## What is Iqraa?

Iqraa is a Quran reading app built around your circle, or halaqa. Read the Quran every day with family and friends, keep a shared daily wird, and track every khatam together.

Create or join a Quran circle, agree on a daily goal, and see who has finished today's reading. Gentle nudges, streaks and catch-up days keep the whole group consistent, and Iqraa follows your progress all the way to the khatam, then starts the next one with you.

How it works
1. Create a circle and invite your family or friends, or join an existing halaqa.
2. Choose the daily wird: a number of pages or verses, a surah, or a juz a day.
3. Read in the Mushaf or the verse-by-verse view with translation, or listen to the audio recitation.
4. Iqraa saves your progress as you read, so your circle can see who has finished today.

Group Quran reading (halaqa)
• Start a private circle for your family, friends or study group, or join one with an invite link or code
• Set a shared daily wird by pages, verses, surah or juz
• See who has finished today's reading and nudge anyone who hasn't yet
• Catch up on missed days without losing your place
• Khatam tracker: follow each full completion of the Quran (khatm or khatmah) and begin the next one together
• Browse public circles if you would like to read with others

Read the Quran your way
• Mushaf page view with a realistic page-turn, like reading a printed Quran
• Verse-by-verse view: read the Quran in English (Sahih International translation) alongside the Arabic text
• Transliteration for every verse to help with pronunciation
• Show or hide the translation and transliteration whenever you like
• Free reading that always opens at your bookmark
• Arabic and English interface

Listen to Quran recitation
• Gapless Quran audio that plays verse after verse without pauses
• Choose from 11 reciters with Premium, including Alafasy, Abdul-Rahman Sudais, Husary, Abdul-Basit, Maher Al-Muaiqly and Shaatree
• Listen in the car with CarPlay, and read or listen on the big screen with Apple TV (Premium)
• Ask Siri “Are my readings done in Iqraa?”, or use it in the Shortcuts app

Build a daily Quran habit
• A personal Quran tracker: daily streaks and a stats calendar that shows your reading over time
• A daily Quran reminder, plus an optional Surah Al-Mulk reminder
• Home screen widgets for your circles and progress (Premium)
• Your reading syncs across iPhone, iPad, Apple TV and the web
• Daily inspiration from the Quran
