Hopefully they will get it together and fix this app. It will not update wifi to camera. Tells me battery low even when it's showing 100%. Frustrating but see potential here. (For people looking to buy ion) the ion wifi does not need Internet connection !!!! The wifi pod is its own wifi module that you can connect to directly. I got an Air Pro 2 and the adventure, it is by far faster and more reliable than before. ### 5/5 — Works great, update cam firmware = good to go *2013-05-18, version 3.5* It's a five minute one-time setup and you're off and filming. Update camera firmware and wifi podz firmware (mine came with the latest update) from the ion website, switch my ipad from home wifi network to the podz network and it worked fine. No delay, no skipping. Love the stream feature to watch vids I've just shot. The wifi drains the battery on the camera fairly quick so I really only use it for setting up the angle and checking clips, but I'm sure start doing more straight to Facebook uploads once I start shooting more interesting stuff. Probably some stuff I'm missing on the feature list, but for my purposes this thing works great. ### 5/5 — New App is great *2012-09-08, version 3.11.1* The new app is fast and lots of great adjustments on the fly... Really easy to use. Uploads and processes faster also... The camers are also the best ones on the market for sure. Light small...
