### 4/5 — Pretty Good

*2025-12-29, version 2.0*

Having subcontainers is great. I think I’d be willing to update to 5 stars if the app was updated to allow easy reordering of subcontainers and photos of items. Or maybe I missed something in the UI that allows for that function.

### 3/5 — Liquid Glass nowhere

*2025-11-06*

No mac app but priced the same as things 3 which has a Mac app.

No Liquid Glass anywhere

### 4/5 — Soooooo close

*2025-06-09, version 2.0*

Lots of great features - container hierarchy is well done - but way too much clicking overall. Put a “move” button next to each item/container in the list view. After moving an item, go back to the view of where it was moved from so you can move the next thing. Moving items is one of the top interactions a user will have with the app besides creating and searching; don’t make it take 3 clicks every time I want to move something then multiple clicks to get back to where I was to move the next thing. Have the bottom menu (search, add, list) visible at all times so I don’t have to click Back a bunch of times to get out of a container.

### 4/5 — Barcode Scanner

*2024-03-28, version 1.9*

The barcode scanner is the only issue that I'm having with this, it doesn't find the barcode that's in frame and when it does it goes back and forth of letting me hit submit

### 5/5 — Just the best

*2023-05-31, version 1.6*

I've been looking for a home inventory program for a long time and a friend of mine told me about this one and after checking it out I asked that perhaps they could give a discount to a disabled veteran and the owner wrote me back and said he would be happy to accommodate me if I could submit something to verify my condition which I did this guy didn't need to do that he provided me with a great program easy to use well written and I just want to say thank you very very much

### 5/5 — Great!

*2023-05-29, version 1.6*

Update: Thanks for the sorting feature! Now if we could have 2 more things, this app would be a 6/5:
1. Sort manually organize items inside rooms and containers.
2. Change the default sorting option.

Quick feature request: Can we have a way to sort our items? At the moment it is locked to sorting by date added.

New review: This app is amazing! I had one issue with the battery/camera, but in the latest update this has been fixed! This developer is on it! Thanks for the fix!

Old review: I would definitely recommend this app, as it looks great, but keep an eye on your battery, as it drains much faster, as the camera is constantly in use. The performance is also not great, but asides from that it’s great!

### 4/5 — Please reissue my free lifetime membership.

*2023-01-24, version 1.3.2*

Thank you for answering my concern. Look forward to trying the app and updating my review.

### 4/5 — Photos Required?

*2023-01-18, version 1.3.1*

I was really excited to try this out, but the fact that the app requires you to add a photo of every single container and item is a huge hurdle. The camera opening right in the app is very convenient and I do appreciate that, but I need there to be an option to skip that step. I was planning to use this more for organizational purposes than insurance ones, so it's honestly just unreasonable to have to take a picture of every writing utensil or miscellaneous charging cord that I have in my junk drawer, y'know? Really hoping this is addressed in an update 🤞

### 4/5 — Pretty nice app

*2023-01-17, version 1.3.1*

Good for keeping track of your possessions, and great to have if you have any items stolen.

Author is responsive to comments, enhancements.

### 5/5 — Moving

*2023-01-16, version 1.3.1*

The App is fantastic when moving houses. Things get hectic and you forget to write stuff down. Now just take a picture and put it under the room and label the container it’s so so easy!

### 2/5 — Email verification

*2023-01-15, version 1.3.1*

Email verification - sending of mail - not working correctly.

### 5/5 — Most have app, best I have seen in years.

*2023-01-14, version 1.3.1*

This is the greatest app, user friendly, well
Laid out, especially for an accurate inventory of all you important items.

In case of a fire, tornado, flood or any other event, you have everything to present to your insurance company. What a great find.
Thank you for an amazing app.

### 3/5 — Help

*2023-01-14, version 1.3.1*

I have tried numerous times and do not receive code for email verification

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Liquid Glass nowhere

*2025-11-23, version 2.0*

No mac app but priced the same as things 3 which has a Mac app.

No Liquid Glass anywhere

Dodged a bullet. Almost bought this app a year ago, but decided to wait. Thank gosh I did given the app hasn’t gotten an update in a year.

### 1/5 — Zero support

*2025-11-07, version 2.0*

I really regret having payed for this.

### 1/5 — Abandonware. Pro also doesn’t work

*2025-06-13*

I got lifetime pro, shared the home with someone, and it tells them I don’t have pro so they can’t see it.

Emailed support twice now with no response.

### 1/5 — Pro doesn’t work

*2025-06-07*

I got lifetime pro, shared the home with someone, and it tells them I don’t have pro so they can’t see it.

Emailed support twice now with no response.

### 1/5 — Lifetime $0 promo doesn’t work

*2025-02-13, version 2.0*

As above

### 1/5 — Was Free - after update now you have to pay ?!

*2024-11-08, version 2.0*

When I first started to use the app it was free.

Now if I want to create new containers I have to subscribe or I can't create them?

At the moment it seems I can continue to create items. But I have no way of finding them.

Typical developer, get your audience to start using the app, then introduce payment for the app.

Too bad, I'll go back to excel.

For those of you who will pay it's not a bad app.

### 1/5 — Not free lifetime

*2023-01-14, version 1.3.1*

Downloaded app through “AppAdvise” claiming free for life” After downloading and following instructions for lifetime it says I have to pay subscription after Jan 21/23. THAT IS NOT FREE LIFETIME

### 1/5 — Disappointed

*2023-01-14, version 1.3.1*

Can’t list items unless take a pic. Don’t want to take pics of everything

### 1/5 — Malfunctions

*2023-01-14, version 1.3.1*

iOS 16.2 here and tried to access the app with creating a user name and password for approx 4 hrs received the welcome email for verification and still waiting for permission within the app. Will wait for another 6 hrs then deleting the app. Please fix.

### 1/5 — Will not let me verify my email

*2023-01-14, version 1.3.1*

Will not let me verify. My email cannot use app.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Saved my sanity

*2025-06-27, version 2.0*

Honestly probably my favorite app. I was never as organized as I would like to be and this app helps me keep track of where items are, which container they are in, etc.

### 5/5 — The best

*2024-11-27, version 2.0*

I was writing a long glowing review and lost it before submitting it.

For now suffice to say I started out just cataloging my 30 tote bins of Halloween decorations and liked the app so much that I am now using it as a tool to accommodate for my AuDHD. I am cataloging my regular possessions.

Since I have an issue with “out of sight - out of mind,” Itemlist helps me keep track of what I already have as well as helping me not need to have to have “somewhere special so I won’t lose it” for important stuff, like my ballot. I was able to put it wherever and just catalog it. No memory required. Anything that gets put away gets put into the database when I do so.

It’s like having a side brain that actually works.

I tried several other cataloging apps and was disappointed repeatedly. This is the one that actually does what it is supposed to do. What really sold me on this is the User Wishlist and the fact that items were actually being checked off. The developer is actively improving Itemlist based on users’ needs.

### 5/5 — Easy Inventory is What I needed!

*2024-11-16, version 2.0*

I searched and searched for a simple inventory tool that could be shared with a group. This was it! A little more complicated than other tools, but simple enough and the ability to add photos makes it perfect for my need. Subscription isn’t cost prohibitive. I appreciate that!

### 5/5 — Love This App!

*2024-10-05, version 1.10.5*

I can’t say enough good things about the ItemList app! It’s so easy to use, and it keeps all my tasks and shopping organized in one spot. Sharing lists with others is a game changer, and the reminders help me stay on top of everything. Plus, it syncs perfectly across my devices. If you’re looking to make life a whoooooole lot easier, definitely download this app!

### 5/5 — Super easy to use

*2024-08-14, version 1.10.1*

It has all the functions you need to make a small or a big inventory.

### 5/5 — Your Search is Over

*2024-07-26*

I have been searching for a home inventory app for ages, years in fact, and although there are lots of home inventory apps on the AppStore, I never found one which was suited for my needs, most of them are either very business-centric, too lacklustre or simply just bad – Sure, there’s ones which have all the bells and whistles - but you need deep pockets to able to afford the subscription model, and if they happen to offer a “lifetime licence” it’s astronomically high.

Then I found Itemlist! The app is still predominantly in its infancy and fairly new, but it’s powerful, easy to navigate and gets updates regularly. The Developer of the app is very customer focused and goes above and beyond to help in any way he can 😊 I know that there’s big plans for this app, and the roadmap includes some fantastic features which I am excited about, including the possible implementation of end-to-end encryption and a host of other really good features which can be requested in-app!

If you’re like me and forget where you put things and you know its somewhere in your home but can’t find it – this is the app you need, if you want to make and inventory of your precious items and belongings for insurance purposes just in case disaster strikes, you can do that to, oh, and don’t worry about your data, it’s securely stored on EU servers, which have very strict privacy laws to protect your data plus all of your inventory is available on all your devices thanks to the cloud syncing. You can also use the app offline which is handy if you are in an area with no Wi-Fi.

Adding an item is as easy as telling the app what room in your home your item is and taking up to 5 photos of that item and adding it to your inventory, that’s it! Sure, if you want to go more in depth and add more details and more information like purchase date, cost, model and even weight. There’s also a notes section and barcode information can be stored too, you can do all that and more.

Essentially, you can make this app as simple or as advanced as you wish. If you’re the forgetful kind, this app is for you, if you have ADHD and you need your home to be perfectly organised – this app is for you! If you have a small business and want to keep an inventory of your business stock as well as your home, and want to keep them separate, you can also do that, and if you are moving house and want to be able to scan a box and “see” what’s inside it, yep, you guessed it, you can do that too!

On top of all this, itemlist has the most reasonable monthly and annual subscriptions - by far, compared to all the other apps in its class– but wait, you don’t like subscriptions I hear you exclaim, no problem! There is also a LIFETIME licence too! And it’s so reasonable you would be missing out BIG TIME to turn it down especially once all the other fantastic eagerly awaited features are implemented in future. It’s not often I get excited about apps on the AppStore, but this is one of those apps you will use for life and it’s like having a magic genie in your pocket to show you where your items are! Well done on a fantastic app. Keep up the good work.

**Developer response:** Thank you for your amazing review! We're thrilled to hear that Itemlist meets your needs so perfectly. It's wonderful to know you find it both powerful and user-friendly. We're committed to continuously improving the app and appreciate your excitement about our future features. Your feedback about our pricing and customer focus truly means a lot to us. Rest assured, we'll keep working hard to provide the best service and experience possible. Thank you for choosing Itemlist as your go-to inventory solution!

### 5/5 — Perfect

*2024-02-12, version 1.8*

Love the app- very powerful and must have for organizing your home inventory. This app is literally a life saving .

### 5/5 — Actually worth the money

*2023-09-30, version 1.7*

I never write reviews until something really stands out and this is one of those inventory apps that does. Also, Support is on point when it comes to helping out with any issues.

### 5/5 — Easy To Use App, Responsive & Reactive Developer!

*2023-07-01, version 1.6*

Absolutely worth the money.
Developer customer service is honest, responsive and reactive!
I love the updates you’ve been making, I hope the best for your application development and success!

### 5/5 — Literally a life saver if you have ADHD or just struggle to stay organized

*2023-06-17, version 1.6*

I’ve never left an App Store review before but I just have to say that this is the best invention for my ADHD that I’ve ever found. Literally I’ve always said “I wish I could search my brain for where I put stuff” AND HERE IT IS. genius. Other people might not appreciate it as much as I do, but being someone who constantly buys stuff that I already have and continue to get clutter, it makes me so happy. Appreciate this app and its makers so much. I know this will be helpful for when I move too because I can use it for boxes to know what’s in them ugh it’s PERFECT.
