Iqra is your companion for reading the Quran and learning Classical Arabic (Fusha) — from the first Arabic letter to word-by-word Quran understanding.

PRIVACY FIRST
Iqra requires no account and contains no advertising or cross-app tracking. Your learning progress, settings, bookmarks, and reading position stay on your device. Optional Firebase usage analytics remains off unless you explicitly agree, and you can disable it at any time in Settings. Analytics uses no advertising ID and receives no names, email addresses, free-form search text, or precise GPS coordinates from Iqra. Internet access is used for optional services such as Quran audio, speech recognition, prayer times, and—only with consent—usage analytics.

This update fixes a crash that could make the app unusable until you restarted it.

• Fixed: leaving a surah after scrolling could replace the app with the "Something went wrong" screen. Your reading position is still saved as before.
• Fixed: that error screen offered no working way back, so the app stayed stuck. It can now recover.
• Recitation and speech now stop reliably whenever you leave a screen.
• Fixed several crashes that could happen when leaving a screen while it was still loading.
