### 4/5 — Great app but..

*2024-10-25, version 5.3*

Wonderful app! Been using it for years connecting to a WiFi elm327 dongle with an older bmw and Audi . Dtc read and clear works
Live data works
But tried it with a 2019 Mercedes and while everything including live data works great
But
When I try to read dtc code , app crashes 😭

Any help?

Thanks

### 4/5 — Motores

*2023-10-24, version 5.3*

Motores

### 3/5 — Not a bad code reader

*2021-08-24, version 5.3*

Would be nice if it showed live data like live misfires. Also frustrating to get the Bluetooth to sync up sometimes

### 4/5 — Has in app purchase to get dashboard

*2021-08-17, version 5.3*

Connected ok to my Wi-Fi interface. Allowed me to reset code relating to engine warning light. I would rather the description said exactly what it does and does not do. Happy to pay 10 to $20 for a better app that does more without needing in app purchase. Even a $10 annual subscription for an all singing app.

### 3/5 — Old app

*2021-07-17, version 5.3*

Doesn’t go past 2016!!

### 4/5 — Still works with iOS 14.6! … hasn’t been updated in 5 years though …

*2021-06-17, version 5.3*

Surprisingly still working with iOS 14.6!, (2021), even though the app hasn’t been updated in 5 years :(

Was recently getting frequent “Connection Failure” type messages, but discovered that turning OFF Bluetooth, even though I only use WiFi connection to my inexpensive generic ELM327 OBD2 WiFi only device… It Still WORKS! : but for some reason iOS only supports WiFi connectivity on genert ELM327 OBD2 readers.

This free app version does ~90% of what other paid version apps do: though mostly I just need it to pull/wipe Codes, monitor Idle RPMs, test readiness diagnostics, and air/water temps.

Of course using the ‘Dashboard’ on test drives, the Diagnostics and Performance screens, and perusing my custom dashboards also, gives me all the basics (and more) to troubleshoot problems, and monitor the success of my repairs etc.

Thank you to the developer for having made such a nice little free tool that still works correctly with my generic ELM327, even though my late 90’s project cars are technically too old to be on the modern supported databases of most newer paid reader apps!

### 2/5 — Work but needs software update- sos

*2021-04-24, version 5.3*

Been using for three years with little to no issue then due to recent iOS updates wouldnt work. then update came out program loads but wont work 8/10 attempts making it nearly worthless. Hv re installed so many times nothing helps.

### 2/5 — 14.2 iso

*2020-11-07, version 5.3*

Are you going to make compatible with apple?

### 2/5 — Not working on beta iOS 14

*2020-10-07, version 5.3*

Needs update

### 2/5 — Update

*2020-03-30, version 5.3*

Hello an app update would be very appreciated it's been more than three years since the app was not updated thanks good day.

### 3/5 — Good Diagnostic Tool but now crashes

*2020-03-26, version 5.3*

The diagnostic tool work really well. Best I had found but now crashes on launch. No other operating system will work with my tool except for this one. Bought a new (different) one but it’s terrible.

I hope someone will fix the crash issue so that I can use the tool again.

### 4/5 — No update over 2years

*2020-03-02, version 5.3*

The app doing cool but not fully optimised to newer iPhones. Needs more frequent update! And I’m expecting more PIDs to cover in the next update?

### 1/5 — Garbage

*2019-05-22, version 5.3*

Garbage. Complete garbage. Never works. Or let me correcto myself. Works about 5% of the time. Always with failure connection issues and what not. Waste of money

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work

*2019-05-20, version 5.3*

Doesn’t work, no support.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work

*2025-10-13, version 5.3*

Didn’t even work, no updates waste of time.

### 1/5 — App quit working

*2024-03-17, version 5.3*

Ever time I click the trouble code tab it closes the app !!

### 1/5 — Tried multiple times- unable to connect iPhone, 14 pro

*2023-04-17, version 5.3*

Unable to connect to the BT device, mind you this is the app that was recommended by the Bluetooth connector. Piece of junk.

### 1/5 — Looks nice

*2023-02-19, version 5.3*

Expensive to find out, no DPF clearing option!

### 1/5 — Fails to connect.

*2023-01-07, version 5.3*

Another review that echos what many of the others here have said - the app no longer connects to the dongles making it an expensive piece of plastic. Definitely seems like a bit of a take your money and run kind of deal - noting the app is free, but the dongle to connect to was fairly pricey.

### 1/5 — Device says failed to connect but

*2022-03-09, version 5.3*

The app tells me it has failed to connect but the device somehow knows it’s connected to my 2.0 litre petrol Mazda.
Either it has failed to connect and knows nothing or it knows it is connected but the app just does not work.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t support j1850 vpw

*2021-11-15, version 5.3*

Totally bummed because the app crashes and won’t support j1850 vpw protocol. Threw my money away on their iobd2mini dongle and can’t get it to work probably because of the app.

### 1/5 — No connection

*2020-10-10, version 5.3*

I plug my odb2 into my iPad Pro. My iPad Pro recognizes the obd2 when plugged in. Does not say anywhere it’s just for Bluetooth connection use. Update the app, your software is outdated

### 1/5 — seldom connects

*2019-06-25, version 5.3*

I have no idea why it (almost) never connects. Neither does the internet.
Calling this a waste of money - probably just because the docs do not exist, or maybe because it just doesn’t work. Who knows?
Strongly recommend to NOT BUY.

### 1/5 — WILL NOT CONNECT

*2019-06-11, version 5.3*

Hasn’t had an update in years. Product was working fine then came iOS7 now it's just crap my Wifi not Bluetooth device won't even connect anymore some I've got a $50 little white box that does nothing.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Worked perfectly

*2021-03-10, version 5.3*

Give all the reading I needed to check in my Infiniti. Top quality product for the price. One slight downside is it will clear codes but does notnecessarily clear the ECU of all trouble. For this I would recommend something like a CR PRO or icarsoft product etc. But great for Bluetooth and real time data.

### 5/5 — Best free OBD II app I’ve found

*2020-08-09, version 5.3*

I’ve tried many. Some don’t connect to my hardware, this one does. No crashes like a previous review mentioned. And most of all, it allows me to clear a fault code. Most free ones don’t do that. Very happy. Gave it 5 stars.

### 5/5 — Great, Free

*2020-06-28, version 5.3*

Only OBD app that is free to read engine codes!

### 5/5 — Great app. Works well on my car.

*2020-03-29, version 5.3*

Very useful, free app. Works well with my ELM327 ODB2 adapter over Wi-Fi. I’ve used it on my present car and two previous makes of car over the years to check and clear trouble codes. Impressive! 🙂

### 5/5 — A tremendous Tool for Free

*2020-02-04, version 5.3*

This tool worked fantastic. I use it for monitoring Fuel Trim and other engine data that control performance. It is far more than a “dumb” coder reader/resettled. It is important however to set the WiFi settings on your phone to insure reliable connection. This setting seems to lacking on most of the set up instructions.

Use 192.168.0.123 for the manual address setting and the scanner device host as ELM327. You should have no issues connecting!!

### 5/5 — Good scan tool does it work on apple carplay ?

*2020-02-02, version 5.3*

Works great kn all the cars I’ve used it for Just wondering if its capable of being used with apple carplay would be good to have diagnostics etc on the screen on my media player ....

### 5/5 — Great tool

*2017-11-26, version 5.3*

Works on VW Audi Mini and Rav4 so far with no problems.

### 5/5 — Best free app ever

*2017-08-08, version 5.3*

Guys I saved £13.99 as I was going to pay for EOBD - Facile basic app but this free app is exactly same as basic of above EOBD app for free.

### 5/5 — IOS 10.3.2 working for me.

*2017-06-08, version 5.3*

Had trouble at first. Contacted the eBay seller and they walked me thru it.
I have the iOBD2 "MINI".
Once that was figured out it seems to be working fine.

### 5/5 — Works quickly and clears codes

*2016-11-04, version 5.3*

Connected to my wifi ELM327 and was able to clear codes in seconds. Does exactly what I need it to
