There is zero swipe function which is not intuitive at all, you would think that swipe when on camera would go to next camera as the layout dictates. And a up or down swipe would go back to thumbnails. All the icons need updating, AI could create those in a few minutes. Outside of that it shows cameras, many different brands. ### 2/5 — Solid app that has been effectively abandoned *2026-05-15, version 4.0.5* I’ve used IP Cam Viewer Pro for years and it was one of the best universal IP camera viewers on iOS — great RTSP/ONVIF support, lots of camera drivers, and the developer used to be very responsive. Unfortunately, the last update was February 2024 (version 4.0.5). Since then: • No new camera support • The support forum is gone/404 • No replies to support emails • Patreon and website are quiet The app still works fine for the cameras it already supports, but if you have newer hardware, need iOS 18/19 compatibility fixes, or run into any bugs, you’re on your own. It feels like the developer has moved on without any notice. If you only need basic viewing of older cameras it’s still usable, but buyers should know active development and support have stopped. It is my goto app fir camera monitoring. The only problem is that it only seems to allow one Ring camera of each type - one doorbell and one stick-up cam. It would be great if this limitation was removed. ### 3/5 — Slow frame rate *2023-11-02, version 4.0.4* Multicam view frame rate is very slow. I am not sure if the app uses hardware decoding or not but my hikvision app displays 16 cameras at once with 15fps each. Merci de faire le correctif. ### 5/5 — Used for a decade *2023-03-27, version 4.0.2* I have use this app for at least a decade and many many cameras, and never had a serious issue. Robert has been responsive in his support in the past when I needed it, and every camera that I have connected to has worked. I have only recently started using Apple devices, and the app works just as flawlessly on them as it has on my Android for so many years. Good job Robert, and I hope this app never goes away. ### 4/5 — Top für meine Kameras aber leider fehlt die automatische Abschaltung *2023-03-04* Ich nutze den IP Cam Viewer Pro auf einen Wand iPad als Kameraüberwachung und habe eine automation, dass das iPad nur einschaltet, wenn jemand im Raum ist. Das funktioniert auch super, nur leider verhindert der IP CamViewer Pro die automatische Abschaltung nach einigen Minuten. Die Systemeinstellungen diesbezüglich werden leider ignoriert. Wenn man das einstellen könnte dann gibts auch den 5 Stern ### 2/5 — Nur noch Nostalgie *2023-02-26* Die App hatte lange Zeit wirklich gute Dienste geleistet. Nicht zuletzt, weil sie einer der letzten Programme war, die unter iOS5.1 lief. So konnte man seine alte Hardware perfekt als Monitor verwenden. Bis eines Tages die App von iOS9 abhängig gemacht wurde. Völlig sinnlos, denn die App hat sich nicht verändert, es werden nur Cam-Daten erneuert. Alle anderen Funktionen sind wie unter iOS5.1 bekannt geblieben. Also bin ich auf tinyCAM weg von iOS umgestiegen und habe diese App nur aus Nostalgie im gleichnamigem Ordner. ### 3/5 — h.view NVR and IP Cams *2023-02-09, version 4.0.1* I don’t see the option to add H.VIEW NVR and IP cameras. As simple as it is, but I would really love for the creator of it to add camera per page, so that way you can scroll and load other, other feature I would add is to add a red outline in the camera that detects movement and the final one I would add is to change the to a different black one. I think this app really has potential, the best app after Live Cams Pro, that sadly isn’t in the App Store anymore, but with some improvement, this app could be THE BEST ONE OF THEM ALL. Aktuell habe ich das iPhone 14 Pro. Als Beispiel, meine ganzen Foscam Cam‘s. In der App steht ständig „Loading“ Es dauert mindestens 30 Sekunden und teilweise auch deutlich länger oder teils gar nicht bis mal ein ruckelndes Bild zustande kommt. An mir und den Einstellungen liegt es definitiv nicht. Die originale FosCam App geöffnet und die Cam‘s sind innerhalb weniger Millisekunden mit Livebild zu sehen. Mittlerweile kann ich nur noch abraten sich mit dieser App rum zu ärgern. Was früher ging ist heute eine Katastrophe. There’s no way of scanning the network to find cameras like so many other apps, but instead you have to manually enter camera name, model type, and technical details for each camera. No thanks. IP Cam Viewer beinhaltet beides. Zuerst Router mit Lan verbinden. IP cam viewer App starten und Lan Cam Produkt auswählen ( werden sehr viele Marken unterstützt) und User / PW für die Cam eingeben. Cam in App auswählen und verbinden. Dann im Menü auf Lounch Cam Url klicken. Es öffnet sich die Browsereite der Camera! (Je nach Cam auch SSL)Super. Hier kannst du ein neues PW für die Cam vergeben ( standard ist oft admin). Das ist dann auch das neue PW der Url. Aufnahmen als jpg, mp4 alles einstellbar und auf dem Handy in Fotos oder per Email ( auch FTP ) gesichert. Die Cam braucht dann nur noch eine Steckdose für das Netzteil. 5,99€ voll OK. Ich will nur kein Abonnement. It wrks 100% every time I use it. Even my suggestion to add real time picture control adjustment. If you’re having issues seeing or controlling a camera the issue is most likely something is set up incorrectly on the camera or app (operator error) or the camera is not listed in the tested known to work camera list. I’ve been using this app for nearly 10 yrs. and have never had an issue. it’s connected to any camera I’ve throw at it & simply works. If I had any suggestions to improve the app I would say (if it’s technically possible) interface the camera picture controls of the cameras allowing the user to adjust brightness, contrast, etc. would be helpful.
