Forgotten has an “E” it’s not “Forgotton”. That’s already a No from me. ### 2/5 — Interface good when In but buggy often can’t load properly *2023-03-20, version 4.4.5* Seems to often not work, issues loading etc. have had to delete and reinstall multiple times ### 1/5 — Good financial content but Pathetic app *2022-06-02, version 4.4.5* The app is pathetically bad. After the last update I have to log out and then log in again every time I reopen the app otherwise it won’t show me the stock members content . Links to past articles always take you to a page that assumes that you are not a member and won’t let you read it. The “show” and “sort by” drop down boxes in the recos are black with black text so you can’t even tell what’s selected. I assume that’s because you have a badly implemented night mode and your dev just hardkeyed in the box colour. I’m not renewing my subscription because the app is just that bad… Did you get the app developed via fiverr for a couple hundred $ or something? A decent junior developer could build you something better than this. ### 2/5 — Takes over your speakers *2022-03-08, version 4.4.5* I don’t mind this app but it’s annoying to be listening to music and check my portfolio and have my music stop playing because investsmart takes over my speakers for no good reason. It would be fair enough if I was going to listen to a podcast or something. ### 4/5 — Useful App *2020-07-21, version 4.0.3* This app gives you good mobile access to InvestSMART services. I’m a subscriber to InvestSMART and use the app a lot, but non-subscribers may find they are locked out of some content. This review was updated for version 4.0.3 ### 1/5 — New version keeps locking me out *2020-05-23, version 3.8.2* I’ve been a user of the app for a few years, but this latest version has locked me out twice so far. The only way I can log back in is to delete app and download again. ### 1/5 — Useless Waste of Time *2020-03-25, version 3.6.2* Without doubt the most incompetently developed app I have ever encountered. Does not function. AVOID. ### 1/5 — Most confusing and user unfriendly app *2020-02-21, version 3.5.2* I signed up for a 15 day free trial. Nothing opens and a pop up appears which implies a 15 day trial sign up is needed for each of the three sections of the app, Investsmart, Intelligent Investor and Eureka Report. But it won’t allow you to agree to the terms. Even the section I signed up to won’t allow you to access the content to check it out - except to say it will will cost $700 plus per annum to access it. Is that one fee or x 3 for each section? The 15 day trial has only confirmed in my mind that it’s not worth $700 to know what AK or PC or the other contributors think. It’s so disappointing- I have other subscriptions like Motley Fool and Simply Wall Street and I’m actively seeking a better or complimentary platform and alas - as good as this platform may turn out to be I’m not going to pay a subscription when I can’t get the App to allow decent navigation of its functions during a trial period. Then it's asking me to subscribe to premium which I already have. I was also signed up for their mailing list, with no unsubscribe button and no way to stop the spam. Avoid! ### 1/5 — Badly written email validator *2018-07-22, version 2.0.8* If you have an email address that isn’t a usual extension like .eu don’t bother installing as the developers haven’t used a correct validator. If they can’t get the registration page correct who knows what other issues there is with it, but then I wouldn’t know as I couldn’t register! ### 1/5 — Junk *2018-06-30, version 2.0.8* It's a scam .... app not working just steals your info like email and phone number ...... then they call you and email you after ### 1/5 — No longer opens *2018-04-15, version 2.0.3* The app was fine but now it no longer opens on my iPhone. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Buggy App *2025-01-27, version 5.1.3* The app is pretty much buggy; it keeps on logging me out time to time and I have to get opt and login details back to back. Few of the times are that when I am browsing through also it logged me out. ### 1/5 — Used to be great *2024-12-23, version 5.1.3* This app used to be fantastic. It had the portfolio, Intelligent Investor and the Eureka Report all in the one spot. Another bug that has appeared is now every time I use the app (even from the previous day) you have to re-login. Please can the app be restored to its previous functionality or some explanation given? They clearly did not ask any PMA holders or InvestSmart subscribers for feedback. In this version, Portfolios are gone, account management and view is gone, Intelligent investor / Eureka report subscription is gone, recommendations are gone, a nice interface yup that’s also gone. PMA is the only thing left. The all in one functionality of version 4 is no more. App deleted. Avoid this mess and use a web browser. ### 1/5 — Update no longer shows portfolio *2024-09-15, version 5.0.0* Will be deleting as since the update all I get is a news feed ### 1/5 — Useful Functionality Lost in Latest Version *2024-09-13, version 5.0.0* I used the app daily and had all information in one place. Now that the latest version only shows Investsmart portfolios and not my portfolios anymore it has become useless to me. I got the advice to use the web application instead, but on mobile it does not show My Portfolio either. Well, at least the leftover functionality looks pretty. Pretty, but pointless. I call that a total product management failure. What a bunch of clowns to ruin a great app. ### 1/5 — Ver 5.0.0 update *2024-09-13, version 5.0.0* DO NOT UPDATE to to V5.0.0!! Just about all functionality has gone. Only function left is to displays InvestSmart portfolio. Looks and feels very clunky. Kudos to the company and the developers for this outstanding app. ### 5/5 — Australia’s Best Investment App *2018-01-14, version 1.1.2* This app is FREE and amazing for managing my share portfolio. I also subscribed to the research for a deal they had on for $550 per year and I am so happy with the high quality share research, share education articles, economic articles, investment strategies and insights from industry experts. I am going to invest in there Aussie Small Companies Fund it’s doing so well up 29% since last February ### 5/5 — Excellent research and portfolio manager *2018-01-11, version 1.1.2* The app allows me to access research and track my portfolio on the go. ### 5/5 — Handy app! *2018-01-05, version 1.1.1* Am able to check stock prices & movements quickly.
