Apple should just ban this app and developers. **Developer response:** We have reported this review to Apple for review: We take privacy and security extremely seriously, and we want to be absolutely clear: NextGen IPTV Player does not steal users’ playlists, content, or personal data. NextGen is a media player only. Users add their own M3U or Xtream playlist, and the app does not provide, sell, host, or claim ownership of any content. The 300-second playback limit is part of our clearly disclosed free experience, allowing users to test the app with their own playlist before deciding whether to upgrade. The allegation made in this review is completely false. We have not received any support request or technical details that would allow us to investigate such a claim. Because this review contains a serious and unsubstantiated accusation, we have reported it to Apple for review. If the reviewer has experienced a genuine technical issue, we encourage them to contact our support team directly. We are always happy to investigate legitimate issues and help our users. ### 1/5 — Useless for me *2026-04-25* added m3u playlist and nothing happens, it’s failing to load channels. EPG not loading. Receive an error Extream: loaded fine from the 2nd attempt. EPG loaded too. No favorites, No “catchup” Often receive “playback error” of live channels. Very limited setting, Unable to use different players… I can go on and on. **Developer response:** Hi, thanks for your feedback, we’re really sorry for the experience you had. From what you’ve described, it sounds like the playlist/EPG may not have fully synced on the first attempt. We’ve recently released an update that improves playlist loading, EPG reliability, and overall playback stability, especially on tvOS. A couple of quick things that usually help: Refresh the playlist after adding it Make sure the playlist URL/credentials are active and supported by your provider Try reloading EPG once the playlist has fully loaded Regarding favourites, catch-up, and player options these are areas we’re actively improving and expanding in upcoming updates. This is extremely risky. You want me to pay just to see if my 8K playlist will be compatible with the app. I recommend adding a 6 day trial period like IBO Player. **Developer response:** Hi, thanks for your feedback. We actually offer a 3-day free trial, so you can fully test your playlist before any payment is required there’s no risk during this period.
