A rigorously accurate and totally flexible simulation. You can create some beautiful patterns quite easily. All around fun, and definitely worth the money. If I could make any changes, I would add arrow controls to the field pop-up controls for fine editing of the strength of the attract or repel, when playing with ions on low speeds I sometimes take 5-10 uneccesary minutes fine tuning the strength of the field. also, allowing for a raise of the ion cap would be fantastic. Test out the true capabilities, because even at 20k ion bits, the graphical abilities of the iPad don't show any strain. Otherwise, Keep It Up!!! ### 5/5 — An excellent app! *2011-05-24, version 1.1.1* I'm not quite sure how I stumbled upon this app, but I am glad that I did. I have spent hours playing with the app, mainly trying to come up with complex patterns that keep the ions from leaving the screen (when they leave, they disappear until the emitter releases a replacement). It's an app that's full of eye-candy but has some nice physics involved. Also, to top it off, the developer is very helpful. I recommend this app to everyone I know and show it off to my friends as often as I can. Amazing presets and themes. This app is potentially one of the top 5 creative apps in the AppStore if you could:  Duplicate fields and emitters.  Choose particle's fading distance.  Link or group fields and emitters.  Modify, snap to and toggle a grid (polar or rectangular) for accuracy.  Toggle fields and emitters' visibility once you're done.  Choose a background image. ### 3/5 — Good to start *2011-03-22, version 1.1* A decent app and entertaining when you first get it so it easily impresses from the start.
