## What is IPTV Guard?

Your IPTV playlist has thousands of channels, movies, and series buried in a messy text file. IPTV Guard turns that chaos into something that actually feels like Netflix.

WATCH
Built-in player with live TV channel zapping, EPG program info, quality switching (4K/FHD/HD), and X-Ray cast overlay while you watch. Pick up where you left off on any device.

EXPLORE
Browse your library with posters, ratings, and real descriptions instead of cryptic filenames. Curated collections, actor filmographies, and an AI mood picker — tell it what you're in the mood for and it finds it in your catalog.

STAY AHEAD
AI calendar with upcoming matches (exact channel included), predicted movie release dates on your provider, and push alerts before kickoff. Never miss what matters.

KNOW YOUR PLAYLIST
Health score, uptime, ping, channel scanner. See which streams are dead, which are slow, and whether it's your connection or your provider's fault.

PROTECT YOUR ACCOUNT
Stream Guard prevents you from getting banned by managing simultaneous connections. See every device connected. Automatic user agent rotation so your provider sees normal traffic.

FAMILY READY
Multiple profiles with separate favorites, watch history, and recommendations for each person.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.11.0 — 2026-08-18

Subtitles you have already downloaded now appear right inside the Audio and Subtitles menu: one tap brings them back, with no new search and no daily quota used. Resuming from the home screen automatically finds the right stream when your provider reorganizes its library, fixing black screens when restarting a movie or an episode. Various fixes.

### 1.10.0 — 2026-08-17

Our biggest update since spring. Highlights:

• Online subtitles right in the player: search, apply, done. Your choice now follows the series, so the next episode picks up the same language automatically.
• Jump back into live TV: your recent channels are waiting on the home screen. The app remembers what you were watching.
• Trending now: see what the community is watching live, plus the latest additions to your playlists at a glance.
• Share any movie or series page with a friend in one tap.
• No IPTV subscription yet? Explore the app freely with discovery channels and a clear guide to get started.
• Reminders that actually help: expiring subscription, upcoming match, and every notification opens the right screen.
• Favorites sync in real time across phone, tablet and TV.
• Reliable search on very large catalogs, episode resume that finally lands where you left off, faster TV navigation.

Thanks for your feedback, this version is packed with it.

### 1.9.1 — 2026-05-25

This update brings polish everywhere, across all your screens.

On Apple TV and Android TV, the player has been redesigned for the remote: smoother navigation, more readable OSDs, audio tracks and subtitles one click away, and a new X-Ray mode on detail pages to glance at the cast and trivia. Search and Mood now have their own dedicated 10-foot screens. Entry-level boxes (Android TV sticks, Bouygues remotes) are handled with more care, with fewer crashes and snappier responses.

On iPhone and iPad, AirPods audio routing finally behaves the way you'd expect: no more sound stolen between your Mac and your iPhone, and playback resumes on its own when your earbuds reconnect after a call or a brief drop.

The mobile player feels sharper too: pinch-to-zoom reacts better to taps, and the zoom resets automatically when you switch channel or episode.

Your favorites now sync seamlessly across your devices, without ever creeping back after deletion.

While content loads, you'll now see small tips drifting across the screen: hidden shortcuts, suggestions to get more out of the app, behind-the-scenes notes. A nice way to make those few seconds more pleasant.

And every so often, after finishing a movie or adding a favorite, a discreet little message slides into the corner. Not an intrusive pop-up, just a friendly nudge: a reminder that IPTV Guard is built by a single developer, or an invitation to join the Discord community and share your thoughts.

On Mac, the keyboard shortcuts B (audio) and C (subtitles) now properly cycle through tracks every time you press them.

Thank you for using IPTV Guard. Your feedback shapes the app.

### 1.9 — 2026-05-20

• Downloads: save movies and series to watch offline, anywhere.
• Background playback: audio keeps playing when you lock your phone, with controls on the Lock Screen and Control Center.
• Redesigned offline mode: access your downloaded content even with no connection.
• Improved player: new touch gestures, pinch-to-zoom and a smoother interface.
• Redesigned Settings: a cleaner, iOS-style layout.
• Personalized home screen based on your favorites, with "Up Next" resume.
• Bug fixes and performance improvements.

### 1.8 — 2026-05-17

What's new
• Real-time cross-device sync: like a movie on iPhone and it appears
instantly on Apple TV or Mac.
• Cross-version resume: pick up an episode you started on the 4K version
from your FHD copy (and vice versa) without losing your progress.

Fixes
• Search could come up empty after heavy browsing — resolved.
• Favorite actors weren't being saved in some cases — fixed.
• The "Episodes" button was missing in the player when resuming from
  Continue Watching — restored.
