Today I called the customer service contact number and this is juat horrible. The person answering the call just assumes that I know Hindi and starts the conversation in the language. When I admonish her how she can assume that then comes the apology saying that she would transfer the call to an English speaking agent but just disconnected the call. Next time another person said the same and then came back after couple of minutes saying that there is mo one available and asked me to call later. I just don’t understand how can this happen at the so called ‘reputable bank’ link IOB or is it happening just because it is IOB where customer is just another commodity?
