## What is InvenioScan?

InvenioScan is the fast and intuitive app for professional inventory management — completely free and ad-free. Scan barcodes with your camera, record prices and automatically calculate your total stock value, look up product details from online databases, and organise multiple inventories — including PDF and CSV export.

**Free & ad-free**
InvenioScan is entirely free to use — no subscription, no in-app purchases, and no ads.

**Scan & Capture**
Point your camera at any barcode or QR code – InvenioScan recognises the product instantly and automatically fills in the product name, manufacturer, and price. Built-in text recognition (OCR) lets you scan product labels directly. Duplicate detection prevents items from being logged twice by mistake.

**Prices & Stock Value**
Record the unit price and quantity for each item — InvenioScan automatically calculates the total per item and the overall inventory value. Always know what your stock is worth at a glance.

**Automatic Product Lookup**
InvenioScan searches multiple well-known product databases automatically:
• Open Food Facts (food & beverages)
• Open Beauty Facts (cosmetics & care)
• Open Pet Food Facts (pet food)
• Open Products Facts (general products)
• UPC Item DB

**Personal Product Catalogue**
Every scanned item is saved to your local product catalogue. On the next scan, it's recognised instantly – even completely offline. Catalogues can be exported and imported as JSON to share with colleagues.

**Inventory Management**
Create as many inventory events as you need – with a name, responsible person, and reference date. Each inventory shows the item count and total value at a glance. Entries can be edited, deleted, and searched at any time.

**Export & Share**
• PDF export with company name for professional inventory lists and catalogue overviews
• CSV export for direct use in Excel or Numbers
• JSON export/import of the product catalogue

**Settings**
Tailor InvenioScan to your needs: company name for PDF exports, currency, decimal separator (period or comma), and which online databases to query.
