## What is Ion Thruster?

Against overwhelming odds, use your multi-touch skill and awesome fire power to defeat waves of heavily armed and intelligent aliens, protect your precious cargo pods and collect the crystals you need to survive. Look out for stars, black holes and orbiting meteoroids! 

Ion Thruster is a retro-inspired but uniquely styled game designed especially for iOS devices. The intuitive and customisable control mechanism utilises your device's full screen area to provide pinpoint accuracy for aiming your weapons and guiding your ship. 

Ion Thruster uses real physics to model collisions, thrust, gravity, and the forces between connected objects (play the game to find out more!) 

The full version includes: 
- All 20 free levels plus 80 more that will challenge even the most experienced player 
- 4 Arcade Game Modes: Retrieve Pods; Defeat Aliens; Protect Pods; Destroy Meteoroids 
- 3 Arcade difficulty settings 
- High-scores recorded for each level and arcade game mode 
- 3 Upgrades to collect: Enhanced Shield; Extra Thrust; Triple Fire 
- Customisable control layout - match the control layout to the way you hold your device 
- Play in landscape or portrait orientation 
- 10 different Alien types to defeat, including bosses and super-bosses!

Ion Thruster is inspired by the arcade games I loved playing when I was a teenager. See if you can spot them all - some are more obvious than others!
