The app absolutely cannot see the FTP server. FTP server logs suggest the app is using an older FTP stack that has been abandoned as the logs never see the IP Camera Pro trying to authenticate. I tried a few FTP servers and 2 PCs LAN-connected & 2 iPhones. “AI” took me thru 3 days of non-stop rabbit holes in a failed effort to resolve. I might know the GUI better than the developer, now. ### 4/5 — Great app and one request… *2025-02-16* Great app ! I only use the camera server mode for my needs. The camera is added as a source in wire cast, along with three other cameras. My only complaint about this app is the lack of manual focus. The camera will auto focus several times a minute, and this can be very distracting. This will allow better possibilities with homekit motion accessories using the “Homebridge Camera FFmpeg” plugin. Please add the ability to send an http request when motion is detected. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Disappointed… *2026-07-20* Lite version seemed OK and Pro version says it supports family sharing so I purchased the app only to find that I cannot download it onto my partners iPhone without paying. We have everything correctly configured and the website is not help, and the only option Apple offer is to request a refund or report fraud. Diese App ist allerdings sowas von instabil, es gibt ständig Probleme! Es braucht 3 bis 4 Anläufe, damit überhaupt die Kamera öffnet, andernfalls schließt sie gleich wieder mit ner Fehlermeldung. Und wenn man dann endlich Zugriff hat, stürzt die Ansicht bzw. die Kamera immer in unterschiedlichen Intervallen ab u man befindet sich wieder in der Übersicht. Leider bin ich auf diese miserable App angewiesen, da man darüber auch aufnehmen kann. Also can be used to live stream to Facebook, YouTube, Twitch and other services that support a RTMP, I tried it and it worked very well. Only problem with this app is, what are the URL’s for the camera feeds? The app shows the IP but not the full URLs that are required to work with IP camera software. For example I found ‘http://IP:Port/video’ works but without this properly documented the app is very limited. Still the best IP camera app available. I’ve played with all current streaming camera app’s I could find and this is the one I’m currently using. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Love the app but it has problem *2025-06-26, version 11.1.8* Love the app and it works great. Almost… I hope developer will notice this review. So I have 2 iPhones running the app in IP camera server mode. It works great for several hours, but then at some point I can’t connect to cameras anymore. When I check the app on the phones - it still running seemingly normally, but when I try to connect from any other phone or from PC - it doesn’t connect. The only way to fix this is to “force-close” and restart the app on the phone, then it works again for next several hours until it again stops and you have to force close and restart the app again. So yes i did buy the App. Keep-up the work .The server part add a nice extra feature to test YouTube upload . Last version 10.8.5 crash ( do not open ) Demo version do the same thing once you download to try it was working before .
