## What is IONTO?

Music is probably the highest form of communication that humanity has created. Moods, memories, feelings—all of this is contained in music. But it can do even more: music therapy successfully applies music and sound in the treatment of a wide variety of health disorders. Especially in today's world, treatments that maintain or improve the right balance between tension and revitalization are becoming increasingly important. The right music not only leads to well-being and relaxation, but also to positive changes. For example, the concentration of stress hormones is reduced and the 'feel-good hormone' oxytocin is released more strongly. The effect of music can be further enhanced when the component of bone conduction (body-conducted sound) is added to airborne sound. In this process, music is transmitted to the body through a specific medium. While the internal organs function as resonating chambers, our muscles are set into vibration, and even our skin conveys deep tones to us as vibrations through its sensitive receptors. This symbolizes the foundation of our IONTO-SPA Evolution.
