### 2/5 — Not easy to use at all

*2021-07-27, version 1.10.9*

I’ve used a number of other parking apps and I have to say, this is the worst so far.
I open the app to start parking session and you default to 12 hours, why? who thought that was a good idea??
When installing an app it should never ask for Bluetooth access before I’ve even registered.

### 4/5 — It works, could be better...remember to end your session!

*2019-12-30, version 1.9.4*

I downloaded the app. It was recommended at the pay station info board at the parking lot I was in. I like using apps when possible so I decided to give this one a chance.
After downloading, I created an account through the app. Then I used location tracking from the app to locate the lot I was in. I zoomed into the map and my gps location was in the same area as the automatically selected lot. I decided to proceed. Even though I wasn’t absolutely certain what the next steps entailed for me. This confusion had me debating on ditching the app and paying the normal way with a credit card at the pay station. Anyway, I cautiously proceeded. I entered my credit card info and input the amount of time I needed to park for. This automatically determined the rate based on the time I selected. Then I input my license plate number. And that was the last step. Or so I thought. You have to end your parking session or you will get charged again after your time expires. I received a text notifying me that I had 15 minutes remaining so I went back to the app and closed my parking session. Phew

### 1/5 — Immediately Crashes

*2019-11-02, version 1.9.3*

Won’t stay open. Immediately crashes.

### 4/5 — Works Fine

*2019-07-28, version 1.8.0*

Had to download app and pay for parking remotely on a train trip out of San Diego. The other reviews made me uncomfortable, but I was pleasantly surprised. Though not as glossy as many apps, it works fine. Processing fees are reasonable. Would definitely recommend and will use again. Thanks

### 1/5 — You pay much more! + poorly designed app

*2019-05-18, version 1.7.3*

Convenience should not cost 5$ more on the hourly rate.

### 1/5 — Such a bad app I ended up parking somewhere else

*2019-05-13, version 1.7.2*

There were multiple glitches in where you’re supposed to enter credit card information. Had to tap the boxes multiple times in order to enter information bc the app would freeze up.

### 2/5 — Needs improvement

*2019-03-30, version 1.7.0*

Used it in San Diego last night for first time. It is not intuitive. I ended up paying twice for 1 parking session because I thought I was ending the transaction when I actually was ending the parking session. Which makes little sense. Why would I want to end a parking session 1 minute after I paid $10? Hoping Inugo can reverse the second charge.

I had no problems with crashing app or anything. It was actually pretty easy. But the Inugo team needs to test it with users a little more and in a real world setting. Imagine trying to figure this thing out when you're in a hurry. Needs to be quick and easy to understand.

### 1/5 — consistently crashes on start up

*2019-01-01*

Installed this app so I could avoid the long line waiting to pay for parking at the lot for the Copley Symphony Hall in San Diego.

I paid more than $30 for parking using the app. I believe using the automated parking machine would have been $20.

So $10 more for the convenience was my choice, but I'm now unable to access my paid parking info in the app to show the attendant (my car is new and does not have a plate yet.

App consistently crashes on start up. Unable to access anymore. I even deleted and reinstalled. No go.

### 1/5 — Crashes....

*2019-01-01, version 1.6.10*

I gave it a try, but no luck....just kept crashing....

Also, if you make a mistake typing your credit card you won’t be able to correct it, you will have to press back button and try again.

### 1/5 — AVOID AT ALL COSTS

*2018-07-21, version 1.4.1*

Emphasis on costs!!!!

Total gyp, do NOT use this app! It will place charges AHEAD of you knowing about them, not alert you about them, and take your money regardless. Cannot put into words how angry this app has made me.

Shame on whoever made this.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Just use a pay station

*2026-04-25, version 2.5.5*

I’ve tried using this app three times. The first time I ended up paying twice. The next two times it refused to connect and I couldn’t pay with the app at all. There are so many parking apps out there, how could they make one this bad?

### 1/5 — Mandatory

*2026-04-07, version 2.5.5*

We “upgraded” our parking system to require this app. A lot of our customers don’t even have smartphones to park at our office now. Pathetic.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work

*2023-10-11, version 2.2.0*

I can never get into my apartment building because it says I’m not in range while I’m literally in front of the detector. I sit there for 5-10 minutes waiting for someone to come help me.

### 1/5 — Didn’t work for me

*2022-11-22, version 2.0.8*

I downloaded the app because it was supposedly necessary for parking at a Due Drop event. Standing in the rain having parked my car, there were none of the alerts that were supposed to appear on my screen and the instruction were useless. Don’t see how those less tech savvy than I would cope.
Fortunately someone told me I could pay for my parking inside and advised me to “delete the app”
Obviously I wasn’t the only one who had problems.

### 1/5 — Customer service nonexistent

*2022-02-17, version 2.0.3*

Can’t get a hold of the company to resolve a payment issue. Zero answer for weeks and now I have to pay out of pocket to park at my worksite. Highly suggest not using this app if you expect any customer service.

### 1/5 — not worth the hass

*2021-12-03, version 1.10.9*

Takes 10x longer than. paying at the meter

### 1/5 — Not privacy friendly

*2021-03-20, version 1.10.7*

They required me to sign up just to try the app and see availabilities in the location of interest. They also insist on getting access to Bluetooth, my phone number and credit card- all again before I was even assured that the app was of any value.

Turned out they had nothing in Knoxville so I deleted the app.

Wasted my time and attempted to infringe on my privacy.

### 1/5 — Account signup broken

*2021-02-05, version 1.10.6*

Trying to Sign In with Apple keeps failing after CC step. 4 weeks and still not fixed 👎👎👎

### 1/5 — Not intuitive

*2020-02-02, version 1.9.4*

I entered my credit card information and submitted a payment. The map icon had a lock symbol on it which I thought it meant the payment went through. Thought I was good... Came back with a parking ticket on my car

### 1/5 — Terrible connectivity and UI interactions

*2020-01-05, version 1.9.4*

The interface is straight up hideous. It is laggy and hard to navigate. The map had such a hard time loading that most of the time it’s incomprehensible. The payment setup is terrible and entering information is hardest ever. Overall design of this app is a disaster.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Super easy and clean

*2026-03-10, version 2.5.4*

I hate all the different parking apps that are out there. But my office now has Inugo for their parking. I have to use the app. This seriously has been the easiest app I have ever used. Clear graphics and just a pleasure to use.

### 5/5 — Friendly Parking App

*2025-08-14*

Easy app to use. I really like how my session starts automatically, no need to check-in or start my session.
Bookings feature is pretty cool.

### 5/5 — Finally parking made Easy

*2024-12-11, version 2.3.0*

Couldn’t ask for a better more intuitive app. It’s easy to use, navigate and secure, even my kid was able to use it in the passenger seat. I didn’t have to upload a whole bunch of info in order to use it. It’s seriously painless. I wish I could use inugo for every spot!!! Thankful it also works every time I open it. The other apps are always down.

### 5/5 — Easy to understand and use

*2024-12-11, version 2.3.0*

I’m not the most tech savvy and usually get irritated with these type things, this app is self explanatory and very easy to use. I wish all others were this simple

### 5/5 — Easy use for dummies!

*2024-12-11, version 2.3.0*

I love this parking app because it’s so easy for me to use! I am a dummy when it comes to using technology, so it was so great to find this app! I’m a country girl and it helps me park when I go into the city and notifies me when my session is about to end so I don’t get tickets. Highly recommended!!!

### 5/5 — Super easy to use

*2024-05-02*

Used in Atlanta and it was so easy to get in and out of the lot. Used a QR code. App is clean and simple

**Developer response:** Thanks for the kind words!
