## What is InWriting?

InWriting is a document ledger for the household records you need to keep: bills, agreements, renewals, receipts, warranties, and more.

Add a document and InWriting helps you:

• Remember what the record says
• Compare related records and see what changed
• Keep due dates, renewals, and other dates in view
• Trace useful facts back to their source
• Keep your own notes and schedules beside the records they concern

Keep your records

Keep the source record beside the useful facts taken from it. InWriting preserves the distinction between the document, what it says, and the notes you add yourself.

Learn when changes happen

Compare related records with clear Was and Now values. Each side remains tied to its source, so a change is not separated from the evidence behind it.

Know what's upcoming

See due dates, renewals, expected bills, and other future dates without treating every date as the same kind of event.

See where it came from

Open a useful fact and return to the page that supports it. InWriting is designed to preserve provenance rather than turn extracted text into unsupported certainty.

Always private

Your documents stay on your device. InWriting has no account, no developer-operated cloud service, no cloud sync, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking. Documents are encrypted in the app’s private storage.

What InWriting reports

InWriting reports what your records contain and what differs between them. It does not judge whether a price is fair, a document is safe, or an obligation has been paid. Always use the original record and qualified advice when a decision requires them.
