Invoice is a locally-developed app that enables Australian and New Zealand businesses with a valid ABN or IRD/GST number that currently create quotes or invoices with pen and paper and calculator to digitally create and print, SMS or email Tax Invoices and Quotes. Invoice speeds up invoice and quote creation, reduces errors, improves productivity in the invoice creation process and therefore reduces the next customer's waiting time. By scanning barcodes - with iDevice camera or some bluetooth scanners - or entering item codes with fast lookup and allowing the iDevice to retrieve descriptions and prices and to perform all the calculations, errors and subsequent re-keying are reduced and the whole sale-finalisation process is faster. The customer receives a legible Quote or Tax Invoice where the numbers add up. This in turn reduces the next customer's waiting time. • Store parts or items with their codes, description, price, optional barcode, unit of sale e.g. each, hour, meter, bushel etc • Prices can be marked as ex-GST, including GST or GST-free • Use a barcode scanner when adding parts or items to an invoice or quote • Invoices can be printed with prices shown including GST or excluding GST. GST included in the total or added to the subtotal is clearly shown. • Wirelessly print the invoice or send it to the customer via email or SMS • Mark an invoice as paid via Cash, Cheque, Credit Card or Bank Transfer • Store customers and their addresses, email, and phone number. Each customer can also have its own regular discount applied to the pre-GST total. • Search for Invoices or Quotes by customer name or address • Send bulk emails to selected or all customers. If you don't enter it in it crashes. **Developer response:** The app description says it requires an ABN. It seems to be only for customers of Venthoop Pty Limited, not for someone who just wants to create simple service invoices?? It seems that to obtain a full-functional 30-day Trial License, you have to follow the instructions on the alert that appears when the application starts. A license is supposed to be made available as soon as possible??? No "Real" cost advertised to make the app fully functional after the 30 day trial. ### 1/5 — Don't bother *2012-06-22* Yes it's free, but you can't just use it. You have to get a trial password from them. I get the demo for free which has limited features but enough to get a feel for it, and then I could buy the full version. I don't want to have to contact people and have to wait for them to get back to me.
