When I return home I export my purchases to GnuCash. It does this pretty well. My issue is that I have created categories in GnuCash that are not in iQIF. If is not overly clear how to get these into iQIF. ### 4/5 — Great for travel, email slow *2022-06-11* This app is great for keeping track of my transactions when I’m on travel for work. My only problem is when I export the transactions and email them to myself, I never know how long it takes before I actually receive the qif file. (Currently waiting at least 30 minutes for my last export. ) ### 2/5 — Too simple *2021-11-24* The app gives very little customizing once you import categories, accounts etc. For my use I only need to enter transactions from 6 accounts. Credit cards, cash, debit etc. But once you import accounts you cannot delete ones not being used. Same goes for categories. Also seemingly no way to enter split transactions. Once transactions are exported everything is exported into a single file. Quicken 2007 (yes 2007) does not accept multiple accounts importing from single qif file. This app will likely be a bust for me as in all of its simplicity it misses the mark on very basic stuff. ### 5/5 — Great little piece of Software *2021-09-07* I use it every day. Eine mobile Lösung um unterwegs seine Einnahmen und Ausgaben zu erfassen und später im Finanzmanager zu importieren. Super Support, sehr schnelle Reaktion und nette und gute Unterstützung. Einfache Handhabung der App ist möglich, da wirklich nur die Bewegungen auf den Konten erfasst werden. Auch Umbuchungen können erfasst und später ins Hauptprogramm importiert werden. I use it with gnucash and it works perfectly as you can import (initially) your accounts tree into iQIF and export transactions back into gnucash with corresponding accounts recognised like a charm. It works great. In addition, I asked for a change in the way a default was set to save me a few extra clicks during data capture, and it was rolled out within a week. Blank screen when choosing that option. ### 1/5 — No Import of Categories via iTunes *2025-08-27* Seems that the App isnt uptodate, Import like categories is over ITunes App and not langer avaible ### 1/5 — It does not import/export to apple devices *2020-01-20* Since it relied on a feature apple removed from iTunes 2 years ago its impossible to import or export any of its data to a GNUCash program running on a Mac. **Developer response:** While you can still get the files off the device the old way using Finder, now a share sheet can be used which will allow the QIF file to be transferred via a number of means including Dropbox, iCloud Drive, email, etc. ### 1/5 — Fairly useless *2019-05-31* Doesn’t sync transactions from qif file so you have no way when out and about to know if you’re about to enter a transaction that will cause accounts to go negative. If it synced transactions I would say this app is worth paying for. ### 1/5 — Crashes after update *2018-04-22* Latest update crashes when selecting a stored payee.. can only create transactions for new payees **Developer response:** A fix (3.6.2) is in review. A work around in the meantime is to tap on the 'Payee' label at the far left which will pop a searchable list of Payees (like accounts, categories, tags) that you can use to add a Payee to a transaction. I deeply apologize for the inconvenience. ### 1/5 — Can't export QIF *2017-06-16* The app is quite simple and easy to use, apart from 2, very important, aspects: 1) it's quite a pain to import accounts, you need to use iTunes, and as a Windows user, I try to avoid it. 2) I can't export my QIF file! I've been using iQIF for years now and it make recording expenses simple. The new method of searching for Payee doesn't seem to get hung up as the previous version did occasionally which makes using the app even simpler **Developer response:** 2026.4 just released today should address the Accounts search/selection issue.
