The content is great but…… if you want to read the magazine on a plane or train you are out of luck. Whilst it gives you the ability to download for offline reading, if you go offline it still wants to check your subscription. If you somehow get passed this it’s downloaded the text but no images. The images try to load by connecting to the internet but if offline makes it incredibly slow and flakey. Please fix urgently Before this last upgrade it was a pretty good representation of the real magazine. The app however is dreadful, feels like something from 10 years ago. Furthermore, and even worse, if you want to read a linked article, it takes you to a web page asking you to login, without any option to use your Apple subscription…basically meaning you can’t read it! ### 1/5 — Cancellation *2021-04-19, version 18.0* Why am I unable to cancel? I can find no way to do so - the only option is to take out a weekly subscription. I live in a rural area so have to go out of my way to purchase a physical copy and I’m not going to subscribe as I don’t have a need for this publication every week. Thought the app was a solution to my circumstances but unfortunately it’s not fit for this purpose. ### 1/5 — Delivered magazine to wrong address *2022-07-14* After numerous messages lasting over 6 months and even sending their support multiple screenshots of my address (that they have on my registration) I have not managed to get any subscriptions posted to my address. 6 months worth of paid subscriptions all delivered to my old house. From Investment trusts to shares. Individual commentaries and sector analysis. The investors Chronicle keeps you more informed. Phil Oakley joining the magazine as a columnist was a master stroke and I love reading his articles. I bought Simon Thompson’s and John Baron’s books to understand how they choose companies and investment trusts - all of which are worth reading.
