I dislike the update and having to log on everytime I want to see where I am in my cycle. Wish it would work in landscape view for the Ipad ### 2/5 — Bad UI *2021-07-31, version 12.4* I don’t know why developers feel the need to change this app. It worked just fine and did what it was supposed to do. The interface is no longer intuitive, and is more difficult to navigate. I don’t know if I will be charged monthly, but I didn’t sign up for it. I did pay for the previous version. If I do get charged, I will delete the app. I don’t appreciate the switch with no recourse. I have PCOS, and up until about 10 years ago, had very variable periods. While I now have them once a month, they still don’t really come predictably. Second, after updating my iOS to version 13 last week the app is largely unusable because all of the buttons in the day interface are light grey with white text and they are unreadable (the color choices in the new version overall ignore WCAG guidelines for contrast, which is vital for vision impaired users. No one should be releasing new apps that aren’t accessible.). Third, I tried to send feedback through the app, which is the only channel they offer for help requests. The feedback button opens a small white box with no text and a green checkmark on top. The only option available is to click OK and close the box. So, there is no way to report issues except through this review system. And they want you to pay a subscription fee to use the app? ### 1/5 — Wish I read the reviews *2019-07-12, version 9.0* The new version of this app is too hard on the eyes. It’s too frustrating to figure out because all the buttons changed. Shame on the makers of this app. You could have made a new app for your greed to charge more money. Then they came with this “upgrade” that introduced useless features while getting rid of what made this app special.. interface is less clear, previously available features gone, your ability to back up is gone, and if you want to export your data for safe keeping, well, now you have to pay a monthly fee, for what used to be included by purchasing the app. The reason given by the app developer? “It costs money to run a server”. Well, then why not use Dropbox or other cloud file service for Dara backup server so you don’t hav3 to maintain it? Fortunately I had the backup of the old app, so I downgraded to the previous well-functioning version. I’ll keep using this older version until they cripple their backup server. Then I will just move onto a different app than spending monthly for an app I already paid for. Poor move and decision by the developers. If they want To move to a monthly subscription model, they should have left the original app alone and created a new app instead of forcing conversion to all those who paid good money. ### 1/5 — Used to be great! I used this app for years and now, they have made it a monthly fee app, and you cannot even use the screen horizontally anymore. I have a iPad holder and so a particular pet peeve of mine is apps that cannot be used sideways (the old one could be used sideways). The worst thing is that they sprang all of these changes on me after like 5 years in the guise of an update. Then BAM. Overnight one of my favorite apps is now one of my least favorite.
