### 4/5 — Good but please fix AirPlay mirroring!

*2014-12-30*

We used it recently in a quiz, and passed the iPad around the room to determine what type of question would be asked. We had it AirPlay mirrored throughout the passing around, so we could see the prize where on the big screen. However it didn't go to plan.

This app has very poor AirPlay performance, it would lag constantly and freeze for a second or so. This was only on the big screen, and not on the iPad itself. It needs to be optimised for AirPlay to work well.

Please fix! Otherwise all good, except the ugly (but useful) UI.

### 2/5 — OK but not up it my needs

*2014-07-16*

This is app is fine if looking for something for home fun. For professional use it did not match my requirements. Variable speed reactive to intensity of spin and realistic sound are lacking.

### 4/5 — Nice App!

*2014-03-22*

Love it for review activities when I do trainings. Easy to use and everyone seems to enjoy playing with it! Only problem is now w/iOS7. I can't transfer my games between devices, and just got a new iPad air. FAQ says "working on a fix to be live hopefully by January 2014". Aside from that happy with it.

### 2/5 — Weight the prizes

*2013-04-18, version 2.3*

The app does everything that is needed, except the weighting of prizes. Where is this function? I have upgraded on all available upgrades???

### 1/5 — Horrible App!

*2013-03-28*

This app does not spin randomly! We had two grand prizes and after around 40 or 50 spins, we had to give out 11! It spun 3/4 of one, then 3/4 of the other-back to back. So, we ended the prize spinning. The following morning, we redid the prises in the software, and the first 3 spins were all identicle (yes, coincidentally were grand prize). So, we had to stop using it. Thankfully we were not giving away money because it could have shut us down! I'm only giving this a 1 rating because there is nothing lower. Also, it exports, but doesn't import. Functions like a child's first program (in my opinion). Apps like this should offer a refund and be liable - at least for their software.

### 5/5 — Just what I was looking for

*2012-07-09*

This is a easy to use and meets all my needs. I had a question about this app and sent an email to the support team. I received and email and a phone call from their office. What great customer support! A++++

We use this for our direct sale team and our customers love when they win a prize. It is easy and fun to use!

### 1/5 — Almost

*2012-03-20, version 2.1*

This would be a great app at the $5.00 price with all the features it mentions but it's only a 1 star app at $15.00 that it costs to upgrade. I'll pay $5 but never $15.

### 5/5 — Sheryl with Warwick Boudoir Photography

"My absolute favorite marketing app to use on my iPad is iPrizeWheel. I got the idea from wanting to put up a spinning wheel at my bridal booth. The only thing is I’m not so good with hammers or nails. So it was iPad to the rescue. iPrizeWheel is a digital version of a prize wheel at a local fair. The best part is that to spin the wheel, potential clients have to give me their phone number and email address. The app will email me all of the contacts I've collected at the end of the day with the prizes they have won. I generally get 300 bride's contacts at a bridal fair. I’m tempted to purchase another iPad because sometimes the line gets too long for people to come and spin the wheel. Then they can’t see the videos I was playing, but that’s a good problem to have. It’s amazing to see the crowds pour around it. Every time someone wins, brides scream with delight, luring more potential clients into my booth. It’s a win-win for me and the brides and their winning reactions just fuel the fervor of the event. Every time someone screams while pulling slot machines you want to go look. iPrizeWheel has been a jackpot for me!"

### 4/5 — Cool app!

*2011-11-26*

Feeling frustrated trying to create our own prize wheel, I googled virtual prize wheels and this app came up. After Reading reviews and watching a few videos, I had to have this app. The app was a hit at a recent charity event and worked great. I will say the downside is that it is pricey. $4.99 for the basic, which you have to purchase in order to upgrade to the premium for another $9.99. The other downside is that the graphics are plain but adequate for the intended purpose. I don't know the difference between the basic and premium because I immediately upgraded to the premium. The app records the information from each spin based on the data captured. The premium package allows you to capture the data from data fields into an Excel compatible file format to build a contact database. You can also use your own logos for brand awareness. All in all, a really cool app that is fun to use for all kinds of occasions. Can't wait for updates and enhancements.

### 1/5 — Dissapointing

*2011-11-11, version 2.0*

The app itself it a good idea, the design is quite good, but the fact that I spent $5 and got almost NOTHING is extremely annoying. I will not change my vote until I can get multiple wheels for the set price

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Terrible!!!

*2025-12-18*

Not customized at all, a big robber, don’t loose your money

**Developer response:** Dbonavino - Sorry to hear about your experience. We would have loved to help you customize iPrizeWheel. Even the basic edition has hundreds of ways you can customize, so either you just completely missed how to work the app, or you're reviewing the wrong app. In either case, we'd love to still help you. Please reach out to info@iprizewheel.com or visit our FAQ page on iPrizeWheel.com for more info.

### 1/5 — Not worth it

*2018-09-19*

The app has many settings and is a great idea but barely works. I upgraded to premium to control spin time. It doesn't work. It takes between 7 seconds and 15 seconds while set on 3 seconds. We ran an event with 32 choices and half of the choices never landed after 60 spins. Many of the same ones hit over and over and over. This app is barely worth $.99. The upgrade is barely worth $.50. That's $20 I'll never get back.

**Developer response:** Attempted to resolve the issues described and could not duplicate. Customer cut off communication quickly and seemed more determined to get refund than troubleshoot. No other reports of this issue with other users.

### 1/5 — To difficult to use

*2016-11-10, version 3.32*

Wheel only shows halfway ,difficult to you use NOT USER FRIENDLY. I would like a refund!

### 1/5 — Waste of money

*2016-04-07, version 3.31*

I was hoping for a wheel like experience. It did not happen. Very lame and froze up almost immediately

### 1/5 — Crashes constantly

*2015-08-17, version 3.21*

Too many clicks to do what I want, crashes constantly, no way to get back to edit screen from play without completely closing the app - too many bugs for a $5 app. This should be the free version.

### 1/5 — Could be better

*2015-08-02, version 3.21*

For a 5$ app it crashes way too often ! 😓 could be a really fun app when it works

### 1/5 — Where are my campaigns????

*2015-05-01, version 3.2*

I have used the prize wheel for over a year now with both good and bad results. I too have noticed it gives a "roulette" sort of spin and have had to give away more than 2 times the amount of expensive items vs inexpensive ones, so I appreciate the option to upgrade to a version that "weighs" the amount of times you want to give something away. That being said, I feel that a $19.99 upgrade for that 1 option is extreme so have chosen not to do so, yet, when I open my app to run a campaign the entire app is BLANK and all of my Carefully Created Prize Wheels and imported logos are GONE!!!! Please bring back my info so I can continue to use the app, when that is done I will give it a more appropriate rating as I continue to use it to moderate success.

### 1/5 — More like a down grade!

*2015-03-06*

I paid for the previous version and spent hours customizing all my campaigns. To my surprise I was locked out of the old app. I discovered this while setting up for an event. I wasted my time and money paying for electricity and dragging in a 40 inch tv that I had no time to reconfigure a new set up for that weekend. I was forced to upgrade to this "improved" version. While in the old version I used to be able cycle thru 12 different pictures in kiosk mode, now I am limited to 4 picture. I'm sure if I spent $35 I could get that feature back. I've already spent $15 so far, I wish I had the old version.

### 1/5 — Disappointed!!

*2015-03-03*

Got the App 2 weeks ago, gold edition 3.0, to use at the 2015 Home & Garden Show in Cincinnati. I have spent time and more money for the giveaways that people win when they spin. The wheel crashes 8/10 spins and not only is that embarrassing for our company, we are losing all the data that we intended to get to go back and call, or email potential customers.
HORRIBLE APP as it is right now. If they fixed the app it would be awesome to use at various functions.
Very disappointed!

### 1/5 — Very suspicious

*2013-06-18, version 2.3*

I find a few things about this developer/app suspicious. Reading through the reviews, there are quite a few that are way too positive that have similar themes, writing styles, and lines as the company's own advertising. Looks like obvious feedback padding to me. The wheel is nice, it's worth 4.99. It's nowhere close to being worth 15.99 for the full features. Multiple wheels should automatically be a feature for paying customers and all of the other "upgrades" are what most apps give you as standard and common settings. The wheel will choose the same prize over and over. And if we were back in 1994 i would think the graphics were average, but today it seems like a junior high attempt at graphic design. I sent the company an email about these things with what I thought was honest constructive criticism that they could easily alter to enhance their product and got back a lot of snarky rude attitude. Which brings me to the next suspicious thing and that's the fact that my previous review was deleted. Never had that happen before. I wrote a review that was honest and appropriate, saying theses same things a few weeks back. It was here for a while, and is now completely gone. I hope people think twice before paying for this. I gave this company my $5 and really regret it.

### 5/5 — Prize Wheels

*2026-07-29*

I just love using this app for creating contests and prize wheels for the many events I do for my business. It is easy to use. The options it has allows me to be creative.

### 5/5 — Awesome app

*2024-10-23*

Not only is the app great, but the customer service is fantastic. I recently had a small issue with the app and got a resolution to the issue within a small amount of time. I love the fact that I actually talked to a LIVE person. You don’t get that these days. I truly would recommend this app.

### 5/5 — crash issue fixed

*2017-06-10*

After reaching out to iprizewheel they helped and corrected the crash issue. Great app for events.

**Developer response:** CasMav - Your text was missed and email was responded to within 24 hours of receiving. Sorry to hear you having issues exporting your data. This has happened a handful of times and we have detailed steps to retrieve data from corrupt files which we have also emailed your way. If you need anything else, please email at info@iprizewheel.com.

### 5/5 — Awesome app!

*2014-05-18*

My boss wanted me to buy a prize wheel for our trade show last week. I chose to go more high tech and bought this app a couple of days before the show. Setup and customizing was a breeze and the attendees at the show absolutely loved it. Other vendors had traditional wheels and were disapointed im sure when they looked over at the line of people waiting to spin our iprizewheel. People were jumping up and down over winning just about anything and we collected more names and email addresses than any other show we had attended in the past. Cant wait to use it at our next event.

### 5/5 — AMAZING!

*2014-04-26*

What an awesome way to help with my personal business. I didn't mind paying the $15 because that can be made back in 1-2 sales.
I will be suggesting THIS version to everyone I know looking for new and exciting ways to sell their products. Everyone loves to spin a wheel :) $15 is way cheaper then building and hulling one around. Plus you can make several for and use them for anything you can think of :).

### 5/5 — Great App!

*2013-11-06*

I am in Direct Sales and a vendor and many local events. I use this app to collect leads. People love it and it attracts more people than simply have a slip of paper out for people to fill out. Since a real prize wheel can cost approximately $300-$800, this app is a bargain. I purchased the premium app in order to collect contact info. Fifteen dollars is a small price to pay for the functionality and quality that you get.

I would like to see customizable fields and, according to the developer website, that should be available in the next version. I have recommended this app to other vendors and will continue to use this at all my events.

### 5/5 — What an excellent app.

*2013-04-29*

Want more people at your booth? This is the app. Before we started using this app at our booth, we would end up with 5 to 7 good solid leads per hour. With the app, we were getting 20 plus. It draws people in. Creates a lot of excitement and fun for everyone. Looking forward to more up grades. Thanks for a great app.

### 5/5 — Carole Brown - Feb 22, 2013

*2013-02-22, version 2.3*

I just purchased this APP and I LOVE it. It was exactly what I was looking for to use a Vender Shows and also my Party Plan Business. Thank You!!

### 5/5 — Worth So Much More

*2013-02-03*

We just started using this at our trade shows and it's been a huge success. The developers are super supportive and very quick to respond. I think the app is worth much more than they are charging for even the premium version which I gladly paid another $10. I'd have paid another $100 for it now that I know how well received it was by the show attendees. People stop by our booths just to talk about the wheel. It great for getting attendees involved not just watching or listening. Keep up the good work.

### 5/5 — AWESOME!

*2012-08-18*

I was searching for a great promotion for our local fairs and festivals. I did not want a regular wheel as the prizes change quite often and the cost is quite high. Then I came across the iPrizeWheel and I couldn't be happier! The total cost to get started was incredibly low. $15 for the premium version of the app, $60 for an HDMI cable and $30 for an HDMI adapter. That's it for a lifetime! And now I have something I can use at hundreds, or even thousands of events, at no extra cost. There were 30 people waiting at a time to spin the wheel!!! And the beauty of it is that I could change the prizes within one minute. If I ran out of something, I edited the prize right there and we moved on! Quick and easy! The iPrizeWheel was a smash hit and we will use it in our future remotes and events! We are also planning on implementing it into our morning show. Thank you iPrizeWheel!
