### 5/5 — Yes!! Love this innovative take on weight understanding!

*2025-09-05, version 6.6.2*

I have been using the Invoy program for a little over 4 months now and I have learned a lot about how MY body “burns” food. Whatever the numbers are on the device you can see a pattern form based on what you have eaten the day before. They don’t want you to track everything you eat but be conscious of your choices so that you can learn what causes your body to burn fat and what doesn’t. It isn’t an overnight fix it is a tool to learn what makes your body tick. For example. The hard fast rule for loosing weight “they” say is don’t eat after 7 or 8pm. Well I can eat my favorite airpopped popcorn however I want to make it up whatever time I want to eat it as long as I have eaten enough greens and stayed away from sugars and kept low on carbs. I believe it’s the dietary fiber that helps out in the popcorn. If I am ever going on a trip or stuck on something my amazing analyst gives great suggestions or reminders on how to stay hydrated and tells me it’s ok to eat treats because I will be getting so many steps in moving around on my vacation. It really is a great program but you have to want to learn about yourself. You have to NOT want to count calories and write down everything you eat. That said, yes, the first two weeks you need to know what you ate so you can have a baseline idea. You do need to keep that somewhere other than the app because this app is non judgmental and is not tracking your every piece of food. This is a lifetime journey program. Love it.

### 5/5 — Top notch customer service

*2023-08-15, version 6.4.1*

We got this through my husband’s company, I signed up Not expecting much and have been
Blown away. the app is so easy to use, it’s quick & helpful but the support staff is what makes it so magical. They’re responsive, knowledgeable, and go way above and beyond. So so impressed

### 2/5 — I clearly don’t get it…

*2023-06-08, version 6.3.3*

You “baseline” for the first 14 days with a goal to get to a score of 4.0, but there is practically no information available to you about the score. I took two tests one day within 5 mins of each other, my score varied by more than 1.0. I am supposed to eat restricted carbs/green foods, but there is no place to log foods. The suggested food options within the app are very limited. The final straw though was the device itself, it only worked the first time once requiring me to use multiple pods each day. Today I gave up after 4 attempts…I don’t even really understand what is being “baselined” and I read all the material available.

### 2/5 — Pros and Cons: See Below

*2023-05-01, version 6.3.1*

So my employer was offering 6 months free to try Invoy. At first, I was very intrigued by this new way to achieve weight loss and a healthier lifestyle. The idea is reducing your carbs so your body will burn more fat cells than carbs when it needs energy. In the first 14 days you are asked to reduce your carb intake to less than 20g a day. You can eat as much fatty foods or exceptionally low carb ones you just need to keep it near 20g for 14 days. Below I’ll highlight the pros and cons I found from this system

Pros:
1. Teaches you what foods are low in carbs and high in good fats to eat

2. If you can maintain less than 20g of carbs during the 14 days you’ll learn how awesome it is to not have insulin highs and lows brought on by carbs

3. Guaranteed to lose weight during the 14 day period as carbs become secondary to burning fat cells

Cons:
1. Sensor can be finicky to get it to start analyzing your breath results. I wasted several breath test due to it not analyzing my results properly even after following their steps verbatim

2. Coaches are in California and if you live on the East Coast, you’ll only get a response or two a day so they aren’t really coaching you in real time

3. Fat burning scale seems to be heavily influenced by how hard you blow. The harder I blew, the higher my score was. This was especially concerning after having 2 days of lots of carbs and then proceeding to blow the highest fat burning score I had up to that point of a 6.9. As a point of reference, you aim for around 4.0 and no, I had not done any extensive exercising the previous two days.

Conclusion:
I think the concept is intriguing and I do feel overall much better and have lost weight during my 14 day low carb diet as a result of the information they provided; however, I do not believe the sensor is very accurate and the coaching (or lack of) does not justify a price tag of $40 a month. I also find the reviews on here suspicious considering one of the “5 Star” reviews was written by a staff member.

I am so impressed with Invoy and their system. For once, I am actually losing weight! My personal coach is wonderful and our communication is so easy, the app is super user friendly. I use Invoy first thing in the morning so an easy, robust app is necessary for me when I am just waking up. I have tried so many programs and finally, I have found the one that works for me. ### 5/5 — Really helps guide my weight loss

*2021-02-18, version 6.0.10*

While it takes a day or two getting used to, I’ve come accustomed to start my day with the breath test. Their coaches are super helpful on guiding me to the best options. I finally feel in control.

### 5/5 — The app seems very well done, but just one thing.

*2020-12-01, version 6.0.1*

Limiting weight input to 400 lbs is not good enough for some of us. This should be increased.
