And let these eerie tales, combined with haunting music, sad and often emotional graphics bring me an intense ghost story! Gather round the virtual campfire. The tales from Poe volume 3 are a great addition to your Scary Gothic horror collection. Not sure where you might go next. We desperately need landscape mode for iPad and iPad Pro. Yet the developer refuses. There were never any apps that could do as much good in landscape mode as these could. Yet "one way portrait mode "is the only option on an iPad. ### 1/5 — Don’t buy any of their products *2020-01-23, version 3.8.1* Don’t buy any of their products; they no longer work and they offer zero support! ### 1/5 — Suspicious *2020-01-12* These books are entertaining and well done, but unfortunately I have to give them a low rating due to the apps suspicious behavior. I have purchased all of the iclassics and found that they all immediately default to the 'on' position in cellular data and immediately use nearly a megabyte of data. Why a book would need to use any data at all is curious and that they use that much data is both odd and suspicious. I wrote to the company at the email posted on their website but received no response. I cannot recommend purchasing these books unless they stop this practice of sending whatever data they're gathering and using customers cellular data without permission. **Developer response:** Hi, we just released an update. Now the app works correctly. Regarding the data, we do not use data, we do not even ask for the email or name. Payment apps do not use any type of advertising. I had no problem after original download of the app. Regret doing the update. Please fix this problem. I would advise people not to do the update until this problem is resolved. Sitting with headphones on, listening to the background music of each story, as I read and flip the pages has brought a new experience to these well loved classic tales. If you love Poe, this is an awesome way to give a bit of life to the stories. I’ve been reading them for years now within the app, and it just doesn’t get old.
