### 3/5 — Little dated

*2017-09-27, version 1.0.7*

This app needs to be updated for IOS11 so if you haven’t done the update yet hold fire as this app dose not work on iOS 11 yet

### 4/5 — Great RDP app

*2017-04-06*

Much better than others I have tried. I tried it on iPhone 5 on Raspberry Pi 2 running Raspbian.

### 4/5 — Good but needs an update

*2016-10-25, version 1.0.7*

Update would be good, it's been over 3 years since last update, causing my phone to slow down and lose battery fast

### 3/5 — No support

*2013-12-18, version 1.0.7*

Works pretty well but there is no support via their web site forum.
I joined the forum and posted about a month ago and I'm still waiting for a moderator to allow my posting on the website.:-(
Pipe key doesn't work. Can you please fix it. Please, please, please!

### 4/5 — Great app & bug report

*2013-08-21*

I'm using this to access a Windows 7 PC and a Raspberry pi which is running XRDP as Remote Desktop server.
The Windows pc is using the standard port 3389 and the Raspberry is using port 3390.
Both computers are setup in iRDP. When accessing the Windows PC, then closing the session and accessing the Raspberry (on port 3390) everything goes well, however after the Raspberry session has terminated and then trying to access the Windows PC again, iRDP comes back with "cannot connect to server".
A work around to access the Windows PC again is to close the app by twice pushing the home button on my iPAD and touching the red "-" icon.
Besides this small bug I find this a great and well written app.

### 3/5 — Host

*2013-04-07, version 1.0.7*

I Don't know the host name or anything

### 4/5 — Useful app. But a little buggy.

*2013-03-04, version 1.0.7*

I have an ipad 3. I use it to manage my servers remotely on the move. It works well but sometime when you try and connect the app crashes and auto closes. An update to fix this bug would make it 5 stars.

Thanks

Steve

### 2/5 — Great App

*2013-02-27, version 1.0.6*

Great useful application, been using this for a few months now. Just updated to the latest version, however It seems to have a problem with screen rotation and now is no longer useable. Gets stuck in portrate mode on my iPad, however the keyboard no longer fits the screen, nor does the RDP image. Please fix asap.

### 3/5 — Not bad, but...

*2013-02-09, version 1.0.3*

Why do certain keys double-repeat (space, backspace to name 2)? Makes it impossible to edit on a Pi running tightvncserver. If this got fixed this would be a great tool.

### 4/5 — Best Free RDP in Form

*2012-12-10*

I've tried most of the free RDP apps, this one is my favorite in theory except for the following: when your screen "locks", not only does it disconnect you, but it does a full log off & shuts down all programs. This is a deal breaker, so I'm stuck with the more awkward iRemoteDesktop.

This app has perfect screen ratio (no scrolling) and as everyone says, the transparent keyboard is perfect. The mouse could use some work.

Also, a pet peeve is that there is no explanation of what extra features come with the paid "AV" version ... so no reason for me to buy.

### 4/5 — Good

*2012-12-08, version 1.0.3*

Easy connection easy set up

### 3/5 — Good, needs some improvements

*2012-12-07, version 1.0.3*

I have used a number of RDP applications to manage a number of machines and have found this quite average.
As previously stated there is no way to name the connections if you are using port forwarding.
Also on iPhone 5 it does not support native resolution which when you are dealing with a much larger screen at the other end makes a big difference.

Look forward to an updated version as iPhone 5 drawbacks aside it seems very stable.

### 3/5 — Hmmmm

*2012-08-20, version 1.0.3*

3 star rating sadly. Everything works great, except the developer hasn't considered that the whole list of connections on the home screen might actually be the same ip using different ports.

No way to distinguish between the connections for multiple computers on the same ip.

### 4/5 — Nice app

*2012-07-08*

Nice app. Good usability on an iPad. Can't find how to right mouse click yet tho.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — When connecting, just closes

*2013-09-12, version 1.0.7*

Haven't once made it to my desktop, this needs fixing.

### 1/5 — Crashes

*2013-05-28, version 1.0.7*

When I'm trying to save the server it quits!!

### 1/5 — Crashes everytime

*2013-04-01, version 1.0.7*

I downloaded on iPhone 5. The app crashed everything I try to add a server.

Shame as the virtual PC keyboard looks useful.

### 1/5 — Stuck in portrait

*2013-03-01, version 1.0.6*

As above. Can't use the app as keyboard is wider than screen and need keys outside. Shame app was great. Smaller keyboard would be good in any event

### 1/5 — Rdp port

*2013-02-22*

If I changed the port 3389 to another, it shows the server can't be connected. Other app can do this, and the port was setup on server side. Can this be corrected??? So, maybe give up?

### 1/5 — Doesn't work

*2013-02-17, version 1.0.3*

I have tried this on 4 or 5 different Mac OS X/Mac OS X Server machines running 10.6, 10.7 and 10.8 and it consistently refuses to connect. I don't have any Windows/BSD/Linux machines so have no idea if it works with them but this app is useless to me.

### 1/5 — Apple screen sharing vnc support does not work

*2013-02-07, version 1.0.3*

No good for me as apple screen sharing is broken. Also, seems to crash a fair bit when creating new connections.

### 1/5 — Too flaky to use

*2012-09-23*

Crashed every time I tried to set up a server. Disappointing.

### 1/5 — How do I set this thing up????

*2011-10-24*

No support for setup

### 1/5 — Not good

*2011-10-23*

It was impossible to set up.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — FPS

*2016-02-28*

Wonder FPS problem good for gaming

### 5/5 — Awesome App!

*2015-08-19*

This app is way too cool. I used it to connect to my Raspberry Pi and to my delight/surprise it worked exceptionally well to display my Raspberry Pi in real time. My only critique would be to optimize the screen size so that its compatible with larger phone screens.

### 5/5 — Great for pi

*2014-11-03, version 1.0.7*

Have to do 2 attempts each time since it seems to fail to put in password. Apart from that works great with my Pi. Robots here we come.

### 5/5 — Good little app

*2013-11-23, version 1.0.7*

No idea why other reviewers complained. Seems great to me on ios7. No issues connecting. Only thing I couldn't work out was how to right click.

### 5/5 — Awesome!

*2013-03-21, version 1.0.7*

Deserves full stars. Slick and beautiful, easy to use, even on iPhone 3GS. No annoying ads.

### 5/5 — Love this app, particularly the overlay keyboard

*2012-12-28, version 1.0.3*

Have tried a few RDP apps, this one particularly I love the way the developer overlays a transparent full keyboard on screen rather than popping up the standard apple one. Means you can still see what's going on as you're typing and you don't need to keep minimising the keyboard. Clearly someone who uses the app is developing it!

Perhaps as others have said be nice to be able to name the connection indepenedent of its connection name.

### 5/5 — Keep up the good work

*2012-10-18, version 1.0.3*

Works perfectly to access a Windows Server 2008 R2

### 5/5 — Really good

*2012-09-24, version 1.0.3*

Very fast and the keyboard is useful. Put in support for rdp in native iPhone resolution (if its even possible) and I would have no problem paying for this one!

### 5/5 — Outstanding

*2012-07-06, version 1.0.3*

Really well thought out and works perfectly

### 5/5 — Great App

*2012-06-22, version 1.0.3*

Great app, not only is it free it's also easier to set up than the MS version! Works well over 3G and has VNC as an alternative.
