### 5/5 — iPG-800/PG-1000 for iPad

*2016-10-23, version 1.4.1*

I remember seeing this about 18 months ago and sending you an email asking if you could write an editor for the D-50. Well it was worth the wait! What a superb job first class work 😀

### 5/5 — Makes editing a breeze - D-50

*2016-10-18, version 1.4*

Purchased this app tonight because as promised the developer added the Roland D-50 and it's nothing short of amazing. I've owned most synths this editor covers and whilst I only have the D-50 left to use it with, it covers everything you need for simple hands on visual programming of which would usually be time consuming and frustrating menu diving.

Setup was fairly simple (mac) and even though I was using this on a wireless network latency was of no issue to me. Everything worked perfectly.

Having monitored prices on the original D-50 hardware programmer recently, £3.99 will leave you plenty of change for another classic Roland addition to use with this excellent app. Top marks.

### 5/5 — So good

*2016-02-24*

This app is so awesome, thank you very much for making it! Love controlling my MKS70. Just wondering if you could possible include another setting for the TONE selector - to edit Tone A+B simultaneously?? I usually have the same settings on both A and B and just have them detuned, so would be great to be able to control both with one movement.

### 5/5 — Works great

*2016-01-22, version 1.3*

I have a JX-8P, and it's pretty tough to program from the panel (not to mention the membrane buttons are getting a little touchy with age). This app takes care of that very nicely, and I didn't have to drop 500 bucks on a programmer for the synthesizer I bought for half that...

### 5/5 — Happy JX10 (2.3SE) owner, here...

*2015-10-18, version 1.3*

Line 6 MidiMobilizer II works very well with 2.3 SE chip installed on the JX10. Don't tell any perspective PG800 hardware buyers, but I think I might sell my editor. I like the app better: smoother control with the touch screen makes for faster editing and numbered read-outs on every knob and slider.

Found new love for my JX! So Happy!

### 5/5 — Thanks For Your Support

*2015-01-28, version 1.2*

Great App!!!

### 5/5 — Rediscovered my Juno 2

*2015-01-24, version 1.2*

I was getting a bit tired of my Juno 2 until I discovered this brilliant app always fancied a pg300 but not the price tag. This app just works. Simple as that. Brilliant... Well worth every penny.

### 5/5 — Perfect w/ iConnect MIDI2 & Alpha Juno 2

*2014-05-06, version 1.2*

Best $5 I’ve spent in the app store. Works flawlessly with zero latency. Has breathed new life into my synth. :-)

### 5/5 — Super duper

*2014-04-27, version 1.2*

Recently bought a JX8P off Craigslist and this little app makes the synth a lot easier to program. I also have an Alpha Juno 1 but haven't tried it with that yet. I tested the app both wirelessly and through an iRig MIDI and it works flawlessly. For the price it's a no-brainer. Thanks to the developer for making this available.

### 5/5 — Works perfectly with my iRig MIDI and Alpha Juno 1

*2014-04-18, version 1.2*

This app works great! When you change patches, the sliders update in the app. When changing parameters in the app, the synth responds without any noticeable stepping.

If you have an issue where the app isn't updating, close the app (including in the app switcher), plug the MIDI interface back in, and re-open the app.

### 5/5 — Just buy it

*2014-03-10, version 1.2*

iMac + iPad air + JX8P + £1.99 USB to midi cable from eBay = wireless synth magic. This app was one of the (many) reasons I bought an iPad and I seriously love the fact it's brought my JX to life - if you have one of the great synths this thing controls - just buy it.

### 5/5 — Great!

*2014-01-12, version 1.1*

Finally, an inexpensive and easy to set up pg-800 program that works well. This is a game-changer for the jx-8p. Absolutely wonderful!

### 5/5 — Excellent, works on JX-10 too!

*2013-12-20, version 1.1*

This excellent PG-800 emulator DOES work on the JX-10 too! You need to have the 2.3SE ROM installed in the JX-10 and to change from lower to upper tone in you must use upper/lower tone buttons on the JX to select which one to edit. Leave the iPG-800 set to MKS-70 Tone A Mode A...

### 5/5 — Fab

*2013-10-08, version 1.1*

If you own one of these old Roland's. This apps a complete no brainer - it works brilliantly and does the job of something that's very rare and costing several hundred pounds.

### 5/5 — Great Virtual PG-800

*2013-04-15, version 1.1*

Great to see a virtual version of the overpriced JX-8P programmer. While I'll still be on the lookout for a real PG-800 at a FAIR price, this will do in the meantime. Really makes programming this wonderful poly synth a breeze. Nice job guys! Highly recommended.

### 5/5 — I love it!

*2012-11-27, version 1.1*

This is an excellent value! It is worth every penny! Considering that an actual PG–800 costs around $500, this is a no-brainer. It has really opened up my Roland MKS-70 and allows me to create custom tones with ease. I would love to see it expanded to allow for editing the patch parameters as well, but that's not part of the original PG-800 functionality anyway. A++ plus app. Excellent UI and eminently useful if you own an MKS-70.

### 5/5 — Fantastic!

*2012-08-17, version 1.0*

This is just what I've been looking for. To the Roland JX-8P users like me this app is a must have, expands your creativity over the fantastic sounds this vintage analog synth can produce. It works perfect and is even better than the original PG-800 (which is rare and can cost up to $500 on eBay) because of the fact that all the parameters get updated according with your tone selection on the actual JX-8P. The only thing I would improve on future updates would be the graphic design for the interface, so it looks more appealing and professional.

Great work!

### 3/5 — Original JX-3P Support?

*2019-01-19, version 1.4.2*

I own an original, unmodified JX-3P just bought this and discovered I need an Organix OS update? I don’t h@ve the KIWI and have never heard of Organix. I’ll try this when I get home and up my review to 5 stars if it works somehow...

### 4/5 — Works on Mac OS!

*2026-06-26, version 1.4.2*

Was looking for an editor for my alpha Juno - super happy to have something that works! I only rated 4/5 because I can’t type a patch name in, save it, and/or look at all the patches from the editor itself - I still have to use the alpha wheel on the synth to do the naming, and the membrane buttons to select patches. But overall very happy and can confirm it works on Apple silicon Macs (for now…)

### 5/5 — Super JX unleashed

*2022-12-16, version 1.4.2*

Seems like everyone fell asleep on this for the last few years, but just stopping by to say that this little app is superb. I have the beasty MKS-70, and this little app makes sound creation very accessible.

… Let me ask this - could you possibly develop an MKS-80 app? I’d be the first in line.

### 5/5 — Essential if you have a MIDI enabled iPad.

*2020-02-29, version 1.4.2*

I have only tested this with my Alpha Juno 1 at the moment, but also have a D-50 and a JX-8P to try.

Simply works straight ‘out of the box’ for the Juno, with no noticeable lag. Amazing, No Brainer alternative to getting a dedicated Roland PG programmer - which like much old 80’s gear, are over priced and suffer from reliability issues.

I am using this with an irig 2 interface with no issues whatsoever.

### 5/5 — Works with ease!

*2019-10-10, version 1.4.2*

Simple and to the point. Makes programming older rolands a breeze. Thanks!

### 5/5 — Simply brilliant

*2019-09-29, version 1.4.2*

I have an MKS-70 and a Alpha Juno 2. Programming has always been a chore.....until now that is. This app has changed the game as far as these synth are concerned. If any of you out there a wondering about this app, buy it, just buy it, you will not regret it.

### 5/5 — Replace PG1000 - PG800 - PG200

*2019-09-23, version 1.4.2*

Simply perfect, good User Interface and design respectful from original remotes! Works with iPad 1 under iOS 5, special mention for this endeavour. thanks for this app!

### 5/5 — No brainier

*2018-06-23, version 1.4.2*

Amazing !!!!nuff said😉 buy it

### 5/5 — works beautifully

*2018-05-05, version 1.4.2*

flawless with alpha juno 2!

### 5/5 — Stop waiting and get this app!

*2017-07-26, version 1.4.2*

If you want your jx-8p to come alive, this is a must have. App works perfectly as described. Thank you so much!

Using with a D550 and pleased to say its a joy to use.Happy to purchase! Thanks

### 5/5 — Awesome!! First a virtual PG-800 and now a PG-300 as well!

*2016-10-26, version 1.4.1*

Update: This app just keeps on getting better & better. Thank you Ken for adding the software editor for the D-50 and your continued improvements to make this app the best software editor available for Roland synthesizers. I can't believe no one else has bothered to leave a review, as this app is spoken highly of on several forums.

Thank you Ken, you are the man!!!

I was only just rekindling my interest in my Roland Alpha Juno 1, and thinking about investing in a good software editor to tap it's potential. I absolutely love the iPG-800 for editing my Roland JX-8P. And now you have added iPG-300 support. Awesome!!!

It's funny, I was actually thinking of contacting you prior to this, to ask what are the chances of making an editor for the Juno1/2. But I actually didn't think it would happen.

It's great how things work out sometimes.

Thanks again Ken, keep up the great work !!!
