## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — :(

*2018-03-08, version 3.0*

It was very nice until i wasnt able to open the app

### 1/5 — Crashes

*2016-02-19, version 1.3*

Using an Iphone 6 with latest software. Crashes every single time I try and customize the times for the non-alerting hours.

Due to my schedule, the app is useless to me without the ability to customize this function.

### 2/5 — Keeps bugging out

*2017-04-20, version 1.6*

Will send notifications but won't prompt you with a question

### 2/5 — Glitches

*2016-01-13, version 1.3*

I thought it was brilliant and very easy to use… until it repeatedly deleted all my responses.

### 2/5 — Was working, but unreliable

*2015-07-24, version 1.3*

I suffer from severe anxiety and this app has really helped me to stay in touch with my emotions. The problem is I set it up to prompt me every hour and ask me a set of questions and I almost never receive an alert. Maybe once a week. It's really been vexing and frustrating figuring out how the alerts work in terms of immediate, fixed, random, but I emailed the support team and was helped right away. Unfortunately the issue has not been solved so I'm stuck with opening the app when I remember to do so instead of getting alerted throughout the day like I had hoped. I hope this issue gets solved soon.

### 3/5 — I love the concept but...

*2015-04-29, version 1.1*

As a clinical psychologist, I love this app's potential for providing my patients with a platform for customized prompting and data collection throughout the week, and having them share that data with me. 2 issues:

1) It erases all of the former responses after a few days, and I'm not sure if there is any way to change this. I know that I can export the data, but I'd like the app to not erase old data without asking me.

2) I'd love it if the data were more easily exported into an Excel spreadsheet or some other application that would allow for quantitative data analysis.

Thanks, I'm looking forward to updates!

### 5/5 — Helpful

*2023-04-19, version 3.2*

Good app

### 5/5 — So far, so good

*2017-10-12, version 3.0*

I have it set up so I can immediately do a quick self survey whenever I’m stressed and it’s helped so far.

### 5/5 — Thought record

*2014-10-22*

This is exactly what I have been looking for. Great tool for assigning homework of a CBT thought record, because you can change the questions and how many you want to present to your patient as you progress through therapy.

### 5/5 — Flexible

*2013-11-05, version 1.0*

This app has many potential uses and questions can be customized for individual clients. The dictation function works smoothly and will clearly make it far easier for most people to use. Homework compliance should be outstanding because of its simplicity. I highly recommend iPromptU

## Most praised reviews (2 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — PhD

*2013-10-28, version 1.0*

I have loved this app! Easy to use with clients and a great way to do CBT!

### 5/5 — Very convenient

*2013-10-22, version 1.0*

Exactly what CBT therapists need to give patients homework on their phones. Very simple to use, great implementation of the iOS interface. Really nice to be able to have patients dictate their responses. Patients love it, and they actually use it. Highly recommended.
