Shortly after I was unable to use. No refund, not able to access information since. Maybe I should have explored litigation, I paid for a lifetime membership, and now there is a subscription fee? That’s not how it works. Scaricata quando era previsto un unico pagamento per l’acquisto di tutte le funzionalità, in corso modificano la fruibilità in abbonamento e invalidano il mio acquisto, mai successo con altre applicazioni, ma a leggere le altre recensioni sembrerebbe invece essere una pratica usuale di questi produttori. Ho cercato di contattarli per risolvere, ma non ho mai avuto una risposta. Mi affiderò direttamente ad una applicazione competitor. Why would I purchase this to only be told you must continue to Kay yearly - that was not the original deal and I should not continue to be charged **Developer response:** Dear user, We are sorry that you are not satisfied with the iPacemaker App. For over a year and a half this application has been running on a subscription basis only. The modification of the payment method is linked to the need to keep the product database frequently updated (approximately one update every 2 months) and to the new features that are introduced continuously. In any case, we are trying to keep the cost of the annual subscription as low as possible considering that it is a professional-level application that offers a clear advantage to operators in the sector. ### 1/5 — Creator Got Greedy *2022-03-01* Was a great resource that came with a hefty price but I felt it was worth it. Now the creator has apparently taken his customers’ money hostage by requiring they pay MORE on a subscription basis to keep access to the info they already payed good money for. Something tells me he’ll learn the hard way that his greed will cost him; the info provided by this app is not impossible to find, this was a convenient one-stop-shop but not worth the ridiculous subscription fees he’s looking to collect. ### 1/5 — Paid for app now not able to use *2022-02-24* Bought this app for work 2 years ago. Paid $15ish dollars for the app. This app went to a subscription base platform in I 2021 (I believe). At this point, they said since I purchased the app before the subscription plan was in effect, I will still have access to all devices and leads already in the system until that point. Fast forward to now, I can no longer use the app or see all the old information (even though they said I was able to). Also contacted customer support, in which they basically said too bad. Now after the latest update I have access to nothing! The information that I paid for is now not available to me unless I have a subscription. This app has now become useless. I should have been grandfathered in to have access to the whole site. Ich habe die PRO Version pro schon länger für einiges an Geld gekauft und damals hieß es auch Nutzung für immer und frei. Jetzt wird hier irgendwas umgestellt und ich muss noch jährlich dafür bezahlen, das ist absolut schlecht. It used to be $36 which was justifiable but now it’s way more and a subscription to boot. For this reason, we are actively working on institutional and hospital-based solutions that allow multiple users to access the app through a single agreement, significantly reducing the individual cost. Specifically it seems that there is not an equal representation of the companies and when many times in the last 2 years I’ve had the app, I can see the representation on this app via preview and speed of news respective to certain companies to be unequal and sometimes likely unknowingly biased for some unfounded reports I’ve seen. I love the app but only call for a more equitable evaluation of the representation of the companies. This update was not necessary for my needs. While I realize and understand this APP needs to have updated current information , there should have been a choice to update or not. I paid for this APP in 2018 and was perfectly happy with the information provided without the update, now it’s useless to me. Back in the good ol’ days we’d be lucky to get an updated spiral-bound device encyclopedia from one of the manufacturers maybe one a year, usually more like every two years; so by comparison, this app is pretty well up-to-date. In addition, the detail about the devices is very extensive, probably second only to the manufacturers’ manuals. Nice work, Sergio! Some may not realize how much work can go into tracking down this information, especially for legacy devices, and rather than having advertising, $16.99 is not unreasonable.
