We need to use a third party app to access our iPoint server and most functions. This iOS app doesn’t allow you to access quite a lot. Let alone this garbage app though, iPoint in general is garbage also. The UI looks as if it was designed by a software engineering student straight out of community college. Very basic, dated, and without any polish. All iPoint apps, on all devices, are slow and clunky, take forever to load, if they do load and you don’t have to close the app completely and reopen, not intuitive at all with hidden buttons and functions, functions that when you hit the button there’s no indication that anything happened, it’s confusing and super cumbersome, the proposals look like a high school student created it in Microsoft word, etc, etc. I don’t recommend iPoint to anyone. ### 1/5 — Garbage excuse of an app for 2024 *2024-03-15* You shouldn’t need to rely on an ‘offline mode’ to get things accomplished. This app takes about 2 minutes of waiting to load (yes, in 2024). If you are writing notes and switch out of the app to reference something - upon return, you’re back at the main page, saving nothing. So many tiny details like that that are just trash. ### 2/5 — Hit or Miss if it works correctly *2023-12-21* When it works it’s great for my use case. Being without cell service and still being able to check in to jobs is super handy but when it doesn’t work it’s really aggravating. Sometimes the app will load without the checkin bar at the bottom so I have to force close the app and hope it will load correctly. Unresponsive, tells you there’s no network when there is. ### 1/5 — The Worst App *2022-05-24* This is the worst and most unreliable app I have installed in my phone. It absolutely impedes any workflow based on information. The app consistently crashes and loses connection with the servers.
