So I installed it on another iPhone 6+ with iOS8.3 on it knowing that it used to work on that platform. Unfortunately the latest version is crashing on the old OS as well. The strobe section blinks on and off in about 1/2 second intervals. I tried contacting tech support, but they didn't provide much help. I tried reinstalling the program, but it didn't resolve the problem. However, it did work correctly with my son's newest model iPhone 3G. I recommend not getting this program until they resolve this blinking problem I downloaded the update that suppose to fix the problem, and it now works properly; the strobe section doesn't blink anymore. I don’t really use the course tuner part as much as the strobe at the top. I own a Peterson Strobe tuner and have checked the accuracy of this application against my Peterson and was very impressed. It does have problems in high noise areas, but all tuners do. I manually select the string if it’s having problems. BTW Peterson Strobe $135 so $5 is well worth it. ### 1/5 — Erratic *2008-10-05* Showed my A string as extremely out of tune when in fact it was tuned perfectly to the high E string. Unreliable at best. Useless to many. It seems to just about give me correct pitch on E and I tune by ear from there. Cannot recommend I'm afraid. ### 3/5 — Brauchbar *2008-09-29* Wenn keine Stimmgabel zur Hand ist, kann man die Saiten ganz gut hiermit "vorstimmen". Die Anzeige ist gelungen, und man braucht während des Stimmens das iPhone nicht zu berühren ... außer um es wieder anzuschalten, denn das Programm verhindert das automatische Abschalten nicht. Wunder sollte man aber (von keiner der Tuner im Store) erwarten. Es geht nichts über das Stimmen nach Gehör. I purchased this app for the iPhone 4. At first it worked fine, it was very easy to use, had all the features you'd want, and recognised pitch very well. However all of a sudden it stopped working. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling with no luck. I reported the problem and its been a couple of weeks passed without a new update or anything to fix it. I cleaned it and re-strung it, and then realized I had no tuner. (The last tuner I had was a windows app called guitar tuner, on a computer I hadn't booted in years). So, I decided to download an iPhone tuner app. I first downloaded another tuner app before getting this one, and couldn't figure how the heck to use it. Then, I got this one, and within about a minute, I had my guitar perfectly tuned. The interface is very simple and intuitive, and there are alternate guitar tunings available, although, I probably won't be using those any time soon. The only comment I have to the developer is that they should make the app force the iPhone into an always on state, as currently, the iPhone screen dims every 20 seconds, requiring a tap on the screen to un-dim.
