You can now take 20 full tests without seeing the same question twice (it was 11 before). • New questions are weighted toward hard and very hard — high performers no longer hit a ceiling. • Expert-level questions now exist in all 12 cognitive categories for the first time. **Options are now shuffled on every test** • The correct answer's position is no longer fixed; every user sees a different order. This removes any chance of spotting a pattern instead of solving, so the score measures ability rather than pattern-spotting. **Refreshed visual language** • Achievement badges are now tiered: bronze, silver, gold, platinum. Locked badges show your progress on the badge itself. • The leaderboard's top three now get medal insignia. • A custom icon set was drawn for all 12 cognitive categories. • Your level now appears as a ring around your avatar on the profile page. • The mascot changes with context: with a book in training, a stopwatch in speed mode, a medal on certificates. • Emoji icons in the training screen were replaced with branded artwork. **Fixes** • One question had two options giving the same answer, so a user who knew the right answer could be marked wrong — fixed. • The mascot on the website now matches the character in the app. ### 1.5.0 — 2026-07-27 New: A scientific scoring engine and a completely refreshed look Scoring has been rewritten from scratch: • IQ is now computed with item response theory (IRT/3PL), so each question's difficulty and discrimination feed the score separately — answering 20 easy questions correctly no longer counts the same as answering 20 very hard ones. • Your result now includes a 95% confidence interval: instead of a single number you get an honest report like "112 (105–119)" that shows the measurement error too. • Age norms: you're compared with your own age group, not with a 25-year-old. • Processing speed is no longer mixed into IQ — it's reported as its own index. • Adaptive mode is now genuinely adaptive: it re-estimates your ability after every answer and picks the question that tells us the most. On average 22 questions produce a more reliable result than the old 35-question test. The repeated-questions problem: • Questions are now selected using your history. Ones you've never seen come first, and repeats across consecutive tests dropped sharply. • If you've solved most of the pool, the app tells you upfront. New look and feel: • New app icon and a redesigned mascot that now reacts with 8 different expressions. • A custom typeface across the app (including Arabic). • Sound effects and haptics: correct, wrong, streaks and level-ups can now be heard and felt. You can turn them off in Settings. • Levelling up now shows a celebration — it used to happen silently. • Glass surfaces, transitions and button feedback were redesigned.
