Then if you try to leave the app (to check your password) it resets what you’ve typed making it super difficult to login with any sort of secure password. ### 1/5 — Please add buying food to app! *2024-05-30, version 6.0.2* The app barely works as it did before. Can no longer make bookings in app. Would love for this to be fixed. I still can’t login and stay logged in. Disaster. ### 1/5 — Horrible App Design *2023-11-23, version 6.0.2* The app doesn’t allow you to copy/paste my password. I use a password manager (1Password), so my passwords aren’t memorable or easy to type out. What’s worse, if I switch between apps to type in my password manually, it clears out what I typed in when I come back. The only feasible was to work this is to create a simple and insecure password. It’s so bad, I almost don’t even want to support the company and go out of my way to a lower-quality theater because the app is so bad from a security standpoint. ### 1/5 — The old app returned *2023-11-18, version 6.0.2* The previous version of the app design and technology has been reinstated, and it's more problematic than before. I frequently encounter issues with being logged out unexpectedly, and the user interactions are not seamless. Not sure the changes make any sense, assuming it’s powered by AI which ruins everything. As a consequence, I will not longer be patronizing this theater. ### 1/5 — The worst app on the internet *2026-02-12, version 6.0.2* Let me preface this by saying I love visiting IPIC Theaters and it’s a shame that they’re atrocious app makes it so difficult to buy tickets. I don’t know where to begin with the litany of issues there are with this app. When it comes to putting your payment info in it does not allow you to enter a state. It says the state will auto populate once you put the ZIP Code in but without fail this never happens. Apple Pay does not work on this app. Login is always a nightmare. Genuinely the worst app I’ve ever used. They never seem to release any updates or fixes. ### 1/5 — “Card issue” *2025-01-31, version 6.0.2* Will not allow me to purchase tickets ### 1/5 — Awful. I mean it’s serviceable, (barely) just a horrible experience. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Luxury and Comfort *2026-08-23, version 7.1.0* We’ve been frequenting iPic theaters ever since they opened one in the Houston area. I appreciate the convenience of having meals delivered to our seats, and I particularly love the smaller-than-usual theaters. Large theaters can feel overwhelming, but iPic’s size is just right, creating a cozy atmosphere. It’s an ideal spot for date nights, first movie outings with the kids, and even for those with mobility issues or elderly relatives. I highly recommend. ### 5/5 — AMAZING APP! *2025-10-27, version 6.0.2* This app was so easy to use and is just my favorite app on the app store right now… Sometimes I just open the app to look at it in all its glory. Something about it is so prestine. So beautiful.
