Found all my cameras. Seems to be that all my images are clear and works with odd camera configuration cameras like Reolink Duo. Problem that they need to add is a format arrangement of the views on AppleTv. There is no clear way to do it. A simple hold click and arrange control seems like the next logical step to a simple problem. **Developer response:** Thank you so much for your feedback! Also the UI is pretty awkward, there’s arrow buttons on the stream in app at all times, and it doesn’t respond to phone orientation **Developer response:** Thank you for taking the time to write us a review - we really appreciate it. People usually say good things about our stream resolution - so it's concerning that a high res stream is being displayed blurry. Cam Hero is primarily designed to work locally, when both the app and the camera are connected to the same network. This ensures fast, private streaming without requiring an internet connection. To view your cameras remotely, we offer a "Remote Viewing" feature inside the app, with the requirement that you use a second device running Cam Hero as a hub (second device must to connected to same network as the cameras). Another option is to configure port forwarding directly on your camera or NVR hardware (or use a free VPN like Tailscale) and use Cam Hero as usual to view your cameras when away. When I add the NVR it only shows me the first camera. I can’t see the cameras directly because the NVR is hiding them behind a bridge. Total waste of time. ### 5/5 — A great app with even better support! *2025-05-20* I’ve been testing several apps to tile 4 or more RTSP camera streams for display on our Apple TVs. My goal was to give my wife and babysitters an easy way to monitor our security cameras on the LAN — without needing to log into our camera management platform or fiddle with user accounts. Most apps either didn’t handle substreams well, lacked proper grid views, or had clunky interfaces. Cam Hero stood out immediately. Not only does it look and function great, but it also worked reliably with our setup. I finally stopped searching and purchased the lifetime license — it just worked that well. I did hit a bug initially (blank “My Cameras” screen with more than 4 cameras), but the developer, Rex, responded quickly, reproduced the issue, and rolled out a fix within a few days. That level of support is rare. Since then, the app’s been smooth and the 4x4 grid view is exactly what we needed. I’ve even shared feedback and a feature suggestion and it’s clear the developer genuinely listens. That alone made the purchase worth it. If you’re looking for a simple, polished, and actively supported way to view RTSP streams on Apple TV, iPhone and Mac; this is the one to get. ### 5/5 — Tolles App! *2025-05-11, version 0.6* Habe lange nach so einer App gesucht. If your camera settings change at all, in terms of port, url, etc., you would have to delete the camera in this app and re-add it with all the information again.
