It’s extremely visually frustrating. ### 2/5 — What have you done *2025-11-07, version 6.1* The latest update ruined a good thing, every time I open the app I have to set my preferences, not good. ### 2/5 — New version is horrible *2025-11-07* I play the app all the time, maybe not anymore. The most recent version/update is horrible! It doesn’t save my settings, I have to remember to set my settings before every game. The cards twitch on every hand. They also took out the back button that was on the bottom left after each hand. You get used to something and then they take it away. There are way too many 4 bids. Glitches, I won the jack and the system gave the point to the competitor. App keeps getting worse. **Developer response:** Hello- version 6.1.1 was just released and should address the settings issue that you are seeing and it also has the back button. If you have any other issues feel free to use our contact info in the app to reach out to us directly. ### 2/5 — Deuce *2023-04-26, version 5.1.2* When the rule options are for the deuce to go to the person who played it, the computer players still hold it like they have to save it. I just had one of them give up a ten of trump, then when trump was led back, they played the deuce. Dumb. Very very dumb. Example, I bid two lead with an ace parter does not give the deuce. ? Hope Jonathan can figure it out. I will still give him 4 stars because this used to be one of my favorite apps to kill 15 minutes and I have confidence that he will restore it to its former glory. ### 2/5 — GameCenter *2020-04-04, version 5.0.1* Tried playing teams with 3 other friends. It kept glitching even tho we all had the latest version. In fact, there was nothing wrong with the old version at all. The new version is borderline unplayable in my opinion and absolutely poorly done. I won’t play it again until it goes back to what it was. Also, just played a hand where I got high jack and low of trump but it gave low to the other team. I loved the landscape view… gone. The color scheme and graphics are a step down and the score view used to be clean and simple. The gameplay seems to be relatively the same so why would you down grade the look of it? It so cheesy now.. makes me sad. After one round the game is stuck when it shows just the cards played and there is no way out of the screen. Always the most fun pitch app even if the computer makes crazy bids. I started playing this when I would get together a lot with friends to play Pitch and we’d all laugh about antics on the app since we all played it. Awesome memories and thanks to the dev who was truly one of the OG’s for making card games that weren’t covered with ad screens. Any chance you can take out that new feature? Thanks! ### 5/5 — Computer has a lot to learn! *2019-07-29* The computer doesn’t know how to bid, it will pass on a king, queen hand. It doesn’t know that low can be more than a 2, and will lead out a 3 and lose it because it happens to be low. It will lead out a jack even if it has other trump and sometimes Loses it. Leads out a 10 when having other cards it could lead. It just cannot think like a human. This would be a much better game with real players like Spades plus. ### 5/5 — Upset *2019-03-27, version 4.1* The previous version was more user friendly. I enjoyed playing the game on landscape view now I can’t. This version looks likes it is an initial version of a game. My friends warned me not to update to the newest version and I did it by accident and now I know why. Just wish the CPU protected for the deuce to make a little more challenging. The Game Center is great but I have next had a successful auto match so it is always me against 1 friend. Still love the app and play it all the time but that feature would make it that much better.
