How can I simplify the process? Thanks 🙏 ### 2/5 — Don’t honor bids *2026-02-27, version 3.2.1* I have lost several auctions to bids that are the same or lower than my high bid. When asked why their reply was it’s up to the auction house which bids they honor and which ones they don’t. Complete BS. Don’t waste your time. ### 2/5 — I don’t know why I can’t bid *2025-11-29, version 3.1.7* When I want to register to bid a day or 2 before the auction starts it just keeps saying pending even during the auction this happen 4 times to me and I lost a real good item I really wanted because of it ### 2/5 — Lagging *2025-11-12, version 3.1.6* Bidding often lags or gives incorrect bid info. I have “won” items but find out after bidding has closed that I was outbid without any notification or chance to increase my bid. ### 2/5 — Full of bugs *2025-10-07, version 3.1.4* Sign in process is flawed, bugs need fixing for iPhone ### 1/5 — Live auctioneers isn’t ideal but it’s better than this *2025-08-02* This app locks you into landscape mode on the iPad, so it’s not possible to turn the iPad vertically. I only use the iPad vertically so that’s a particular challenge for me. It is not possible to block auction houses on this app. I’ve blocked over 90 auction houses on Live Auctioneers that have practices with which I do not agree (These apps should all do a better job of vetting the auction houses on their platforms, but that’s another story). So, a search on this app will include results from auction houses that I will never buy from, which requires careful sorting on my part. Also, on this app, if you ask to join one auction from one auction house, you will be automatically enrolled in every auction from that auction house going forward. And there is no way to turn that off. Customer service is slow/nonexistent. Live auctioneers is not great, either, but it has fewer weaknesses than this app. ### 4/5 — Search filters need more flexibility *2025-05-22* I like the app and use it all the time. However, I wish it would be possible to exclude certain auction houses when doing a broad search. Right now you have to manually check each individual auction house you want to search and leave the one you don’t want unchecked. There is one auction house I don’t want to see results from (obscene material) so I have to manually check the rest of the auction houses. It would be nice to be able to be able to select all and unselect just one. Terrible customer service and you have to pay a premium to use them. Avoid at all costs ### 1/5 — What in the world is wrong with you people … *2025-05-08, version 3.1.1* This garbage app does not work correctly …i used invaluable for year …today i open it and a window comes up saying mandatory update required …i click and it takes me here and it shows the app is up to date …i go back and restart the app and i restart google play and it still shows the same garbage ..what the @#$& is wrong with you people …get your darn @#$& together ..i closed both google play and invaluable and it does not change …WTF… ### 1/5 — App now busted *2025-05-08, version 3.1.1* This has been good but now the app keeps telling me to upgrade to keep using and there is no update so not sure what is going on ### 3/5 — Need 2-Factor Authentication *2025-04-13, version 3.0.9* App needs better searching ability. 2-factor authentication and a better way to search for auctions that carry specific items. ### 1/5 — Shipping is bad for outside of Orange County, CA *2025-03-29, version 3.0.9* This auction is considered for local pickup maybe but if you are bidding online would go through The UPS Store in Orange Co or near by would rip you off for hefty shipping cost which you can’t do about or forfeit your auction !!! I would not recommend esp for anywhere outside LA - from Southern CA to North CA for 70 lbs they charged nearly $200… which included $40 for packaging and pickup the items from the auction! So it’s not worth it!… ### 2/5 — Fail. *2025-03-16, version 3.0.9* An app with much potential but fails miserably to deliver. It’s clunky and non intuitive. Search function is atrocious. Can’t save auction houses so you have to filter to your country then scroll down to select auction house No ability to jump to first letter in name so bad luck if your auction house starts witH a Z. And to top it all off you have to do it all over again next time because there is no way to save it. There is no vetting. ### 1/5 — This update erased all history *2026-06-29, version 3.2.6* This app update erased everything I had saved, my current bids, and my previous purchases. So frustrating! ### 1/5 — new update has major bugs and does not function *2026-06-26, version 3.2.6* do not update with the newest version if you rely on the app to function. you will not be able to click on a notification of an upcoming listing and then click through to bid in the auction due to bugs, renders the app useless. ### 1/5 — Erroneous badge notifications *2026-04-08, version 3.2.3* Since the last update, the app keeps showing erroneous badge notifications that cannot be cleared. Very obnoxious. The only workaround is to turn off the badge notifications for the app. Fix it! ### 1/5 — Avoid *2025-12-30, version 3.1.9* Invaluable seems to be in a state of decline. No response to multiple customer service emails. On past experience in disputes they will always side with dodgy auction houses against the customer too. ### 1/5 — Not worth it *2025-12-13* I had a terrible experience with this app. I paid over $600 for a product that I never received. After my payment, the company they allowed to sell on their site sent me to a shipping "company" that turned out to be a total scam. They requested more money through PayPal or Venmo, which raised many red flags for me. My bank told me not to pay them. It feels like I've been completely scammed, and I'm left with no product and no way to get my money back. Save your time and money. I have attempted to contact Invaluable countless times with no response at all! ### 1/5 — Horrible Customer Service *2025-12-06, version 3.1.8* Invaluable has horrible customer service and is not concerned about clients that attempt to use their app. ### 1/5 — Overpriced, pompous, auction houses. *2025-11-14, version 3.1.6* The app is good but if you try to buy anything there is a 25% fee on top of anything you buy. Then there is THEIR shipping cost that is marked up. That and the action houses want way to much person info. They require Drivers License, passport, proof of address(power bill), and proof that you’ve bought from an auction house before. This before you can buy anything. I’ll pass! ### 1/5 — Why bother ? *2025-10-01, version 3.1.4* You give personal information to this company to get approved for bidding but every auction house that uses this app has their own criteria . So they want you to verify your identity . You go through a third party that rejects you because the picture of your ID was unclear but it never gives you a chance to reverify !! So I have to go through auction houses and get approved by them . Tell me what’s the use of using this app again . I’ll go with another app ! Disappointing !! ### 1/5 — Zero transparency, pathetic service *2025-09-30, version 3.1.4* This platform is an absolute nightmare. After verifying my identity and being approved by auction houses, Invaluable suddenly placed me on a “no-bid list” with no explanation and no way to appeal. Support admits it’s done by some automated “Trust & Safety” system but can’t say why, can’t remove it, and offers no escalation path. To make matters worse, the support agent literally closed the chat while I was still asking for help. This is pathetic, unprofessional, and damaging to anyone trying to do legitimate business. They take your personal data, label you a risk with no accountability, and leave you stranded. If you value transparency or customer support, avoid this app. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Online auctioning made easy *2026-05-23* I am the last person who would ever say that buying an item online through an auction would be exciting rather than nerve-racking, but Invaluable has made it so simple. Trustworthy and intensely loyal to their customer base, I’ve never had a question unanswered. Their customer service is excellent. The interface is beautiful and functions perfectly. I trust that I am dealing with legitimate auction houses that are selling items that are as described. The auction premiums and Invaluable fees are high but the items bought at auction usually retail for 3x+ the amount I pay at auction. Shipping is an open scam for them because you don’t know shipping cost before the bid so they hit you with exorbitant shipping prices $600 to ship a “36 x 36” painting from Gilbert az to Las Vegas what a joke.
