### 4/5 — Great app!

*2016-06-28, version 3.4*

Great app but little expensive.

### 4/5 — Almost perfect

*2015-04-23, version 3.3*

Just wish it had kVp and mAs other than that very useful and always with you as long as you have your phone.

### 4/5 — Great app...but

*2015-02-07, version 3.3*

I think this app is great and well organized. I am a student that will be taking my boards in 4months. It would be nice to have an option to take quizzes on the positioning. That's my only suggestion on adding to the app.

### 4/5 — Great but could be improved

*2014-12-31, version 3.3*

I think including kVp and mAs would make this app perfect! Great for sitting and reviewing positioning when you have down time.

### 5/5 — Love love love!

*2014-03-20, version 3.2*

Great app

### 5/5 — Awesome application****

*2014-02-22, version 3.2*

Very helpful and handy application. Saved me time and helped me multiple times. Has all the information and positioning needs to take an X-ray. Great application and a must have. Thanks for this great application.

### 4/5 — Good app.

*2014-02-10, version 3.2*

Over all a good app. It helps to have a nice convenient reference at hand. My only gripe is that there appear to be missing views that come up from time to time. Otherwise nicely done.

### 4/5 — Love it so far!

*2013-04-07, version 3.1*

This app is pretty fantastic! Even has LPO and RPO for zygapophyseal joints. I would be nice if it stayed in the same routine you were previously looking at as I switch back an forth between other apps but otherwise it's great!

### 4/5 — Emilly

*2012-06-20*

It's a good start, not quite finished. Has example radiographs for most but not all projections. Also would be great if centering points were described separately in descriptions. Needs some more projections described before it would be a "go to" reference.

Love the 'add notes' function. I'm looking forward to updates, and maybe even sending some radiographs to add to the app!

### 5/5 — Bon outils de travail

*2012-05-06, version 3.0*

Géniale!!!!!

### 5/5 — Very helpful!

*2012-04-29*

I'm finishing up my first year of radiology school and I've used this app almost everyday at Clinicals! This app is perfect for a student on the go. The only thing I would suggest is during updates save my notes on each procedure because they always get erased so I'm never able to use them.

### 5/5 — Great resource for students

*2012-01-12, version 3.0*

The first year students in our radiography program have been using this app since they began in August. It has proven to be a great resource to them as they enter into the profession. Great app!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — $30?

*2014-04-30, version 3.3*

I go to update and suddenly I'm suppposed to pay $30. I'll just stay with what I've got

### 1/5 — Incomplete Resource

*2012-12-02, version 3.1*

For $30 you'd think they'd include ALL of the projections you might use, but it lacks NUMEROUS projections.

As a current Radiography student, I'd say this App is barely useful. It is definitely not worth the hefty price tag.

I feel as if I was robbed.

### 1/5 — iPhone Update renders useless

*2011-09-26, version 3.0*

I just purchased this and updated my iPhone at the same time. It officially doesn't work. This is a ton of money for me to have something that doesn't work. Please fix it!

### 2/5 — Has the basics minus a few

*2020-07-25*

Doesn’t have inlet and outlet views of the pelvis. If you’re going to pay this much for an app it should have more views.

### 2/5 — Good for the basics. Missing a lot of specialty views.

*2019-10-30*

If your a new tech and just need the basics, this is fine. I wouldn’t say it’s worth 25 bucks though. I was hoping it would have more specialty views.
Here’s a list of common views not found on this app.

Hammate hook and pisiform views of wrist.
Radial head view of elbow.
False profile of hips.
Inlet/ outlet view of pelvis
Flex/ext of L-spine.

This is just what I could find missing at a quick glance.
At this price I really wish it would have more. For a little more you can just buy the Merrill’s pocket book that has a lot more info to offer. How do I get my money back?

### 2/5 — Used to like it

*2011-11-17, version 3.0*

I used to like this app, that is before the last update. The update may have added some exams, but it also messed stuff up. My notes got mixed up with the wrong exams. There are pictures that are incorrect (positioning wise) an they also removed some exams, specifically TMJs. I paid a pretty penny for this app and would have remained happy had things stayed as they were. If it ain't broke....

### 3/5 — Ok, but could be better

*2015-11-20, version 3.4*

Could remember last view for awhile instead of always resetting to the main page. Still missing some important views (for years!). Don't show many alternative ways to get views. Make this better, please

### 3/5 — kVp and mAs

*2014-10-04, version 3.3*

Would be much better if included kVp and mAs calculator or averages for study purposes and having everything in the same spot. Awesome app though, highly recommended by teachers, students, and techs.

### 3/5 — Cool

*2013-01-05*

Average app and overprice.. Good as a reference only.

### 3/5 — Iradtech

*2012-10-22, version 3.1*

This is a nice app would be nicer tho if you could add and modify the exams also if you could have labeled x-rays in another section and acceptable s# for different brands and how to change technique to change the s#

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great tool for students and licensed techs alike.

*2024-02-07*

This app is what I still use to this day when I need a refresher for whatever examination that I’m unsure of from time to time.
Helpful when I was once a student and still is helpful now, I highly recommend this to any aspiring future rad techs, this will be of great use in your day to day exams.

However, I think it’s due time for this app to be updated to be more modern instead of the way it is now with more projections, special exams, and updated animations and whatnot, these things will make this app even better if not greater than it ever was. Hope the developers keep this in mind.

### 5/5 — Excellent for RT students!

*2021-05-03*

I have never written a review for an app, but I must say this one is so worth the $25 if you are an RT student in clinic. Not only have I found it to be an easily accessible way to study positioning details for coursework review and clinicals, it is much faster and succinct than any technique books I have seen. Very good app, and easy to use!

### 5/5 — Radiographs

*2021-01-30*

New version is 100% better! Thank you for including radiographs for all exams!

**Developer response:** Every position has a radiograph beginning with version 4.1.

### 5/5 — Great app, worth the price

*2019-01-13*

The latest update made this app an amazing tool. It's finally formatted for the newer iPhones so it looks nice, updated positions, and the ability to add notes is great. By far the most expensive app I've bought but well worth it.

### 5/5 — Essential for Students

*2017-03-21*

Thrilled to see the same excellent info contained in my Bontrager book from school over 10 years ago in a handy App!! I had the pleasure of meeting Mr Ballinger years ago. Fabulous gentleman! This App is a must for any Rad Tech student, travel tech, and old Techs like me. Great job Phil 😊

### 5/5 — Love it

*2016-04-19, version 3.4*

Really handy for Rad Tech students

### 5/5 — Very useful app

*2014-09-12, version 3.3*

I am a clinical instructor and use this app as a quick reference to show students how to properly position patients and how the resulting radiograph is supposed to look. I love this app.

### 5/5 — Very useful

*2014-07-20, version 3.3*

This is very useful, I just wish there were trauma "shots" & positions in the app.

### 5/5 — Very Good

*2014-06-26, version 3.3*

Very good application and helpful

### 5/5 — Perfecta

*2014-04-21, version 3.3*

Perfecta
