## What is IQWY?

QWY helps you keep, organize and find what matters to you.

Add your photos, videos, documents and other useful items, then simply say why you want to keep them.

Organize them into groups and add useful information such as notes, reminders, places, prices or links.

When you need something again, search using the information you added or text recognized in your content when available.

Keep the reason, not just the item.

Your personal content stays stored locally on your device. IQWY does not upload your personal library to its own cloud infrastructure.

You can also back up and restore your library using a backup file that you choose to store wherever you want using standard iOS mechanisms.

IQWY+ is an optional annual subscription that removes advertising. IQWY’s main features remain available without a subscription.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 3.0.2 — 2026-10-18

This update improves IQWY's reliability, especially how new version notifications are displayed, and includes technical improvements to ad management.

### 3.0.1 — 2026-10-17

IQWY 3.0.1 helps you make room and look at what you keep:

• Duplicates and Similar: IQWY spots identical or very similar photos. Compare them and keep what you need; what you delete goes to the Trash. In the Library, Show menu.
• Tidy Up: handled items and overdue reminders, gathered so you can organize, reactivate or delete several at once.
• Viewing: swipe from one photo or video to the next, expand the Why, start a slideshow.
• Useful information: before opening a link, calling a number or creating a reminder from a date found in a photo, IQWY shows you what it read so you can check it.
• Discover IQWY: a guide always within reach from Home, a shorter introduction and a few discreet tips, at the right moment.
• Sharing: videos you share leave without their location or device information. Your Whys and notes are never added.
• Reliability and privacy improvements.

### 3.0 — 2026-10-07

IQWY 3.0: keep what matters together with the reason, and find it again at the right time.

• To Revisit: overdue reminders, past dates, and unfinished items now appear at the top of Home.
• Recent Screenshots: IQWY shows screenshots from the last 7 days. Keep the useful ones and ignore the rest.
• Optional “Why”: save first and add the reason later.
• Improved multi-word search with the most relevant results shown first.
• Protection: lock IQWY, an individual item, or an entire group with Face ID, Touch ID, or your device passcode.
• Multi-select: process, organize, or delete several items at once.
• “A While Ago”: rediscover things you saved a few months ago.
• On iPad: a new sidebar and a two-column detail view.
• A redesigned detail screen that puts the image and its reason first, plus a more immersive full-screen viewer.

Your personal content stays on your device, and the core features remain free. IQWY+ removes ads.

### 2.0.2 — 2026-09-29

IQWY now clearly lets you know when a new version is available.

This update also improves version management so you can more easily keep IQWY up to date.

### 2.0.1 — 2026-09-28

IQWY now supports 10 languages. The experience has been refined on iPhone and iPad, navigation is clearer, and the app now discreetly lets you know when a new version is available.
