app time — it counts only while you're actively using the app and adds up across all your sessions, so there's no rush. When you're ready to keep going, subscribe: the first month is free, then $0.99/month (shown in your local currency). It is an auto-renewing subscription: it renews every month until you cancel. It is also Family Sharing–enabled, so up to five family members can use it. Cancel anytime in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.

Ready-made sets
Some sets are free, others are a one-time purchase (shown in your local currency) and Family Sharing–enabled. They're separate from the subscription: buying a set doesn't include app time, and subscribing doesn't include the paid sets. Anything you add becomes your own copy — rename it, reorder it, remove pictures, or share it with a partner.

Say thanks
If you like the app, there's an optional tip jar in Settings. Tips unlock nothing at all — everything works exactly the same either way — and you can send one as often or as rarely as you like.

Learn more
If you'd like to read up first, the app's website has a step-by-step how-to guide and a questions-and-answers page — covering guess sets, building a set from your photos, the partner game, statistics and more. Both are also linked inside the app, under Settings → About.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.8 — 2026-08-18

• New help pages on the website — a step-by-step how-to guide and a questions-and-answers page, with quick links right inside the app (Settings → About, and beside guess sets, statistics and the partner game).
• Statistics: a new "Reading your results" note to help you make sense of your numbers, plus a link to more on the website.
• New setting: turn the tap pulse animation on or off (Settings → Main view).
• Small wording and polish.

### 1.7 — 2026-08-12

You can now rate Intuition Check from inside the app. Open Settings — the sliders button in the top-right of the main screen — and tap "Rate the app" to go straight to the App Store rating and review screen. Ratings help other people discover the app.

Thanks for playing.

### 1.6 — 2026-08-11

New in 1.6

• Tap to find — a new way to play. Instead of revealing one value at a time, lay the whole set out as a grid and tap to find the hidden value. Each tap is its own round; a correct tap lights up green (and buzzes, if you like). Works with cards, numbers, and image sets, in both Passive and Active modes.

• Arrange the grid your way — position it at the top, center, or bottom, or fit the whole set on screen without scrolling.

• A green flash on a hit — correct guesses now light up green, alongside the usual vibration. Turn either on or off in Settings.

• Your statistics, your choice — results now stay in the current session by default and clear when you quit. Turn on "Save statistics on device" to keep your history across launches. (If you already had saved stats, they're kept.)

• Filter your statistics by play style — compare how you do "one by one" versus "tap to find."

• A tidied-up Settings screen, smoother guess entry, cleaner number and set layouts, and a handful of small fixes.

### 1.5 — 2026-08-07

Ready-made guess sets

Building a set from your own photos is lovely, but sometimes you just want to start guessing. Open Settings → "Manage guess sets", tap + → "Ready-made sets", and add a finished one in a single tap.

• Free: Zener Cards, Shapes, Colors, Rock Paper Scissors
• One-time purchase: Zodiac Signs — twelve star signs in gold
• See every picture in a set before you add it
• Each set comes with a "?" cover card shown before the reveal
• What you add is your own copy — rename it, reorder it, remove pictures, export it, or send it to a partner
• Add a set again whenever you like

Paid sets are an extra, separate from the subscription: buying a set doesn't include app time, and subscribing doesn't include the paid sets.

Know straight away whether you were right

With "Enter your guess" tracking, the app now tells you the outcome the moment the value appears, instead of leaving you to remember what you picked. A miss shows your guess beside the answer — as a thumbnail for image sets. You can turn this off in Settings → Guess tracking.

There's an optional buzz on a hit as well, switched off until you turn it on in the same place. It also needs System Haptics enabled in iOS Settings → Sounds & Haptics — with that off, nothing in any app vibrates.

A fairer draw

Every value is now drawn from the whole set every time, so the same card or picture can come up twice in a row. That is what makes the "compared to pure chance" figure on the statistics screen exactly right: the app used to quietly avoid repeating the last value, which shifted the real odds.

Say thanks

If you like the app, there is now an optional tip jar in Settings. Tips unlock nothing at all — everything works exactly the same either way.

Also in this update
• Contact support straight from Settings → About, with your app and iOS version already filled in
• A link to the App Store page in Settings → About
• Clearer wording throughout: the same name for the same thing everywhere, and "touch and hold" for that gesture
• The welcome screen's button is reachable on smaller iPhones
• The subscription screen always says why it appeared
• Statistics: clearer section titles, and the per-value chart now explains itself instead of vanishing for very wide number ranges

### 1.4 — 2026-07-24

This update is all about making the game your own — and seeing how you're doing.

• Image sets — build guess sets from your own photos, added from your photo library, camera, or Files, and try to sense which picture is hidden.
• Multiple guess sets — keep several card decks, number ranges, and image sets side by side, each with its own settings, and switch between them right in the main view.
• Statistics — mark each round correct or wrong, or enter your guess before revealing and let the app score it. Then see how often you're right compared to pure chance, your best streaks, and how you're doing over time.
• Partner mode with images — image sets work in shared sessions too. Your set is sent to your partner's phone automatically, phone-to-phone over your local network.
• Share sets — export an image set as a file and share it by AirDrop, Messages, or Mail.
• Faster card display and other small improvements.

As always, everything stays on your device — no accounts, no analytics, nothing uploaded.
